hello everyone

we thought we had a brand new couple in the show and started calling them Meet, khushi even has an appreciation thread.... for Meet, but guess what the name was already used in the first episode of the show

did anyone know about this? i didnt.... check the cast list,

well mixing up these two 'Meet' would be pretty hilarious, here is the screen shot i managed to take

dont know how clearly it is visible, but Amir ali character in the beginning of the show was named Meet

you know...i was like..😲 wen i saw amir ali's name there...i was like..wen was he on d show.and why meet is written there...😆 then i remembered he was there on the first epi...but i never knew his name was meet...😆

yes i never knew his characters name either, i think Shifali recently updated the cast page,
and i thought if somebody went to the cast page before they say the discussion forum they would think there were a lot of Amirs fans here....😆

yeah meet and mahi were the characters appeared in first episode of the serial portrayed by Aamir Ali and sanjeeda shaikh respectively....

they were the first lovestory shown in the show, they wanted to get married, their parents didnt allow it for some reason, mahi on the night of her wedding runs away to meet 'meet' , they are in a shed and heer is also there

people outside threaten to burn the shed they are in if they dont come outside, they decide to die rather than live separately,

mahi gives heer her dupaatta and tells her to go to their family, at the last moment they find a way out and dont die....

it s the first episode, in march 2008, think you can still find the link if u havent seen it

i think they started heers quest for her love from this story and later do u remember the red dupatta that lalit was carrying around, that was mahi's and she gave it to heer and heer gave it to lalit,

hey

i watched the first epi but didnt know aamir ali's name was meet....lol.....but oh well....meet is a couple's name (in kdmhmd - meher and preet) and they make meet sound much more cooler...than jus aamir ali (no offence to him...cos i do like him lol)!
