Heyy Anjana! Glad to see you here! These two deserve more viewers...the forum is largely dead otherwise which just a few of us haunting it😆
Today was just sheer brilliance...scenes like today make me wonder why these two aren't more popular...today was some EXCEPTIONAL writing and exceptional acting...I haven't seen anything like this in the zillions of shows I've watched over the years...
It truly is unbelievable to watch such mature handling on Indian TV. Backbone is the word for Sanjay. Once he realised that he loves her he has not backed off or beaten around the bush. Not with Shruti and certainly not around his mom 😆 Aur unke logic ke to kya kehne. He has used it to perfection to get Shruti around to a point where she confronts him. Till then he was being so professional and following Shrutis orders .
[quote]Sanjay could have sat down and thought and planned all he wanted. But between these two impromptu situations, he's laid his case the BEST. If the first time was midst of an outburst, this was mature, crystal clear, and sans ANY trace of ambiguity or leeway. You know the HONESTY of a character, especially a man I suppose, when he can lay out his love on terms SO beyond the possibility of negotiation. And the EXTENT of his emotion, from his emphasis on WHAT he has put on stake is what he has with his BEST FRIEND.
Hello,
I just recently started seeing this and this is my first post so apologize if I missed anything obvious.
Gautami's acting is simply mind blowing...Manav is awesome too. Great chemistry!
I wonder when the story will go back to plug the gaps in the old tracks like Harsh's case, why he died, look for new house, finance issues, kids studies etc. After all, existing situations do not disappear just because SS are having romantic issues. I hope they keep the show realistic.
Also, it would have been nice if Shruti could have been shown more in control of her situation and not needing Sanjay's help EVERY TIME. It would have been awesome to show Shruti realizing her feelings for Sanjay as a completely independent woman without any obligations professionally and personally to him. It is just a little jarring to see that she cannot take a single step forward without his help.
And it must not be easy to work for a person with whom you are undergoing such emotional turmoil, hence making mistakes, getting humiliated and having no choice but to continue to work there...would have loved to see a more confident Shruti who was not dependant on Sanjay but still realized her love for him.
My 2 cents :)

The last scene literally gave me goosebumps☺️
I love the transition that takes place in the scene..
He was behaving like a normal boss in the beginning..the way she wanted him to behave..
LOL at the part where he says,"toh phir report banao aur rona band karo"😆
bechara kare bhi toh kya...when he doesnt scold her for her mistakes she has a problem..when he does.. then shes sad..
The way he melts afterwards & goes to her was JUST SO ASDFGHJKL [i dont have a word for that😛]& the fact that Shruti doesnt push him away or rather slaps him was DIFFERENT! Had it been any other show.. slap/pushing away hi hota.
Theres a certain amount of comfort level that these two share & that is why Sanjay could hold her/wipe her tear..
Also,I am so glad that this tym Sanjay spoke not Shruti.. she got to know his actual feelings, that he didnt want to loose his best friend too and tried not to bring in the change..
[ I love the usage of BEST FRIEND..Jis haq se they use this word for each other😳]The dialogue,"Tumhari feelings ko main control nahi kar sakta" was my favourite.Manav Gohil & Gautami Kapoor..I bow down to these two for performing so effortlessly.👏P.S : Anu di...Sorry but I'm chorifying the SS stuff from ur dabba 😉

Of course I had to choose such a day. Aren't you PROUD of me? Accidentally managing to come to action on the day that the ACE among aces is delivered? Don't you feel my psychic powers now?! 😆 😆 😆 😆 Dudeee. I already sent you the gush PM. An EXCLUSIVE on this scene alone, because like I said, and like you said - or rather, as we agree - this wipes clean just about ANYTHING, ever. Including, YES, you said that JUST right Nurey, anything on MM too. This just HAS to be the most BLATANT, CANDID, AND , REASONABLE of dialogues between two characters who've come to such a THICK stalemate. 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 I think we could bow out to Sonal, AND the actors, over and over, and not do it enough. Every SINGLE line of the dialogue, was like another arrow that hit bull's eye. NO meandering. Absolutely no insinuating. I thought I was going to burst some veins out of the excitement and desperation of not being able to REACH into the screen to someone, something, and just TELL THEM how BLOODY BRILLIANT this was, when Sanjay says - tum theek kehri ho, humare beech ka rishta badal gaya hai, aur ab pehle jaisa kabhi nahi hoga... maine isse ladne ki bohot koshish ki, Shruti, par ab faisla tumara hai... Can words so SIMPLE, so UNCOMPLICATED, so... spontaneous, ever make for the premise of a situation of something so tangled with SUCH precision. Sanjay, man, you're the ONLY one I know of YOUR kind, on TV. And am I not floored, and just how! 👏 👏 👏 ☺️

What I love to compare and admire about Sonal's writing of the two male characters is how you can distinguish the logical Sanjay as opposed to the cynical Mohan in very elemental ways. There is a CLEAR demarcation between being a man who has outgrown the years for anything of a typical love story, and can only be moved by something so precise, so perfect, as Shruti, to change his current lifestyle; and a man who thinks he has loved his best and honest most, and lost, turned bitter, and then just cynical in his resigned sort of moving on, and can only be moved by a faith so guileless, so unexceptional, as Megha's, who holds onto it like an elixir, despite the whole Amar episode in her life. I like how that variation is VERY distinct in Sonal's writing of the two couples, despite all the potential for overlap of nuances. And doesn't she do justice to them both 👏 👏
