The thought of Jee Le Zara ending... is getting more difficult than I thought 😭😭

I cried watching the episode today... and honestly, I don't know why. I've been asking myself this question since the episode ended... I loved the episode, and I should be happy how Isha's issue was resolved... Yet, why did I cry?

Guess it was a mixed bag of emotions today... I loved the episode for how it was treated in terms of Isha's issues coming to fore and how it was resolved. I was happy how DV & Saachi handled the situation.. While Saachi believed Isha needed time to open up about the truth, loved how DV was impulsive and spoke upfront to Isha despite Saachi telling him not to.

Isha going into defensive mode...and blaming Saachi. Understandable. Yet she came around and spoke her heart to Saachi. It was beautiful to see how Saachi understood Isha's state of mind... and approached her accordingly, even upto the point of apologizing on DV's behalf.

I would like to add here... I'm happy the Arvind-Isha issue was about a fraud case, and not Arvind having an affair and Isha wanting a divorce. Honestly... that's the first thing that crossed my mind when the Isha-Arvind track was brought up. But it wasn't that... and it made me happy.

DV-Saachi scene ... so beautiful. I don't have any more adjectives left to describe how they are together. Loved how DV was in a sombre mood... his mind plagued with thoughts of everything his wife has and is going through in Goel mansion since they got married. He realizes how Saachi has been the target for every big or small thing... and he wants to take her away from it all. He wants them to live their life together from where they started off... in Panchgani. And he doesn't mind that he won't be with his family... His world revolves around Saachi, and he wants her to know that.

Ofcourse.. true to her nature, Saachi won't leave. Loved how she made DV see reason why she doesn't want to and can't leave.

Lastly, like DV said to Saachi - 'you're too good for yourself... I'm beginning to believe Jee Le Zara is TOO GOOD a show for Sony TV... its too good a show for the crowd of so-called entertaining shows these days. Sooner or later... things will change and shows like Jee Le Zara will withstand the pressure. Sadly... there won't be another show like Jee Le Zara.

No offence meant to other shows/actors/actresses... but Jee Le Zara, Ruslaan & Sangita are a class apart and in a league of their own. Guess it just couldn't stand the weight of the pressure. Moreover... all good things come to an end... and I'm happy my favourite show is ending on a good note.

CHEER UP GUYS... Let's bid adieu in style! The Jee Le Zara way... 😳

What a beautiful post ...please keep posting and we will respond...we should give an excellent send off to a show like this...I have been saying that JLZ is not meant for the Indian medium ...they will not understand and accept this kind of story...it's off beat and off beat stuff does not work in India
Sangeeta and Ruslaan are much better than the current crop of actors...unfortunately India does not see it the way we do...pl.keep visiting forum, hitting chaska meter, writing comments on Sangeeta's and Ruslaan's profile...this way they get a beautiful send off

Ekta..truly , JLZ is a class apart! There wre some hicupps that made us to doubt about the show's orginality. But now the epioses which r aired ..is too good.Aahhh...it's making me nostalgic..the wonderful relation/understanding and the bond that we used to see between SaRuv earlier ,r back again.DV and Sanchi both into their characters, story being crisp and handled sensibly.
I just meintioned in another post ..that it is making me hard to say goodbye to this show.Sometimes I feel, if they showed some more crap, may be it would have been easier for me, not to feel disappointed about it's ending.I would have left it with a smile. But,now with some wonderful episodes towards the end...it's making the task more tough for me.
I have been dragged to watch this show from the begining ...just bcoz of Sangita, but as time passed ,Ruslaan made me fall for his character with his acting skills, which excelled with every passing episode. These two literally ,gave their soul in protraying DV and Sanchi and made us believe and fall for these characters. What to say about their chemistry...awesome!!
@ bold-so,aptly said.It is too good for Sony.I don't know whether things will change or not...but one thing is that I won't get a show like JLZ anymore.I always have craved for shows with unique concept, but sadly such shows r still not accepted by masses and the channels also don't have the guts/wish to carry such shows for long...if they can't make money out of it!!

True Ekta.. JLZ is class apart and too good for Sony channel. But the downside to this is that we will never be able to see Sangita and Ruslaan again in one show as producers do not repeat the jodi and specially when a show is ending due to low TRPs. I am feeling more sad for this reason as I want to see them again in another show.
I am from now on going to watch all the shows in which they both act. They are superb actors.
Ishani, as you said it is going to be hard to bid adieu to this show as the episodes that are airing now are too good..very close to initial episodes. SaRuv are in their character and this is what we had wanted to see for so long. We are getting them but in the end. Good ending to this wonderful show and very very difficult for us fans to bear the end.
I mentioned this in another post - DV's self thought in the end gave a sense of deja vu - JLZ has come a full circle. He used to admire Saachi in Panchgani for taking such a good care of her family and today in the end he was admiring her again for taking care of his family.. That scene again made me nostalgic... want to go back and watch JLZ from the beginning one more time...

"Kamaal ho tum, Saachi...Kahan se laati ho itna pyaar? Jo poore ghar ko baandh leta hai...phir bhi kam nahi padta..."

*sigh* The episode ended like that, with a tinkle and with the signature JLZ theme from DV's confession monologue that I had just been listening to before deciding to watch today's episode...and it made me think, "Oh, this seems like an ending already...The beginning of the end..." And now my musings follow...

I liked the episode overall for tackling quite a few issues and hinting at others again: Isha's mystery, Suparna's pettiness, Anvay's competitive streak and bitterness, Neena's desire for peace in the household... But what I really loved was how, in the middle of all this, DV and Saachi balanced each other out, supported each other, and communicated with each other about everything.

Interestingly, today while watching the episode, I suddenly found myself thinking, "Really, Sangita and Ruslaan are such a joy to watch together. They are so good together!" For some reason, that thought came to mind and really stuck with me. It's funny, because whenever I go back and watch scenes from Classic JLZ, or if I even just listen to the scenes - and this happens every time I think of this show, actually - I always end up musing and gushing about how fantastic they are as an acting partnership...*sigh*

So what was so different about today? I don't know, maybe just the backdrop/context of scenes, maybe the ensemble of actors, maybe the execution of things...Probably a combination of all of that. Watching those two actors, who have been our constants in the middle of all the change (onscreen and offscreen), enact certain scenes and interactions in a relatively new setting, with the characters settling into a new phase of their relationship...There was an oddly paradoxical feeling for me. A sense of familiarity amid the change...

As far as performances go, Sangita was as dependably wonderful as always...She always makes me all emotional because of the way she brings Saachi's feelings out through the smallest changes in expression or the slightest changes in vocal inflection. But today, for me, Ruslaan stood out, especially in that DV-Saachi scene by the window. I loved watching him bring out the more serious sides to Dhruv "DV" Goel...the concerned, troubled husband whose entire world has truly come to revolve around his wife, Saachi. In a lovely, quiet sort of way, Ruslaan captured that and conveyed it with restraint...and it made my heart swell with familiar fondness yet again. In fact, Sangita-Ruslaan complement each other so beautifully that as soon as they both were in the same frame during their scenes together, as expected, they became that fantastic partnership again, acting and reacting to each other in such a way that DV's words and reactions stood out even more because of what Saachi was saying to him. The characters are like two halves of a whole...and Ruslaan-Sangita have brought that out so well with their performances.

- Saachi is pacing in the bedroom, worried about the things that had happened not too long ago...DV returns home and heads straight over to her, briskly, focusing only on telling her what he had found out about Arvind. I like how DV makes a beeline to Saachi as soon as he walks through the door - I imagine he probably came upstairs straightaway after stepping into the house - and I also like how Saachi is the one who pulls herself out of her pensive mode, takes DV's arm, and leads him to the side, away from the children, so that DV can tell her what he needs to without risking being overheard. Trust Saachi to think of Raman-Shruti potentially overhearing things...Very nice little touch there. And also, I love that DV gives Saachi the file to read and then he focuses on Saachi's reactions to everything he has found out. Even more importantly, Saachi expresses her views on the timing of the revelation, stopping DV from being impulsive for a moment...He ponders this, agrees with her, but it is clear that he is eager to sort out everything as soon as possible, out of concern for his sister...

- And so DV confronts Isha anyway...He gives her time to speak up and tell him what's going on, but she doesn't say anything until he raises his voice a bit and the rest of the family gets there. And when she does open her mouth, it's to target Saachi and blame her for whatever is happening. Naturally Suparna and Anvay jump on the bandwagon - and on top of all the troubling news about Arvind and Isha's lies, more lies and insults with Saachi as the target...that's all that DV can take. It makes me so glad to see DV cutting in and grabbing the file from Isha's hand and basically pushing Anvay to read it. Haha, I love how Saachi gives DV a sort of exasperated, "This isn't going to help, DV..." kind of a look...But if Saachi is at the center of everyone's accusations, then DV is sure as hell not going to sit quiet.

- When Anvay starts his whole, "I'm the oldest, so I will decide what's final" tirade with little jibes at DV, implying that DV is still an immature kid, DV's expressions are great. It's interesting, this whole game of one-upmanship that Anvay has been creating with DV as the unaware party...Anvay clearly cannot handle being second-fiddle to someone who is younger than him, especially if that someone is his younger brother DV...I feel like Anvay-Suparna should just pack their bags and set up house elsewhere, but then again, I doubt they'd be capable of giving up their lifestyle as it is. DV-Saachi should leave, then. Oh, and also, that bit where Isha tries to direct her frustration at Saachi again - DV's frustration can be heard in his snappish tone and seen in the way he all but storms upstairs after telling Saachi to come with him. DV reached a breaking point during the conversation at breakfast, it seems. Thank goodness for that!

- The window scene. This is probably my favorite scene in the episode. Beautiful shot composition and very touching performances from both Ruslaan and Sangita here! The beginning of the scene, with DV standing in front of the window: I really like the composition of this shot...DV is facing the light, but behind him there is gloomy darkness, sort of like his state of mind at the moment...and sort of like his life in Mumbai, in my opinion...There is light before him, but there's a lot of darkness behind his back. Saachi provides most, if not all, of that light (and Neena does, too, I suppose), but everyone else has done/said bad things to Saachi, and DV doesn't even know the full extent of the darkness in Yash/Anvay/Suparna/Ankita's hearts and minds...

- Then Saachi arrives, replacing DV's tense, unhappy reflection in the windowpane with her presence...He is not alone, he can share his feelings with her if he wants to, because she will always be there...Saachi thinks (and she is right, in part) that DV's mood is downcast because of Isha's problems, so she reassures him. "Tum ek bahut achche bhai ho, pata hai tumhe?" Ah, and I just realized that this possibly the first time Saachi has seen DV interacting with his siblings in such a way, being proactive and protective and worried for them. That's not the reassurance that DV needs, though. "Par main ek bahut bura pati hoon. Phir se sabke saamne tumhe doshi bana diya." The way Saachi's face falls just a bit and she looks at him with confusion and then tries to silently tell him, "No, DV, that's not true..." before he looks at her with regret written clearly on his face...Lovely little moments there. All of Ruslaan's reactions to Sangita's dialogues are wonderful - from conveying DV's frustration about Saachi being blamed for the Holi party, to his exasperated sigh when Saachi talks about the "pyaar aur chinta" in everyone's reprimands...

- "Toh phir tumne sabko itni jaldi kaise samajh liya?" Perfect question, DV! Perfect question! Ruslaan's expressions and voice modulation in this part of the scene are beautiful! My most favorite part of this entire interaction has to be the way DV reaches out to take Saachi's arms and he says, "Saachi..." in that hushed tone as she places her hands on his arms as well. What a beautiful, beautiful moment! It's almost like he's slightly annoyed that Saachi is so kind, that she is kind and sweet enough to minimize her own problems while trying to make everyone else happy...but I feel a sort of concerned, resigned, soft, admiration-filled annoyance in the way DV says her name...He had fallen in love with that inherent goodness in Saachi's heart, and it continues to leave him in awe...But he is also concerned for her own happiness, so if he has to, he will go to any lengths to make sure that she is happy and respected.

- Lovely acting from Sangita as well in this portion of the scene! The way Saachi, true to her nature, immediately and instinctively tries to shrug off DV's heartfelt compliment when he says, "Saachi, tum bahut achchi ho..." The way her expression changes as she registers what DV is saying...and then the way her voice wavers as she gets emotional while speaking about all the different roles she is fulfilling in the household as Saachi Dhruv Goel...*sigh* Beautiful!

- "Yaar, Saachi...Saachi, itna achcha hona bhi theek nahi hai. You're TOO good for yourself." And she responds promptly with a firm, "No! You are too good a husband" before changing moods with "Aur thoooda sa smile kar doge na, toh bahut handsome bhi lagoge, trust me!" DV just lets out a weary sigh and gives Saachi a pout instead, even as she pleads, "Please, thoda sa!" The way he shakes his head and she gives him a smile in return anyways...Awww, how SWEET are Ruslaan-Sangita's expressions in this bit?!

- The ending portions of the episode are nice, too...DV quickly changing moods as soon as Saachi mentions that she's going over to see how Isha is doing - this bit makes me chuckle every time, what with the way DV immediately straightens up and says, "Arrey, don't do that!" And then DV's little head shake, with him probably thinking, "Oh, Saachi..." after she leaves the room...Haha, Saachi told him to trust her "thoda sa" but he ended up going to check on her anyways! How cute, aww! And finally, DV's musings at the end of the episode...What a lovely way to end the episode, with that tune and that smile and those lines...*sigh* I want them to go back to Panchgani and stay there forever...Wishful thinking? Perhaps...At least I can go back to Panchgani with Classic JLZ!

Oh my god! you guys write so beautifully. There were some things that i felt but couldnt express and all you guys here have put my feelings into words. Thank you!
What a wonderful episode. Makes me teary eyed to think its going to end soon. Ruslaan and Sangita create magic every time they come together. As artists they share an amazing partnership that reflects so well on screen.

This is exactly the 'Classic JLZ way' of taking the story forward - quick, focused, sensitive, practical, laced with some excellent SARUV moments.

I too am happy that the isha-arvind story isnt some extramarital drama.

Its going to be very difficult to say good-bye to JLZ, especially to Ruslaan and Sangita.as SARUV.
