I guess it was mostly sad cause I know that this could be a possibility..this exact scenerio in the serial..and loosing Preet is just too much to even tolerate but still...he shal live, he shall live right here *thumps on heart like tarazan with a trace of the index finger on my right cheek indicating tears.

Yeah. The probability of it happening is what makes it even more depressing. Preet will never die, not as long as he has fans that are staunchly against his demise!!! He shall live on in all of us! (Totally cheesy line, but yeah...)
