Obituary ad in newspapers

Was it published in 21 newspapers? How do you know that? The ad was definitely in bad taste. Also what I really don't get it is why make such a hue and cry over the death of a character? I can understand fans creating a hue and cry over Prem becoz we love Prem. But for the creatives that's just a character, right? If they feel for the character like the fans do then they wouldn't have killed him, right? And also they wouldn't be so insensitive by publishing ads with the actor's pic and his original date of birth! I sometimes feel that they want Prem's death to create a big hue and cry like Mihir's did some years ago? Why did they leak out the story that Prem was going to die soon? They never leaked anything out before - except Heer's death. And we know how that turned out. So why give it so much publicity? Why have articles saying that Harshad is going to do a daredevil act (I didn't quite get it, bcoz all I saw was him pushing a guy out of fire and just sitting there and crying) and using a set worth 30 lakh rupees! if I were a serial maker I would have never leaked out such an important twist in the tale unless I wanted people to make a hue and cry, send out hate mails etc. I really don't get what they are trying to achieve. Bcoz this was the biggest twist in the serial and it should have skyrocketed their TRPs unfortunately the highest it went was 3 (one day sometime the previous week) but on an average it was always between 6 and 10. Now what is their next big twist gonna be? Killing Heer! that would be nice bcoz it will atleast be sticking to the concept of two eternal lover together. Makes me wonder Kis Desh Mein Hai creatives ka Dimaag?
