I know, I know!!! It's been ages, but I've been busy and just went through a break up unfortunatley which did not quite put me in the mood to write. But I'm back!!! And I'll try to update as often as I can 😊. Please forgive me guys!

Decisions

Over a month had passed since the Juneja's had started living with the Mann's and slowly everyone began to cozy up to one another. Heer had been enjoying her job and had bumped into Prem at work at least five times but didn't feel comfortable to ask why he was there. She didn't want to pry into someone else's business. However, whenever she didn't see him at work she realized that her eyes would automatically search for him.

Kul was hunched over her desk examining a budgeting plan that her brother had prepared, "Wow not bad," Kul smiled.

"I was bored so I thought I would help you out," he passively answered.

"Yeah, sure, you can't fool your di, I know you want me to send you to Los Angeles for the Belle event."

"Naw," he playfully smiled.

"Well I need someone who will be able to represent our Canadian branch in the U.S., we'll need to send one fresh new face along with someone experienced. I have someone in mind as the new person, she handled her first project brilliantly, her presentation was outstanding and she's confident and very creative."

Prem was busy fumbling with a rubix cube while his sister talked.

"And along with that her I'll send someone from marketing," Kul said as she eyed Prem's face.

"What about me, I'm experienced, I'm good at presenting and talking in front of people, you know I'm perfect for this, so why won't you send me?"

"And what do are you going to tell Bauji? That you're just going for a little trip in the middle of your school semester."

"Just leave that to me,"

"Well I've already decided that I'm sending this," Kul looked down at her binder to find the name, "..Heer Mann,"

Prem's head shot up upon hearing her name, a huge clunk of the rubix cube dropping on the desk startled Kul. She looked at him confused, "Umm, are you ok?"

In an effort to passively pretend like nothing happened he reached back for the square object, "Nope, but you have got to send me to L.A."

Preet had been busy surfing the internet researching different job titles and schools. Ash plopped herself onto his bed where he was sitting with his laptop on his lap. "What are you up to," Ash stretched her neck to look at the computer screen.

Preet pulled immediately smacked the screen down, "Nothing, I was just surfing the net," Ash was not convinced, she raised her brow at him, and reached over for the laptop, he lifted it over his head but fell down on the bed when she tackled him down. As both of them struggled, they finally realized the awkward position they were in.

"Ahhhhhhh" Preet screamed.

Ash jumped off the bed, "What!!!"

"Do you realize that you're as heavy as a whale?"

"EXCUSE ME!!!" Ash chased after Preet.

Not much has happened in this update but the next update the story will advance more. So keep reading and I will keep writing 😊
