I love how the layers are slowly beginning to peel back.

So Gayatri and Lalit brought MM's rishta for Heer...and MM was Prem's best friend. WOW...I love the twist.

Love how Gayatri was able to persuade Heer on account of Meher. Indeed Heer would say yes if her sister's happiness was at stake. Though, I doubt Meher would have wanted Heer to feel any kind of pressure from her...she would have been happy with whatever decision Heer took.

Now Heer is hoping that he can atleast learn to live with Prem and fulfill her role as his wife...as she knows loving him is out of the question. I love the depth of it and complexity of it. Little does she know that Prem will be her true love....kyounki Prem ke aage, voh MM kya cheez hai? right? She'll forget she ever thought she loved MM. 😳

Also looking forward to seeing more of Prem's agressive side. I just can't get enough of it.

Part 4

Ever since he heard about Heer's consent, his joy had no bound. Keeping the coat on his bed, Prem was walking towards the window in his bedroom while loosening his tie and folding the sleeves of his blue shirt upto his elbows.....leaning against the wall beside the window, he was looking at the stars, sharing his overwhelming joy with them........one week to go for the engagement ceremony.....Maa already approved Heer's break from work and after their marriage if she feels like she want to join again then she can........then how would this 7 days pass without seeing Heer??.......without seeing her beautiful face.....for the past one and half years, ever since he first felt attracted to her, it had become a habit for him to see her face....without seeing her, he couldn't concentrate on anything.....during weekends, only God knew, how he would spend his time remembering the moments they were together in the office discussing some business deals....unaware of Heer, he always used to steal glances of her whenever she was explaining some issues, looking down at her file......her way of removing those strands of hair from her face, the way she played with her pen while thinking of something, all those little activities of her always amazed him.......and thinking of weekdays even one glimpse of her beautiful face would have been enough for him to spend the whole day in serenity......But now, seven days straight without even a single glimpse........


After 6 days
How she wished her life was the same just like those stars look the same every night......looking at the stars Heer was thinking of the sudden change in her life, when Meher's excited voice interrupted her, " Didi!! Aren't you sleeping??.....We have to wake up early tomorrow......did you forget? Preet Bhaia will be here at 10 in the morning to pick up us? " saying that Meher took Heer's hand and both the girls sat on their bed........." I am so happy for you didi!!......whatever happens, happens for the best.......you and prem bhaia are made for each other.......you know di, I am really thankful to god that he had sent Prem bhaia as your life partner and I am sure that you will find your true love in him".......seeing her didi's confused look, Meher explained with a smile "You know, when you love someone, your eyes start to spark whenever you see that person or whenever that person's name is mentioned in front of you.........honestly, I never saw that spark in your eyes for manmeet, I know you have considered him as your life-partner ever since your marriage was fixed with him, but you can't force your heart to believe that you are in love with him.......only heart decides what you feel for a person.......right??"........like a student, listening to her little sister's meaningful lecture Heer answered with a smile, "Yes, Ms. Heart Specialist......aab sone chale??".......laughing at her sister's comment, Meher nodded at her while getting up to turn off the light.....

The Next day
It was a late afternoon, the whole Juneja family is still busy in the preparation for the grand party taking place at the Juneja Mansion.....the bright rays from the large decorated chandelier was dedicating the wide hall an exquisite look.........the guests already started to arrive........Mr. and Mrs. Juneja are all ready to welcome them.......

Turning back from the large mirror, looking all ravishing and dashing in black suit Prem looked at Preet while giving his tie a last minute touch.......whistling at his brother, Preet showed a thumps up saying, "Looking Perfect bro!!"......."Thanks" replied Prem with a smile.......when they heard a sound at the door to see Veera entered and checking out Prem from head to toe, "Wooow Bhaia....you are looking sooo hot!!!" commented Prem's overexcited little sister feeling happy for his brother while hugging him....."and you are looking like a pot" immitating his sister, Preet made a comment on her........"Bhaiaaa!!!", looking at her Prem Bhaia, Veera cried out like a kid, expecting him to stand for her defense......seeing her sad face, Prem jokingly scolded his brother, giving a disapproval look, "Preeet!!!".....feeling bad for his sister, Preet apologized "Sorry!!!....but what is this??.....when are you gonna get ready yaar???.......the party will start in about 1 hour and you are still in this get up??"......speaking of her get up, Veera got furious, "Don't talk about that bhaia.......those stupid people were supposed to deliver my outfit today at 12 in the noon and now it's almost 6 but no sign of my outfit......I ordered this lehenga from a brand new exotic designing collection only for today's occasion and now see what I am stuck with!!!" pointing at herself, Veera shared her sad story with her brothers.......understanding their little sister's dilemma both brothers consoled her, "awww.......it's ok....don't worry sweetie, by the way you are not looking that bad with only one earring" saying that Preet broke into laughter while sharing a high five with Prem who already craked up noticing Veera's new sense of style......checked to see she was missing one of her earrings, Veera screamed out of shock, "Oh my God!! It's in the washroom" and rushed to her bedroom......

Unable to handle herself properly, a frustrated Heer took off the new fashionable pencil heels. Massaging her toes to get rid of the pain caused by those high heels, Heer looked up to see if she could seek for some help. Finding noone at the room, Heer reluctantly left for Veera's room, hoping she would find her there for help.....Thanking God under her breathe as she spotted Veera in her room....Seeing her beautiful 'would be' bhabi at the door, looking all tensed, she went upto her " kya hua bhabi??? you wanted something?? " asked a smiling Veera, taking her hand she brought Heer inside her room.......sitting on the bed, Heer informed "woh actually I couldn't walk properly with those heels and it's painful too, so I was thinking if I..", sensing her awkwardness, Veera cheered her up, " Oh my god!!!......it's absolutely fine bhabi......in fact we have bought another pair of sandels for you just for in case you know......just wait here, let me find my earrings first and then I will get those sandels for you ok??!!......aur waise bhi we still have to do your hair too......and look at you!!! awww, you are looking like an angel in this outfit......absolutely GORGEOUS....white really suits you" complimenting her bhabi, Veera went to the washroom for her earring......

All of a sudden Heer felt prickly on her back, making her get up from the bed instantly to go to the mirror for check up......there it is, when she noticed two of the threads of her blouse were left untie at the back.......rolling her eyes, she threw the dupatta on the bed.......brushing off her open long hair from back to have a clear view of her back through the mirror, she was trying to tie a knot with those threads.......

Coming out from the room, Preet informed Prem about his friends who already arrived for the party but need help in the parking lot to park their cars. Assuring his brother to catch him soon in the party, Prem asked Preet to leave for the parking lot. Prem was about to head towards the hall, when Kulraj di called out for Prem, "Prem.....please give this package to Veera.....I have no clue where this girl has vanished all of a sudden.......it's her outfit......I have to go get Heer ready......Please do this beta", saying that Kulraj left the place leaving Prem holding onto a package....

As soon as his eyes fall on the figure, his step instinctively stopped at the doorway, his heart skipped a beat......seeing her after one whole week, he was totally lost by her beauty........looking breathtaking in that heavy, pure white flared lehenga highlighted with red sequins and golden kundon stones....with that little touch of make-up she was looking simple yet stunning......seeing her pouted face for having difficulties in tying that knot, his lips curved to flash that admirable smile on his face........how he wished he could help her get out of her current dilemma.....how he wished he could remove that annoying look from her face by leaving a sweet kiss on those lips.......standing at the door, Prem was still lost in his little fantasy world.......

For the past five minutes, she was trying to tie this damn knot but was still unsuccessful.......this thread was really getting into her nerves now......taking a break from her so called mission, she sighed, letting that frustration out.......In hope for the last try, when she was about to touch those threads, her eyes caught those passionate ones looking straight at her through the mirror.......She was shocked to see the person at the door, leaving the thread of the upper part of her lehenga still untied........she mumbled for words, looking everywhere but him......as soon as her eyes fell on the dupatta, she quickly grabbed the dupatta from the bed, somehow covered herself and rushed towards the door, slightly pushing Prem out of her way, Heer left the room.....

All the guests had arrived......after exchanging the rings Prem and Heer took blessing from Mr. and Mrs. Juneja.......Preet hugged his brother while giving a side hug to his beautiful bhabi......Kulraj, Meher and Veera also congratulated them.....everyone is enjoying to their fullest......all this time, Prem was stealing glances of Heer, who is now his fiance......only 2 days left then she will be his lawfully wedded wife.......
