I need advice/opinions - Please help!

Hello,

This is a very strange request. I feel funny writing about it. I need some advice/opinion.

There is this guy that I've been chatting with for over a year now. To give some context, I had met him a couple of times as we have a we common friends. We hardly even said hello back then - just polite acknowledgements. Then, he went to the US, and I'm here in India. To cut a long story short, we got added on to each other's messenger due to some common email threads. We've been chatting with each other every single day morning and evening (coz my morning is his night and vice versa). We talk about everything, joke about everything. It's been almost a year and we've hardly missed a day. In between, I tried distancing myself by not pinging him and all that, but he would invariably ping me if I don't ping! We've never flirted with each other - neither of us are the flirting type. Now, I like him and I want to talk to him about it. I'm wondering if any of you think that he possibly likes me back?

I know this is a very strange topic. But, I badly need some advice/opinions. It will mean a lot. I'm only active in a couple of forums and I feel that you guys can help me. Please.

wow..wht a nice love story...my advice would be first try to find out if he likes you and then talk to him about you guys going out...cuz incase wht if he thinks you are his best friend or something so before you decide to tell him..find out from someone if he likes you or ask him if he likes any girls..if he says yes then find out who is she..
