i've had my nose kept to the grindstone all week 'cause we had two tests this week and i had to rapidly catch up with three weeks of stuff. so it was a very limp estee that my prem-crazy-pal took to her home this afternoon for lunch. where i ignored her mother's wonderful lasagna 'cause i was busy gulping down a three-hour episode of the show.
so how's the rib, the arm and the head now...ur heart, i ain't gonna bother with..gosh, after 3 straight hrs of prem show...hope u took lots of notes, coz this was a one off...when prem comes back, its gonna be the measly 3-4 mins of prem/ prem heer.

1. i've mentioned before how i really can't take too much you-tube-ing in general -- so to see the stuff that i had missed(**) on the show was mindblowing!! and they showed (almost) everything that i had missed! the cross-connection phone call. the first meeting of prem-heer eyes and hands - cast in blue light and winds! oh my! then, rasta-roko. and of course, prem's first confession of "love, love, love, love crazy love"(***) to heer, holding her hand so tight that she can't move away. in brilliant, big-screen glorious technicolour. *sigh!!!* seriously, guys, it makes a huge difference.
ooohhh the raasta roko scene and the winds in his hair...i think the smile he gives heer in the payback rasta roko...killer....i think i contacted epe then....*runs to bang head against the wall*
what was worthy of wtf-ing is that the story told was prem's story, in prem's voice. both raksha and hope (hope08) pm-ed me 'bout this too. i asked my pal and she said that every other show done this week didn't seem to have this format. so *+ has done this specially - balaji can't have done this 'cause they have no staff? makes me think that hc's still on balaji's payroll. that hc's still investing in this show. that hc's gonna be back in the show -- no matter that his name is not in the list of credits at the end.

2. actually, i haven't figured that one out -- why isn't hc's name in the list of credits? balaji telefilms took pulkit samrat to court for breach of contract (walking out on lakshya before his term is over). and yet they had his name in the list of credits for ksbkbt. and it can't be lajiness(@) -- they add names when they have to. notice that now there are four names of directors for kdmhmd, rather than three? so... why the funny trick with hc's name? my opinion? i think even they are confused as to whether to put in "h chopra" or "h chopda".... 🤣 or hey! maybe they said he could only have it in if he changed his name to "h choopda" for those karmic/vedic/fengshui/voodoomagic reason and he refused? 🤣🤣 gee, no wonder vikas goo-(oooops!)-pta appears not to like hc much... 🤣
i did seriously wonder about this...why is his name not in the credits at the end...it is really odd....h choopda....🤣🤣

3. still... it was nice to hear hc's voice again. i've always thought that his voice was (one of his) best asset as an actor. *'kay, 'kay! so is the jawline. and the eyes. 'kay, the hair! 🤣* i remember thinking that iqbal khan had a gorgeous voice. hc's is different. ik's voice is gorgeous. hc's voice is not as outstanding. what is different is how hc uses it better -- like the most potent poison to trap,draw-in,capture-forever his (poor, palpitating) audience. it works like magic when he is in front of you, in character. i remember thinking that hc was out of the prem character once - during a flashback (post-prem's-apparent-death) with kuldi's husband - 'cause his voice was so... unprem! i think the same thing happens when he is not on screen and doing really long prose - the effort of using the voice to capture his audience comes through. so i was glad that he didn't have paragraphs to do in the 3-hour show.
i have to totally agree with u that the whole tape deal after the apparent-death of prem was really unlike him...especially the laugh...reminded me of SRK in the movie Darr...i think some one here posted that also...but, heer was simply brilling in those scenes. i often go back and watch them just for her...the best part i liked was when she runs from her room, down the stairs...that was just brilliant...still gets to me and AG as heer has come a long way...she was able to portray the desperate hope that heer was feeling...*sigh...wiping a lone tear from the corner of my eye*

4. but i must say! there were some really sweet things to hear "prem" say to explain the story! the first part 'bout how "harman was studying law and preet?.... naughtiness, fun, playfulness" 😆
and of course, most of the story was the prem-heer story (as it well should be!). the part of how his "junoon" spilt out of control (at the first confession/hand-grabbing moment?). or how "the heart that his heart beat for was moving away from him" but that "who was to know that things would change so dramatically" (at the prem-breaking-marriage-to-ashlesha) and as i listened to hc's voice, it was sooo obvious that he's in love with the prem character. seriously. hc loves prem as much as we do. someone who is treating prem "as just another character to play" couldn't have delivered those lines with so much obvious love. seriously. 😍
i really don't understand this and makes me really go wtf...really! we want prem, hc wants to be prem...so what's the problem?? they really need to bring him back. i found an emoticon that kushi created...did u see this?



7. but i must say: i miss knowing what's to happen next in the story. and of course, one more week waiting for prem (wfp). 'cause of this silly strike we have to suffer wfp going from 20 to 24 this week. i mean, i know the world economy is going to bust in a basket, but! why don't the silly tv-channels just raise the fees to the production firms. so that the production firms can then pay the workers their higher salaries. so that we can move faster to ending wfp??? *what?? you thought that i had noble intentions for the strike to get resolved?? 😲😆*

till next wtf then. when i hope we have some real wt to f. *no way you can get naughty with that sentence -- can you?!!!! do i even want to know??? 🤣*

I am considering sueing the creatives for using that word to destroy my mental peace... hey you can sue for anything, apparently, why not this?!?!

I missed all that too, but I went back and tolerated youtube for the sheer brilliance of those scenes. I blame those scenes for bringing me to the point of obsession I am now at. *insert pouting face*. I saw Prem's confession 5 times, even with my final exams going on. *sigh* those were the good old days. Not teh exams... of the show... I want them back!!! But, i dont think that magic will even come back.

I do think it is laziness, they still haven't removed Prachi's first father's name from the credits of Kayamath, although he was replaced, and then killed off over 6 months ago. lol.

I agree about ik - his voice is amazing, but I like to think that the things Prem says with his voice are soooo much better. e.g.

- "Heer and Prem are one, right. Heer is a symbol of Prem, and Prem is immersed the most in Heer." - 18 june (it sounded better in Hindi)

- "If Heer can't live without me, then how can she die without me?" - Heer's death.

- The whole of his "I Prem Juneja... take Heer Mann to be my wife" speech.

5. it was startling to see prem on so much fire, though no? i guess i'd forgotten the intensity of that prem -- he was spitting anger at dirtchachi when he's defending heer! hmmmm.. actually prem has never been that intense, or focussed, or on fire as much as when he was "after" heer, was he? i mean, it's like now that he has found and got heer, he's on a totally different plane of peace and contentment -- no matter what happens to the his family! seriously! veera tries to kill herself - nope, prem is goopy. not intense. ratpal targets daddy. more goopy prem. no intensity. after all, it's no longer prem - it's prem-heer. prem-heer apparently function different from prem-without-heer. *sigh* why am i doing this? like i need more reasons to ... uh ... hate prem.. *sigh!!* 😆

That is why I liked the character of Prem in the first place. I love the fact that a complete mama's boy, perfect-in-every-sense Prem completely blew up at his shaadi ka mandap because someone dared to touch his Heer. The fact that it was so shocking made his love all the more intense. Which is why I will be very disappointed if they do not bring Prem (the character himself) back to the show. I will not stand for another arrogant humshakal who Heer will slowly turn into Prem (because it won't be Prem in the end). I would prefer a Prem with a memory loss, and Heer fighting hard to rebuild their memories.

6. other than the blooming "alvida" word *😡 prem!* i thought the ending was quite intriguing -- they stopped it exactly at the point of the blast?? i guess that was logical - from prem's pov. but it was intriguing 'cause they could've put that insanely idiotic list of orders prem gave while being slowly progressing to krispy-preme. * yeah, like in the doughnuts🤣* they could've ended with prem saying that he wanted things for his family and that he hoped they would live happily ever after. but they didn't. *sigh* maybe i'm thinking too much. maybe it was just that way 'cause they ran out of time? huh!

so. if this strike thingie is not resolved by the end of this week either, does that mean that we'll have a "new" 3-hour episode of the show next week also??? will they do it from heer's pov this time? hmmm...!

I haven't seen the 3-hour show, cuz it didn't air here, but did Prem cover everything that happened with Heer too? Like did he talk about the death of her parents, how she started working in his hotel, her discrovery that Manmeet was mad... etc.? if he didn't then Heer's pov next week would be soooo nice, cuz I want more Prem-Heer scenes. Then, her pov may probably have what happened after his 'exit' (i refuse to believe he's dead), and a hint as to what she's going to do.

That is one thing I find interesting, I know she's still living to fulfill Prem's dreams, (because she's not pregnant, and doesn't need to take revenge from the person that 'killed' Prem). I'm happy with that, but I will NOT be happy if she takes it as far as marrying someone else to save that idiotic family of his. (except fr Preet, and Gayatri - they're sweet). If she marries RR to save them from 'destruction', it's another saas-bahu saga. Joy...

I hate it too, but I prefer this than watching any potential Heer-getting-married-to-someone-else drama, or Prem's-humshakal drama, because those are so PREDICTABLE... and this show used to be so.... unpredictable.

*sigh* *breath catches* seriously? Oh, I wished they'd shown it here! It would have been amazing, to see everything I'd missed (read: practically everything before the rasta roko scene) and everything I loved all over again! I've had to make due with YouTubing (though the HQ videos online are good..)

Somebody has commented, on another post, that the fact that it was all done in Prem's voice, and that this means he will come back, because initially it was Heer's story, but then Prem came into the picture and it sort of became his story, and now it's PremHeer's story, because after all, they are one.. Or maybe we're just reading too much into it.. God, I hope not.

I actually think it's lajiness.. I think someone mentioned earlier that they never changed the actor playing Prachi's dad in the credits? Well, when Kahin Toh Hoga was still on, they never changed Rajeev Khandelwal's name after he left, and they did this in a number of shows..

dunno 'bout what actually got shown here -- i didn't really catch anything on tv this week. i saw this 3-hour show on tape at a pal's place... but i bet it's out there on youtube if you'd like to catch it. is an interesting perspective on the show... and it was a great reminder to me 'bout why i got so badly captured by prem-heer.... at least, that's the excuse that i'm using. 😆
