Writer was Sonal only but there was something in NBT which can not be erased from memory i believe ..i too watch some random shows , like them or may not like them..just watching on habit..or may b i like some tiny bits in them..but there is a genuine feeling which comes across only from NBt..as if sonal aur rest creatives ne literally step by step banaaya ho..something like everyone contributed in nurturing the child before it came to existence..😆 The cast fitted the characters as gloves..kunal , toh, now i believe must be having tough time to let it go from his existence..isliye Goa mein lambe break par hai..😆like he said, he needs to learn the switching off..and Mohan was 40% Kunal 😆

@bold: Beautiful analogy👏...Wohi toh problem ho jaati hai...it's like some mysterious kind of teamwork that can only create that magic once...strong writing is the basis of any good show...but with certain actors, a kind of magic is created that only happens once in a while...As actors Kunal, Aakanksha, Ashnoor...they were all very DIFFERENT from the run of the mill ones...Jab show on air tha, we all gushed about Kunal obviously...lekin aaj main pata hai woh Rashmi days ke scenes dekh rahi thi...that coffee date waala? When Megha is reveling in her fake Mrs. Bhatnagar acting?😆...And how I missed Aakanksha then...and realized that no matter how much I felt that Kunal was a superior actor to her, Aakanksha by herself has this very unique earthy dignity to her that I can't see in any other actress on TV...and now I miss that too :((

But ofcourse more than anything I miss Kunal...and that acting style that is so uniquely him...the disarmingly vulnerable brusque goofball Mohan Bhatnagar...

LOL I think he's totally forgotten NBT for now and is drowning in daaru and the locales of Goa maze se😆...I think it's very easy for him to drift off into his own dreamworld...the upside of being a loner I guess😆...Miss toh I guess many months ke baad karega...when he also will realize that Mohan was once in a lifetime...and pataa nahin if he'll ever get such a lovely character again given the non-existent scope on Indian TV.

Oh me three. I miss nbt like anything.I am actually rewatching season1 episodes 😳 Now its very difficult to watch any other serial as I end up comparing it with nbt. Today I was reminded of shivratri, uttrayan and hol. The festive atmosphere of juna maholla 😛 you cannot even compare it with dandiya nite today. It amazes me how many times I see certain scenes it still has the same impact.

Me too...and more so cuz I've gif-ed more than half of them...you'd think the magic would wear off with time...but no, it hasn't...anytime I go back and pick a random scene to watch, I have a big smile on my face...and that is when I know we had a classic on our hands in season 1.

Main toh farmhouse epis dekh rahi thi aaj...Mohan's, "Shaayad sab kuch nahin...lekin ab aur kuch ki zaroorat bhi nahin" line...I can watch it a zillion times and sigh everytime😆

I am watching meghas first day at pl. Meghas disgusted looks and pata nahi kaun jaanwar baithta tha yahaan 😆Mohans zindagi bhar ki mehanat and phone nos ek hi jhatke mein saaf ho gaye 😆 first five months koi bhi scene utha lo you can just watch it.farmhouse two confessions .

So true about Aakanksha..we always gushed more about Kunal, Ashnoor 😳 😆..but frankly Aakanksha had been fabulous as fake Mrs Bhatnagar and inspiring as Mrs Vyas in early days...and a very much NBTish actor..even i think she wont fit into regular moulds of TV female characters.playing a different and mature role as a first timer was surely not seen as a wise decision on Hindi TV world 😉👏 ..But I believe such aspirations to play such characters definitely comes from a theatre background..age does not bind actors to play characters on live stage...remember, she has been shining again in NBt ssn1 in last two weeks when Sonal and Amit Mallick were back on board during paralysis track..she has really grown in these 2 seasons 👏

I never watched the last two months of NBT1...I was a major casualty of the Raddi track...could never recover from it😆

But as an actress, I did see Aks ki growth in season 2...her emotive abilities grew tremendously...I'll miss her brand of THEHRAAV in acting...it's generally a rarity on TV...and yes she too is unlikely to get such an interesting role again...nor does she fit the typical TV bahu mould.

Kunal-Ashnoor...that seems like an impossible dream now...*sigh*...actually they're all an impossible dream now...they'll probably never be seen in the same frame again...well maybeee Ashnoor and Kunal since they seem to hang out outside of the NBT framework...and being in the same city and all...Aks toh Jaipur waapis gayi.
