I posted this in the rankings, but I thought of making a separate topic on this as well.

For the elimination stunt I feel Rohit played a very smart game.

First he paired it up so it was a gender fight. Boys vs girls. Girl power. Girls are stronger than boys. So on and so forth.

But, more importantly, he paired up those people he knew would never put their face in the earthworms if given a choice. Harsh can act all high-handed about it, but even he would never have put his face in the earthworms. Ridhima and Jasmin, on the other hand, are go-getters who might have been grossed out at the idea, but would do it if it meant staying in the game. Just look at how Ridhima did the stunt. It was only at the end when either the smell got overpowering or she couldn't hold her breath that she finally backed off.

That means Rohit doesn't want to see competitions. When we know this season is already the worst one with the worst contestants, at least he should try to bring out the competition as much as possible.

^ Actually he's needling out the weak contestants in my belief. That will make the competition stronger because those people who kept aborting every task are out now.

Hello..
I'm a silent member here.. Nice analysis.
I agree with you here that Rohit might have played a smart game- both in Bharti 's case and in Zain, Harsh case.. He paired up Bharti and Punit for that ball throw task where Punit had the most crucial part of throwing the ball in the net which he did really well. Anyone else paired with Punit who could throw the ball properly might have been saved since Shamita and Jasmin too threw the ball pretty decently.

In yesterday 's episode, Riddhima and Jasmin did very well in the earthworm task. I too think Zain and Harsh 's pair was purposely made since both are not very strong in the creepy crawlies task compared to the girls. I think Rohit wanted to remove the weaker contestants and keep the stronger ones.. I don't feel sad for Harsh being eliminated. He was very sweet behaviour wise and his comic interactions with Bharti were fun, but he couldn't perform well lately. In the task where snakes were removed by mouth,he chose the easier part of lying down. In the last earthworm task again he luckily got the easier part. After the task Bharti was criticising Zain( it was understandable as her husband was getting eliminated )but the truth is Harsh himself would not have done it at all.The girls I think deserved to stay comparatively.

@ Bold: Yes! I laughed when Bharti said to Vikas that Zain doesn't have the drive to do the stunt. While true, I kept wondering how that didn't apply to Harsh as well? After all he doesn't have the drive either. He takes either the easier part in stunts or just aborts.

When him and Shamita were paired up, he took the relatively easier part of lying down while Shamita had to fight her fears and get the codes. Yesterday he would have had an easier job of removing the snakes with his mouth, but he chose to lie down and forced Jasmin to do that part.

Technically none of us should be judging, but we are viewers. It is our job to judge. She is a contestant. She cannot be biased towards one just because he is her husband.

No one can make the incompetent ppl want to compete after a limit. By now we already know they can't be redeemed.

I agree, we should ideally not judge especially if it's a stunt show like this. It requires excessive strength and guts to do this and it's not everyone's cup of tea. Also these stunts can be physically and mentally traumatizing for the contestants.
But since this show is for the viewers' entertainment, comparisons and judgement are bound to happen,as you said. Also these contestants knew what they were getting into.I personally didn't like the fact that Harsh sometimes took the easier way out during the partner tasks , was not a good performer and during his elimination, Bharti blamed his partner.

It was really nice watching the previous seasons' contestants. Many were very fast, competitive and did stunts really well. This year few contestants are great too though some stunts are easier this season compared to before.

True that. If he had paired any of the hardworking girls with the boys they would have lost one good player because of the weak one. He did good by pairing the weakest together. Zain had it coming. He didn't perform the scorpion task and also took the easy way in by choosing razor blade task. Plus I think it wasn't just the scorpion, he wouldn't have taken the baby snake or cockroach in his mouth either. Good result for the partner stunt week.
