prem throwing heer out would be against prems character... I think prem was saved in the fire by that lady , and i think he is aware of whatever is happenning at the juneja's... there is a reason for him not coming back... and i think he returned but then he saw preet trying to be something and he decided against it as he wanted preet-lalit to mend their difference
but our prem wont be able to control himself when he learns that heer and RR marriage is going to take place and hence he comes back, in the nick of time to save heer
