Its stupidity to compare a film and a television soap. A film lasts for three hours or less than that whereas a soap lasts for years. NEVER compare a soap and a film. According to me, its silly to sign a soap knowing the fact that you will die within six months.
If there is someone I admire, its Rajeev Khandelwal because he stood up for himself and left Balaji. Cant say much for Harshad unfortunately.

I dont think its any kind of ''stupitidy'' to sign a show when one knows that his character is ending....I guess any charatcer should make a lasting impression..and thats what matter the most
I mean whats the use of playing a character for yearss and which have no substance
Atlest Harshad can be pround that every scene he shot for has been memorable
And well please do not make comparisons with Rajeev....Rajeev too worked with Ekta for 3 years before calling it quits...Harsh is just 7 month old to BT...U never know what Harshad's next step might be..Do not under estimate him..

Ok, this is the heights....
You sound ridiculous - as I said in my previous post, HC only took up Prem b/c he knew the role would leave an impact....to him, it didn't matter that he would be there for 3 months or 3 years....
And who are you to attack him for his career decisions? Its his prerogative what he signs and what he doesnt - who are you to question him?
Please do not talk about someone you don't know....
You obviously dont' know the facts. I suggest you do not comment further if you don't have nice things to say.
If you're not going to support him, atleast don't pull him down. You're being disrespectful and attacking his person....that just is not done.

Harshad is a brilliant actor and he has proved that point in the show.

From my point of view, a serial lasts for years and six months is never enough to make a lasting impression. Its different comparing his fan value in IF and different comparing his fan value in the aam junta.
To make a lasting impression for the aam junta in India, its necessary to work on a serial for at least a year because its the aam junta that is going to make an actor famous, not members on India-Forums. TRPS are most valued in India, not in overseas. The overseas market for serials are not as important as India.
By the way, Rajeev did not work with Ekta for three years. I think you are mistaken.

I am not attacking. The only person being aggresive is you. Calm down and relax. Its always nice to have a healthy discussion. Everyone dont have the same opinions on things so please appreciate my opinion the way I have to yours.
I have every right to comment being a member in this forum. Nobody will know the facts because we are only fans, its the people who work at the sets who know the true facts. Im only commenting on what I personally belive.
I would appreciate if we could have a healthy discussion instead of an arguement.

I really dont think that the number of years in a serial shows ones brilliance as an actor
Harshad has managed to do that in 7 months itself...He dosent need to stay on for 7 years to prove this
He is brilliant and has already made a mark
I also feel that Indian shows abroad are more viewed than in India
And well Rajeev did star in Kya Hadsaa then moving on the KTH for almost 2 yrs...

I agree, HC is a brilliant actor, and he's proved that...he's gained an immense fan following as Prem, and these fans will follow him to his next endeavor - thats what matters.

I know that only TRPs are valued in India, and okay, given, to leave a lasting impression, it may be necessary to work for a longer time frame, but HC was only AD for a handful of weeks, yet he's still remembered as Akshat....also, it could be that HC breaks thru the norm and, instead of 1 year, leaves his mark in merely 7 - it just goes to show his calibre....
And please, do not imply that the viewers of Desh will ever forget HC as Prem....they will not, I can say that with conviction.

I was not referring to how long rajeev worked with Ekta at all - I have no idea how long he worked with her - I didn't even know he had worked with her....i was using 3 years as parallelism to 3 months...just a made up time frame....

If you were not personally attacking then what did u do by using words like ''a puppet''...''madness on his part''...and ''dissapointing Harshad''šŸ˜•
U could have also put ur msg across in a more sober manner...U forced us to reply to u
And we are there for a healthy discussion..If u dont know that facts then its better u dont comment on his personal decisions

Why do you think it is silly to sign a soap knowing the fact the character would die withen six months??? Personally from my POV, this is one of the best decisions HC has ever taken... This show catapulated him to the heights of popularity, and instant fame... He got his FIRST ever award because of this show which lets not forget, was because of the "aam junta's" votes!!! And because of this show, he's one of the highest demanded young actors on television right now!!! From what angle does his decision look silly to you??? šŸ˜•

Honestly speaking, do you know how difficult it is to gain popularity in TV??? There are so many actors essay a certain character for years, yet they never achieve fame... but Harshad, he came as Prem just for 6 months, and he has made a place in the audience's hearts... That just speaks volumes of his immense talent!!! šŸ‘

Rest assured dear, I can say this with confidence, even if Prem dies or lives, Harshad is definately leaving this show with a BANG!!! šŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ‘ Honestly its the shows loss that they've lost such a great talent!!! šŸ˜›
