Hi Bee, I wrote this in EDT & thought of posting it here as well, its more apt. I couldn't have agreed with u more on this. U have penned down the characters beautifully.
Even y'day & today after watching only the Premeer part I will have to say they r ruining Prem, his character, his essence, his soul!! And I want to ask the BT CT why? Why is that everytime Prem has to justify his actions, defend himself? I am seeing this outrageous posts where Prem is being thrashed to molecules & atoms & all because of this death wish he is carrying on his shoulders right now leaving the family & Heer.
It is always a ploy of BT whenever the female lead does something good they will promote it, show the causes, reasons & effects behind their every effort & we r left with crying with them, sympathising them, pitying them, relating with them but when it comes to male leads why r they turned into crying wimps, characterless, spineless, mass of jelly?? Why?
Same fate is being handed to Prem & now this character is left on its own & they know very well we like rather love HC & poor him he has to defend Prem with his acting & crying!! What nonsense is this?
If Prem-Heer r 1, then equal justice should be given to both the characters so that we get to see both side of the coins justly. For the past 6 months we r seeing Heer crying away, pining away for Prem, talking to the moon, talking to his phone missing him, carrying the weight on her own slender shoulders bearing all the responsibilities & we have cried with her, felt for her, gave her all our support. But when it came to Prem what did they do? They summarised these past 6 months of his POV in just 2 episodes? Gave him some stupid dialogs to justify his case, showing HC's solemn grave face with tears & they thought we will be bowled over! Heck no! I am irked to no end! If Prem-Heer r 1, then show it, prove it, I want all the tiny details of all the pain he went through in front of our eyes, the pain he took to find out about the family, the methods he adopted to help them staying in the b/g, all his plans of rescuing Heer from RR in any small way be it in Rajasthan or in Ludhiana thus making her strong mentally & making her confident, helping the family with the business, the marriages, his crying, his missing the family & Heer, his pining for them, his dying several deaths every moment knowing his days r numbered & he can't be with his loved ones ever. Show it to us, visual effect speaks a lot more than a mere narration! So if u want to do justice to Prem's character show the good deeds to us, show us his pain.
I want to know what was his motif behind marrying Heer? Was the drastic decision of Heer responsible for his actions or was it something else? What made him come out from his incognito status & stop the marriage? Show us his love, his reasoning, his motif behind every action. That will show Prem's depth as a lover, as a son, as a brother, as a human being! Just don't think touching everything vaguely in 1-2 lines will do it! No wonder he is so badly criticised.
HC as an actor cannot fend for Prem with 2 mere episodes & some tearful dialogs of how he suffered & what all he did, just show it to us in eastman color! This is my demand.
If Heer's pain is glorified to such an extent then do so for Prem as well. Everytime they do this for the male lead & people just bash them up left, right & center. I thought this show is different but no they r now following the same old track.
Now again Heer's pain will be shown with double the impact of how she is suffering badmouthing Prem as GS nastily in front of the family & crying buckets the next instant with Prem or alone in her room! I am sick of seeing this happening time & again. Next will be her 'agnipariksha' like Sita, where she has to fend her chastity in front of the whole family & I just hope like Ram, Prem is not left shown all numb & quiet seething in fury & pain like he did when Lalit asked Heer back in June whether they have any illegitimate relation. I will kill these creatives then.
It doesn't work this way, if u want us to love both the characters then do justice equally to both of them. We need to see every angle, every aspect of their reasoning, suffering & misery. No wonder I see the forum is either bashing Heer or Prem! And all for these good for nothing creatives.
Sorry guys if I did sound harsh but I was angry to see y'day & today's episode with Prem mouthing those helpless dialogs so resignedly leaving again everything to Heer, self-sacrificing his own self & then come & read all those comments about Prem is this & that! I know he is a super idiot for not consulting another doc for his condition or for that matter think about it logically that he never suffered even once as far as his heart is concerned but he blindly trusted that female but then show his reasoning why he did that, instead of us thinking & finding reasons on his behalf.
I am not blaming anyone, just venting myself out that's all. Please forgive me for doing so, it pained me to see Prem this way! If we love Premeer then that love has to be bestowed equally to both of them. I just can't stand the injustice served to Prem all the time. And I am not being partial to any1. Sorry again, didn't mean to upset any1.
