part 9
everybody except gayatri was startled at this question. they did not know what answer to give. gayatri had no clue what had happened in the house after prem's disappearence..... it was as if she had gone into deep sleep unaware of what was happening around her......and had woken up after prem's return.
g.mom- haa maine bhi usey nahin dekha......
lalu- preet, harman take prem to his room as he needs rest and i'll call a doctor.
prem entered the room smiling.......... hoping to find heer waiting for him........but his smile vanished as soon as he saw the empty room. the room was exactly the way he had left.everything was in order ......... except one thing...... heer was not there and the room bore a look as if it had not been cleaned for days.
heer was not at home... he was sure.. coz if she would have been then the room would have never been in this condition.
prem- preet heer kahan hai? kya woh ghar par nahin hai?
preet did not have the heart to tell prem the truth........he knew his pb would break down if he came to know about heer. he could not give his pb another injury.... as this would not affect him physically but would tear his heart to pieces...... how could he tell his pb that his heer was married to another person.... a person who would never take care of her or love her....... he could not do it so he lied to him that she had gone to ambala to stay with some relatives so that she could be keep her mind off these things.
prem- ambala! but why? does she know that i'm back?
preet - no bhai she doesn't . we wanted to give her a surprise thats why we didn't say anything about you. you take rest now......
as preet said this the doctor came in to check him . the whole family was relieved to know that there was nothing serios with prem and he would be alright in a couple of days. he needed a lot of rest and was put under heavy sedatives so that he could sleep.....
in the meantime, preet had called heer and informed her about prem's rescue . she had heaved a sigh of relief when she heard that prem was well. she told preet to call her frequently so that she could check on his health.
the whole juneja family had gathered in lalu's room and wanted to know how preet had found prem.. gayatri had been informed about heer's wedding and she had been shocked to hear this. she didn't know how her beloved son would react to it.
when preet entered he saw the same question in everybody's eyes, but as prem had told him not to tell the truth to them he built up a story how a friend of his had found prem at a hospital and informed him about him. lalu gave him a hug and for the 1st time appreciated his youngest son's deed.
heer had just sat down for dinner. this was the first time in days that she felt like eating. her health was not keeping well for the past few days...... the usual problems associated with pregnancy..... morning sickness...... dizziness etc but today she felt a lot better maybe because prem was safe now and that relieved her a lot. the past few days had gone in a lot of tension...... whether prem was alright ....... when would he be back... etc etc. she was trying to adjust to the new surrounding......rr had been very harsh with her and had tried to hurt her on a few occassions but she had been lucky.. she had made up her mind that now she had to take care of herself as there was no one to take care of her and her child. no matter what she will give birth to prem's child and then she would give prem his child... she did not want prem's child to breathe in the misery of rr's house even for a second......
as she took the first bite she saw rr entering the house...... fuming in anger. he knew that heer had bluted out everything and prem was safe with his family.
he came and stood infront of her.
rr- why did you do it heer ?
heer- what?
rr- so you don't know what you have done? wern't you the one who told preet about prem being alive? now you're going to pay heavily for what you have done.
saying this rr shattered the glass top table and all the glass pieces fell on heer's lap. heer was trembling with fear as to what rr would do next. he just pulled her by her hair and stuck burning cigarrete butts in her arms....... which made heer cry out in pain.....

prem cried out in sleep which made preet come rushing to the room.
prem- preet call heer now! i want to speak to her....... she's in trouble....... i want to see her now!!!!!!!
thats it for today. hope you liked it. i wish i had put up the full part 8 yesterday as you guys seemed to have guessed the story. neways see i always keep my promise. next update on thursday or maybe before that......
