This is a fun and random post... but if it makes even one of you see the brighter side of things, I'll be happy! 😃
Ofcourse... many members here have been upset with the latest turn of events in the show... SaRuv's relationship gone downhill... the absurd Goel family ... Saachi's personal issues ... DV's drunken state... so on and so forth! There have been cliched scenes... imperfections galore ... but yet we remain connected. We all know the reason and will agree that Ruslaan & Sangeeta.. play DV & Saachi so perfectly, we are hardly able to move away!
In all these years... I have watched too many shows on Indian television. Just jotting down some tried, tested and majorly recycled tracks situations in many many shows -
1) Memory Loss - How many shows have had this? You'll lose count 😆 Thankfully, neither Saachi nor DV have had any such loss of memory... they do remember and miss each other ... A LOT!!
2) Accident - Reunion ke chakkar mein... imagine agar DV ka accident ho gaya toh? 😲😳 Saachi will be waiting and waiting... and then, (going by the trust issues she's had in the past), Saachi will think DV dumped her! Coz obviously no one from DV's side will let Saachi know what happened, na! 😕😆
3) Plastic Surgeries - Nahinnn... I don't even wanna think about it!! 😲 🥱 But its happened in sooo many shows... lost count of this too!!
4) Leaps - From 1 year to 5 to 20 to 50 years... leaps is a given in most Indian TV soaps! Yahan leap ho gaya toh? 😲
5) Illness/Diseases - OMG.. this one! Often do people fall sick or have some killer diseases... ranging from miscarriages to brain tumors to god alone know what!! Tumors are the most common, no? 😆 (Not funny otherwise.. so no offence meant)
Okay okay... enough? Aur chahiye? 😳 Guess the answer is NO! 😆
The whole point is... think of these above WORST CASE SCENARIOS... and trust me, you will appreciate Jee Le Zara for what it is now... no matter how cliched it is currently!
I'm thankful that so far, the CV's have not resorted to any such OTT track. The current track... painful yes .. but is still realistic compared to any other I have seen. In the show... in real time ... SaRuv separation may have just been a few days, not years! Have we not had shows in the past where couples have been separated, only to meet after many years and then they find out the truth?!
I personally appreciate Jee Le Zara for what it is not... that is, a OTT rehash of most other shows! I do see and understand some of the things showed have been oft-repeated ... but to me, the treatment always seems different, hence I don't mind it as much... and probably am able to see the brighter side in all the darkness around.
With all the above scenarios... I certainly don't mean to mock any other show. I myself am a viewer of such shows... have watched these shows and appreciated them too. But for different reasons... mostly coz it may have my favourite actor/actress... which keeps me glued.
I only meant to bring out the fact that ... yes, JLZ has had its share of ups and downs ... but in its 6 month run, it yet continues to be DV & Saachi's Love Story.
A Story of Love... loaded with Triumphs and Tribulations. For me...for our SaRuv.. sab sar aankhon par! 😳
