Oh, and that new picture from Sony...Interesting! Does it look like a picture from a past episode, or could it be one from an upcoming episode? *sigh* I am not going to get my hopes up for too much happiness in the immediate future...Curious to see how this week plays out, though, after today's episode!

I think it's from that epi when Saachi came to manaao him with that chocolate...lol...that awkward manaaoing session...when he says to her ki chocolate ke saath saath phool bhi dete hain, toh she goes, "garden mein ek rose khila hai, I'll get that for you"...this is looking like THAT rose to me😆...except she never gave him a flower in the actual epi...yeh DV ekele mein hi flower ke saath baitha lagta hahi😆

I have got nothing to say about todays episode...I dont know myself if i liked today's episode or not!!! Too much going on but Oh well! The picture of DV with the rose seems like a new one... check out the background, thats not his room neither is it dils's house!!!! Its his mumbai waala house (when he goes to speak to his dad, i guess)

@Borna: I just realized something while gif-ing this bit...talking about throwbacks and mirror scenes as you just said...first time she leaned into his hand like that was his dream...uske baad soon after the confession also she used to lean into his hand...but this bit is the first time she leaned in so UNINHIBITEDLY into his hand...the way she REVELS in his touch as compared to her initial shy reactions when she was just opening up...in that moment the development in the character and storyline showed...sometimes we don't give them enough credit😆

As it turns out, I had no time to revisit the episode because it's that time of year again...😆 Yay for New Year's gatherings in reel and real life! 😳 😆 Pity that I'll have to update my review later this week, since I really liked a lot of things about it! Ah well. There's enough to warrant a happy repeat viewing for me.

Oooh, I LOVE this! Thank you, Anu! See, that is a beautiful example of a mirror scene! I'm so very glad you caught the connection, too! Even in dreams, there is such a poignant sweetness to DV's gesture and Saachi's reaction to it. As you said so well, she leans into his hand and REVELS in that touch of his...Uninhibitedly, she absorbs that sensation and all the feelings it brings to her and all the feelings it arouses within her...

I love how, in DV's dream, she looks at him and then reaches up to cover his hand with her own while leaning into his caress...She values that love and support so much...It's like she's grateful for his very presence in that moment of anxiety and loneliness...In Saachi's dream, DV is looking at her with such adoration, but her eyes flutter closed and stay shut very soon after he first touches her...What gets me the most about this particular moment is the way Saachi tilts her head up while leaning into DV's hand...She basks in the warmth of his caress, in the warmth of his love for her...beautiful shot there, with the light on her face! There's a yearning there, almost like a craving or a desire for more, I feel...And then as he continues to focus on her and trail his fingers down her cheek with that light touch, she moves with him, cherishing every bit of that contact between them, with a smile finally playing on her lips at the very end...*sigh*

@bold: Haha! Sometimes we don't give them enough credit, I agree! It's so hard to note and discuss all of the details that are so important (and often subtle) but we do try, don't we? 😃
