Part 14:

"Maa, Maa" shouted Prem as he walked in the house with a handful of luggage

"What happened dear, and where are you going", replied Gayatri as she tried to set up the table for the morning's breakfast

"Maa, Heer and her…her… hus-band had a fight and he kicked her out of the house…is it okay if she stays here until I can settle her somewhere else", Prem said with some hesitation yet he winked at Heer at the thought of him settling her.

"Why Heer beta, did you guys have a fight… what was the problem. Everything seemed fine before", replied gayatri with concern

Heer glanced at Prem as she didn't know how to approach that question. She looked at Prem then at Gayatri until he gestured her to burst into tears. And so, being the drama queen she is, she started to shed tears dramatically and fell on her knees.

"Maa…Maa he kicked me out because…"

Prem gave her a hint of what to say to his mom

"he is gay?" questioned Heer

Prem knew that Heer wasn't going to catch the gesture he was making so he finally decided to jump in and said

"he has another women…I hate men like that.."

"Oh…that is so terrible. If I get a hold of him I will kick him. Ill get all the women in my company to beat him. He will be tortured" replied Gayatri with anger

All this drama was making Heer laugh, she couldn't help herself from letting out a chuckle

"Why are you laughing?" asked Gayatri

Heer and Prem looked at each other as Prem made mumbled words for her in his throat … "main is pagal se pyar karta hoon?"

"She isn't laughing mom… Heer ..Heer is always laughing so her cries seem as if she is laughing too he..hehe…hehe…Anyways, ill show Heer to the guest room so she can freshen up" quickly replied Prem before matters got worst

Prem practically dragged Heer up the stair before she said anything else that would ruin his plan. Heer kept waving bye to his mom which he felt oddly towards.

The guestroom was decorated beautifully with lavender paint on the wall. The bed consisted of tough white framework and held a soft mattress on top of it with a white and black pokadotted sheet. There were two white side tables, each one carrying a black lamp. Opposite the door that led to the room inside the house, was another door which led to the balcony outside. The room had a lot of space and was modernly decorated for anyone.

As soon as Prem left the room, Heer got up on the bed and started jumping like a little kid. She jumped with her eyes closed, her hair flying everywhere with a big smile on her face from which one could easily tell that her aspirations had been acquired.

"I am so Happy today. Yay" Heer said as she chuckled

As soon as she decided to stop jumping, she saw Prem standing at he doorway looking at her with his dreamy eyes. He couldn't stop admiring the childness and innocence that existed in the soul of Heer. He had his arms crossed on his chest and was leaning towards the door which was supporting his built body.

"Umm who Prem… I was.." Heer replied looking embarrassed

"Do you know when you are blushing, you look extremely adorable" said Prem interrupting Heer

This made Heer smile and she tried to leave the room. She moved to the right and so he moved to his left (her right). She moved to the left he moved to his right (her left). Finally realizing that she wouldnt win, she decided to turn his back towards Prem. Prem came closer to Heer. He slowly wrapped his hands around her waist at which Heer startled a little. Their breathing got deeper and their heart skipped beats. Heer tenderly kept her hands on top of his which were around her waist. She secured her head on his firm chest and tried to catch her breath. She slowly turned around so that he could kiss her in the passionate moment. As soon as she turned around, she saw Gayatri…

"What is going on here Heer" asked a confused Gayatri
