Part 2

Prem was wearing this:

THE REST WERE WEARING REGULAR CLOTHES...

Lallu:(breathing in the sweet smell of his hometown) Aa gaya mai apne desh me.....(looks at Gayatri) Chale.....hamare hone wale samdhi ke ghar.....

Gayatri: Haa haa.....mai apni bahu se milne ke liye bahot bechen hu.....(says smiling to Prem)....

Prem smiles back to her. Preet who was standing next to Prem, whispers into his ear.

Preet: (really annoyed-whispers) Takluu ne toh aapse pooche bina yeh rista kara diya.....Pata nahi woh kaisi hogi....(looks at Prem wide eyed) Aagar woh ek dum moti hui toh.....yah ek dum patli hui toh....aagar batsurat ho toh.....and nakhare wali ho toh....

Prem: (pulling him aside and whispering back) Apni bakwas bhand kar...

Preet looks away.

Prem: (smiling to him) woh jaisi bhi hogi....mujhe pasand hai....tu chinta mat kar......bauji ne mere liye sabse acchi ladki dhoondhi hogi.....now will you please smile....

Preet: (looking at Prem with a sad face) PB aapne haa kyu ki.....aap toh usse kabhi mille hi nahi aur nahi kabhi dekha hai......

Prem: (holds his face in his hands) Tujhe muj par bharosa hai na.....please mere liye.....

Preet: (unwillingly) Aap jaante hai ke mai aapse sabse zyada pyar karta hu....par aagar woh aapke layak nahi hogi naa toh mai bauji se keh dunga.....

Prem: (smiling) Theek hai....par abhi toh chal...

They both find everybody walking towards the inside of the airport where quests are recieved. They all entered together. Lalit and Gayatri were the first to notice Balraj and Teji. A spark of delight apperared on their faces on the sight of two friends meeting each other after so many years. Balraj and Lalit ran towards each other and embraced each other. Tears filled their eyes and they pulled apart.

B: (extremely happy) Kaisa ho tum...

L: (very happy) Mai thek hu....dekha, hum sab aa gaye na....aab toh mai apni bacchi ko lee kar hi jaonga.....bacche kaha hai....

B: Yeh rahi meri choti Meher....

Meher appeared from the crowd. She bent down and took Lalit and Gayatri's blessing.

M: (very cutely) Kaise hai aap chachaji....

L: Arre yeh itni badi ho gayi......(he put his hand into his pocket and took out 2 chocolates) Yeh le tere liye....

M: (smiles back) aapko abhi tak yaad hai.....

L: Yad kaise nahi hoya....tu toh meri sab se pyari bacchi hai....(pats her cheek) Ashleshe kaha hai....

Teji looks around and spots her listening to her ipod loudly in a corner.

T: Woh rahi paagal.....

Meher gets her attention and brings her in front of Lalit and Gayatri. She gives them a smile and bents down to take their blessings.

L: Balraj....yeh abhi tak waisi ki waisi hi hai....(smiles at her cuteness)....

A; Of course uncle...aur aap bhi waise ke waise hi hai....cute, fit and handsome....

They all smile. Then walks in Kulraj, Harman, Veera, Preet and at last Prem with shubham in his hand, from the entrance. Balraj and teji meet all the kids and are quite impressed by their sanskar and respect. At last they meet Prem. He slowly walks towards Balraj and Teji woh couldn't believe their eyes. He was the most sober, the most serene person they had ever met. Prem slowly bent down and took their blessings. He folded his hands in front of them and said namaste.

B: (eyes filed with tears) Parjaai ji....bada hi sona baccha hai....

T: (gently touches his cheeks) tujhe pata hai....itne saalo se mujhe yeh hi chinta rehti thi ke tu kaisa hoga....kya meri beti ko khush rakhega....kya usse samaj payega.....lekin mai toh bhol hi gayi thi ke bhagwan sab ko jodiyo me banata hai....tujhe dekh kar meri sari chinta door ho gayi....

She gently kisses his forehead.

T: Tu toh meri umeed se bhi pyara nikla.....

Prem smiles at her.

L: Arre lekin hamari Heer kaha hai.....

B: Lalli woh mandir gayi hai.....woh bhi saath aane wali thi lekin usne kaha ke usse tere liye kuch khaas chis lani hai.....

Prem smiles at that. But from inside, he is dying to know how Heer is right now.

T: Aab sab ghar chaliye....

They all head home.

They reach the Mann Niwas. They all enter inside and join together in the family room.

T: Ashlesha-Meher, sab ko apna kamra dikha do and unko joh kuch bhi chahiye unhe do....

M: Theek hai maa....

Meher takes Veera, Kulraj, and Prem to their rooms. Ash takes Preet and Harman to their rooms.

Lastly in Prem's room:

Meher opens the door.

M: (smiling at Prem) Yeh aapka kamra hai...Heer didi ne sajaya hai....abhi aap aaram kariye, mai aapke liye kuch khane to laati hu.....

P: (sweetly and politely) Dekho kuch laane ki zarurat nahi hai....mai theek hu....tum meri chinta mat karo....

M: Theek hai....kuch bhi chahiye toh mujhe keh deena....

P: Haa....

Meher leaves closing the door behind. Prem looks around the room. It was just perfect.It made him feel calm and relaxed.

P: Accha kamra saja leeti hai.....par kaha ho tum.....

He walks towards the windown and pulls the curtains aside. He open the window gently and cool air flows inside making his hair blow sweetly. A soft drift of wind blows a tiny flower petal which slowly rests on his lips. Prem holds the petal and examines it for a second.

P: (softly whispers) Kaha ho tum Heer.....

The petal blows out of his hand and mixes itself with the air. Prem just gives a smile.
