cereal chivda
Ingredients
honey bunches of oats cereals 1 packet,
1 cup roasted peanuts,
5 to 6 kari patta,
5 to 6 table spoons lemon juice,
golden or black raisins as per choice,
green chilles 1 or 2,
oil 4 to 5 table spoons or as per choice.
rai 1 table spoon.
turmeric half tea spoon.
salt as per taste.
Method
take a big kadahi or deep pan.add the oil .let it get warm for couple of seconds .then add the rai, kari patta.let it roast on medium heat till rai starts to splutter.donot let it burn.then add the dry roasted pea nuts.let them roast for some more time .also add the raisins the same time.then add the haldi and salt and let it cook on slow flame ,just to let the turmeric cook a little.then add some lime juice .At the end add the honey bunches of oats cereal and mix it well on medium flame.
cool completely and store in an airtight container

u can also use the regular cornflakes or even thin poha.u might need to add almonds in the plain cornflakes or thin poha .i like it the honey bunches of oats way.it all depends on ur personal choice.u can add various things u want like chana daal dried one,or coconut flakes,or pista or (pistachio.).this is nice healthy snack .u can just sit in front of the tv nd enjoy it.thank you.
