Actor Ruslaan Mumtaz has finally made it official. He has exchanged rings with Nirali Mehta, a wealth manager, his girlfriend of nine years. The ceremony took place at his residence recently. The engagement was a quiet affairwith only close family members present.

Ruslaan, who is currently seen in Kehta Hai Dil Jee Le Zara and has always shied away from talking about his love life says, "I used to be very uncomfortable talking about my personal life. Yes, I got engaged to Nirali. I will hopefully get married in April or May this year."

The two had met at Shiamak Davar's dance school and Shiamak was instrumental in getting the couple together. According to sources, Ruslaan and Nirali have been wanting to make the relationship official for a long time, but Nirali's parents were a bit reluctant as Ruslaan belongs to the glamour industry. Ask the actor about this and he says, "I convinced them finally that though this is my profession, I am a simple guy at heart and will keep their daughter happy."
