that's kinda true... other than the smoking heer-pre..the guy face-offs .. the biggest thing that comes out from the show these days is that they're really dragging on any revealation 'bout who the guy is. i dunno... i'm hoping that next week, heer's actually going stop ... feeling so much and start thinking again. 'cause maybe when she starts thinking, she'll start working to discover just who the guy is... ?

i keep thinking of an old line that a mom-type told me:

life's a tragedy for those who feel
and a comedy for those who think.

i think part of the problem with the story is that heer's just feeling all the time --
feeling betrayed by herself (for having thought that this is prem),

feeling betrayed by the guy (for not being prem despite having come out of nowhere to stop her marriage to ratty),

feeling betrayed maybe even by prem himself (for - as the guy said - having left her. whatever the reason, he did leave her. y'know? when the guy said that to heer, what i remembered? how when lallu was trying to tell her that prem was dead, heer stood by the window and pointblank refused to believe it! she must've felt betrayed by prem at some point, after she saw that cctv recording, no? the girl who refused to believe everyone was forced to at least acknowledge that he might be dead. she must have felt betrayed - if prem had the right to make all those promises, what happened to his responsibility to uphold those promises? one of the most superb moments in the show - no matter how heartbreaking it was....)

btw, i dunno if i'll get 'round to writing the bt,lt's for the last three shows, so maybe i'll ask it here.

remember when pre... the guy tells heer that totally whacky, creepy story 'bout ''some animal'' eating it's young when it's own life was in danger? *what a stooooopid thing to say, though, no? ''i saw a documentary on tv where an animal was crossing the river with it's children...'' no one sees a documentary on ''an animal''. the animal has to be a specific one! stooooopid!!!*

anyway, did you get the feeling when he was telling the story that he was talking 'bout ... himself?! ie, prem? and how there are circumstances under which he could not uphold the promises he had made when he said that he loved her? you didn't think that? i thought that he was talking 'bout himself. as if to prepare heer for the fact that prem was not able to keep good what he had said when he said he loved heer.... *sigh* that kinda depressed me...

and of course! that reminded me that one of my conjectures is that the guy is a pharishta! 😆 he's not a real guy -- he's an angel (actually!) -- sent down to earth by ... well, not saying by whom.. to take care of heer 'cause she called out to prem in distress. and to help her rescue the junejas! 😆

so if i'm right, in the end, we'll either get to see the guy (prem-ka-pharishta) pray to become a real person. or we'll see heer go off and become a ... pharishta herself. 'cause prem-heer-are-one, y'know... 😆

😆 hey! there is an interesting resolution comin' up! they can't be doing all that slow-burning the guy looks at heer, and the heer flare-ups at the guy for nothing, no?

plus, i remember waaay at the start of the show, hc once said that this would be an unusual love story, eternal, everlasting (all things eeeeee.... 😆) -- and i think that the prem-heer-are-one theme fits that... and i think they're gonna stick with it.

all we can do is w&w, no? sadly, we can't really trash the story until the last episode is seen! 😆

eh! y'mean i should really do the bt,lt?? oh... um... ha. 'kay. lemme see how much time i get between now and the next show? 😆

I totally understand heer's frustration, anger, guil and all...don't have a problem with it (i only have a problem when A/G overacts and dialogue writers write chapar chapar dialogues 🤢) May be heer feels betrayed but was death in Prem's hand? I mean did he want to be their at the time of blast purposely? Did he deliberately not fulfil those promises? heer feels betrayed and do you think Prem is feeling guilty? that he wasn't able to fulfil the promses and thinks she deserves better than him? Thats why he told her "Prem tumhey chour key giya ye sach hey waja chahey koi bhi ho"? He wants her not to love him so much? 😕

I agree those were really weird and annoying dialogues Naaa i don't think he was talking about himself...as he was refering to an animal who killed its child to save herself.....Prem didn't do that....infact he asked for his death in exchange of heer's lfe....so ummm it can't be him! Yes Prem wasn't able to keep his word, his promise to heer........ummm but was it his fault? Also could it be that Prem after surviving the blast came to know of something that hurt him? May be he felt betrayed by heer or something............and now that he knows the truth.........is feeling guilty? 😕

sighs i still have faith in Premeer are one even though destructives have shaken that faith many times.
But not knowing the guy, who he really is, has become quite irritating now. It just gives me a headache everyday after watching the epi. Suspense is good, suspense is what keeps a serial going....but how much and for how long?

I'll still stick to Gaurav (because it is better for my sanity. The more I think he's Prem the more confused I get. So till they don't show anything concrete indicating he's Prem I'll stick to Gaurav).

I always wondered why Gaurav never asked her this question as to would Heer have been so righteous if it was Prem who had got invovled in an accident? Also now I am starting to believe that Gaurav seems to be the perfect anti prem, but my question is how can be anyone be anti something without knowing the original?

i actually think that this version of the guy is not anti-prem... well, to anyone but heer, no? i mean, no one else (other than maybe kiran - who's a grey character in any case) no one else in the jzoo have seen anything 'bout the guy that makes them believe he is anti-prem. this anti-prem front is an act that he's presenting only to heer. and that too after bombay when she was all over him with her ''you are not prem'' accusation. i dunno... that's how i see it.

Whatever or whoever he is they should just stick to one thing and move ahead, don't you think? Do you think Gaurav is obsessed with Heer?

i totally agree that they should do it that way -- but for some reason they're not. i guess i'll wait to see why they've chosen to do this. primarily 'cause i don't have any other choice! 😆 and oh yeah, i think he's obsessed with heer. he may not have started that way. but it certainly looks like it now. i noticed that at the round-the-fire ceremony, all the other couples had people at nice inter-person distances. heer-the-guy? sticking to each other! and staring at each other. he even yanked her arm at some point to take stuff off her thali.

what amazes me (like always with these two), how no-one else in the family notices this stuff! i mean, even during the prem-heer days, when anyone with eyes could've seen that prem's eyes never left heer, even arch villainess dirtchachi didn't even think of it, so didn't notice it. same thing here, i guess. no one can even imagine that heer-prem can fight or hate each other. so they can't see the little glares? hear the little taunts that they throw at each other? very strange.

The question that's been bugging me for sometime is what's with Gaurav? Why is he so angry with the world? Is he really angry with the world or is it just a facade?

i think he's mad at the world 'cause he is prem. who has found a reason to stay away from heer and his family. and he knows that he has hurt them. that it's all his fault. and for some reason, he's got to keep doing it for a while longer. *shrugs* well, that's me. i think he's been hurt by the world. the rest of the ''anger'' part? i dunno... 'cause that seems to come up most (only?) with heer... which is actually a little puzzling. until i think mebbe he's angry at her for forcing him to feel guilty 'bout what he's doing?

ya, i know -- that all assumes he is prem. if not? i dunno. 'cause i don't care so much if not. and i'll w&w to find out.

Some of things that stood out in the whole of last week was Gaurav's stance towards Heer. I think he's softened his stand against her though she hasn't. Is that why he was concerned about her tears after the whole putting the thread around him scene?

no... that ''softening'' didn't feel like a softening to me... it felt more like... something undeniable. and that has a past. *sigh* yes, i know -- that still needs him to be prem. what can i say? in my head, i'm afraid he is.. so all conjectures start from that. 😆

As usual waiting and watching. Let's hope and pray for the best.

I like Meets relationship because its that innocent love.. there is something very innocent about it...they are gradually falling in love without either of them realizing it and boy, its going to hit them hard.

hmmm!!! *beatific smile on my face* well, i think that preet was being quite shamelessly open 'bout it this week, no? that ''dil mein kuch ho raha hai'' line had me going open-mouthed... and ooh, his smile, then. was that a shy preet or a sly preet? whatever... it made me feel ... content. 😊

Even when the show was simple and easy to understand I need your bt lt to understand it better and now at this stage when everything is so confusing I can't think of understanding it without your bt lt.
