Recap:
Heers face lit up as Ash took out the dress from the bag she was carrying. It was a beautiful black dress that went a bit past the knees and has taters at the bottom. The straps were to go behind the neck. Heer smiled,"Oh you're so nice Ash. You made this for me? Oh thank you so much!!!" saying this she ran into the bathroom to put it on. She looked like a total princess when she came out. She spinned around a couple of times showing her new dress off. She gave a huge smile to Ash and ran to hug her. Ash was happy to see Heer smile. She remembered how her mom had tortured the whole family by trying to get Heer married to Manmeet. She shuddered at the thoughts. They parted and left for the hall.
-----Episode 2-----
Both girls showed up in a limo for the party. They got out gracefully and walked the red carpet smiling for the pictures being taken. They were greeted warmly as they entered in the hall. They talked to many people then went to their boss while outside the Juneja's were arriving. From the first car, Lalit and Gayatri got out, from the second, Preet and Prem. The two guys looked dashing in their black suits. Both of them were dressed formal and looked very handsome. Reporter and photographers went wild as soon as they put their feet on the ground. Reporters swarmed around them trying to get a word from them. Girls moved about and tried to get one glimpse from them. The men flashed their dimples, which made most girls melt and walked into the hall.
The wind increased and Prem's hair ruffled. He felt someones presence but could not tell whose is it was. He decided he was imagining things and ignored it. He and Preet made their way to Lalit and Gayatri who were talking to Mr. Roy, the owner of Fanasta.
"Roy, this is Prem and Preet, Prem, Preet, Mr. Roy." Lalit said introducing them.
"It's a pleasure to meet you Mr. Roy." Prem said sticking his hand out. Roy slipped it into Prem's and gave it a shake. He noticed that Prem and Preet were getting bored. So he decided to find someone that would keep them company.
"I want you to meet someone." Roy said and searched for Heer and Ash. He finally found them in the corner talking to each other. He took Prem and Preet to the girls. "Heer, Ash, I want you to meet someone. This is Prem and Preet. Prem, Preet this is Heer and Ash. I will speak to you guys later. Enjoy yourselves."
Saying this, Roy left them. It was a very awkward silence between the four but it was broken by an announcement being made but Lalit and Roy.
"Good evening ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to tonight's function." Roy started. "We are proud to announce that today Fanasta and LJ will become one forming the Fanasta&LJ Fashion Industry."
Roy's secretary brought out a paper and pen and gave it to the men. They both signed it and opened a bottle of champagne. Everyone went wild. Music started playing and Prem asked Heer to dance. She said yes hesitantly.
On the dance floor he put his hand on her waist and Heer felt something go through her. She had never felt this close to anyone before especially a guy that she had no relations to. She looked up to see Prem looking at her with intense eyes. She blushed and looked back down. They both danced until Ash came to get Heer telling her that they had to leave.
The next morning Heer got a call from her best friend, Krish. Heer had met him in the US when her family moved there. They became best friends and were inseparable. Krish was in London due to some 'work'. He came last night but didn't call Heer because he knew she would be at the party.
Krish wanted to meet Heer at the coffee shop so Heer got up early and left the house. She got to the shop and sat down at a table. She waited for a while and then saw him coming. He came and sat down in front of her. He didn't have the usual smile he did on his face but instead he had a serious face. Heer sensed that something was wrong.
"Krish, whats wrong? You look worried." Heer asked worried.
"It's nothing Heer. I wanted to talk to you." He said getting to the point. Heer nodded and he went on. "I was sent here by your mom and dad." Heer was in shock. What had happened that her parents couldn't call and had to send Krish. Krish took in a deep breath and sighed. "Your parents have a close friend, Lalit who has a son and he called a couple days ago. Heer, they asked for your hand in marriage."
Heer's eyes widened. She couldn't believe what she had just heard. Her parents wanted her to get married when she was at the peak of her career and that to a guy she did not know or had ever seen. "You're kidding, right?" she asked disbelievingly. "How can they say that. Oh my god. Is that why they sent you? So you could talk me into it?" By now she was yelling. She got up but Krish grabbed her hand before she could leave.
"Heer, meet the guy, get to know him, and then decide. Your mom and dad are coming tomorrow. Lalit uncle and his parents are in London too and they will be staying at your parents house. Pack your bags Heer, you're shifting to your parents place."
Saying this they both left for Heer's house.
