Kesar Update for Tuesday (10-04-05)

Harman welcomes the Mallyas to his house. Harman asks Aseem to direct Rudra to his room. As Rudra goes up the stairs, Kesar faints. Harman sees her and catches her. Rudra rushes to her and carries her to the room. Harman calls the doctor.

The doctor checks on Kesar and tells everyone that her BP is low and she has to go to the hospital for some tests. She gives Rudra the list of medicines but Harman takes it instead and asks the doctor whether she would be all right and also asks her whether they need to take extra precautions. Kesar looks at Harman suspiciously. Harman and Aseem go out of the room with the doctor. Harman tells Aseem to hire a special staff to look after Kesar.

Rudra and Kesar are alone in the room when Kesar tells him that Harman's reactions were not normal. Rudra tells her that anyone in his place would've reacted that way but Kesar tells him that if he had reacted that way for a married woman, she wouldn't have liked it. Rudra laughs at her and tells her that he ought to be jealous, not her. She tells him that she doesn't like anyone else besides him to care for her so much.

Kadambari serves breakfast to Amma and Anand. Amma remembers Abhi. Kadambari tries to cheer her up. Amma then sees her burnt finger and asks her about it. Kad tells her that she burnt it while cooking. Amma tells her not to do all the household chores and concentrate on their business instead. She tells Anand to take her to the office. Anand reminds her about Abhi's 'chautha' the following day. Amma tells him that she still has to prepare the food, which they would feed the Brahmans. Kad tells her that instead of feeding the Brahmans they should aid poor children. Amma likes her idea but Anand doesn't, as it is against their tradition. After Amma leaves, Anand tells Kad that he has not accepted her as his 'bhabhi' yet. Kad smirks behind his back.

Dadi is surprised to see a 'mandir' in Harman's house Harman tells her that he placed it there especially for her. Dadaji tells him that he doesn't have to do so much for them.

For breakfast, Harman has everyone's favorite dishes prepared. Kesar and Rudra watch everyone from upstairs. Kesar tells him that she feels sorry for Dadaji and Dadi. Rudra tells her that without Harman, they would have nowhere to go. Harman joins them and asks them to have breakfast. Rudra tells him that he has to go to the office. He then tells Kesar to go to the hospital for her check up. After he leaves, Kesar tells Harman that he doesn't have to hire a special staff to look after her. Harman tells her that it is up to her, as this is her house as well and she may make little decisions of her own.

Kad is meditating when Reema and Shalini meet her. They ask her about the papers and Sethi but she tells them that she has nothing to do with it. After they leave, Kadambari tells herself that no one can stop her from reaching her goal.

Harman meets Sethi at the Mallya House and pays him. Sethi tells him that the house is officially under his (Harman) name. He also asks him his purpose behind this but Harman tells him that he doesn't give explanations to anyone. He then tells him to prepare for his next attack on the Mallyas.

Kesar is on the way to the hospital when she remembers that she has to get a 'murti' from the Mallya House so she asks the driver to take her there. When she reaches there, she is shocked to see Harman with Sethi.
