Anu, thank you for correcting but for me a star is always because he is a good actor 😊.. I cannot blindly be a phanka... Like you said, Ruslaan is growing in his acting skills very quickly. from the very first episodes cheeky smiles to today... he has come a long way

-I felt the entire episode was rushed today:( but RM as you mentioned shone through it all!& yes I donno what Saachi was talking abt-frankly she annoyed me a bit today by her behavior!I feel like she's punishing him for being courageous & speaking the truth-which is sooo not done!!!

-I loved Aaji-Deepali scene too-again like you said a bit random & rushed! but a good scene nevertheless :)

-Dils is the perfect friend, if DV-Saachi are the perfect couple! they are very lucky to have her in their life. I was hoping she would give Saachi an earful before leaving Prabhu house-coz honestly, DV had to say and do things because Saachi was being a sacrificial lamb. I was hoping for Dils to tell Saachi to man up!Oh well-koi na-our Hindi movies inspired story track will do the needful:)

-DV-Dils scene was indeed very very nicely done!these two seem to be more in sync than DV-Saachi-lol

-I loved loved the last imaginary hug scene-both of them were brilliant there-you could see passion, love, relief, happiness, guilt-all in their eyes-beautiful!!

-Ohh the precap-I was LOLing-it looked sooo funny-hehe

-All in all a good epi, a bit rushed, parr chalta hai-it's all towards a good cause of ending this super sad track!

Thank you, Sammy!

Hmmm I didn't feel the ENTIRE epi was rushed...some bits, yeah...but overall it flowed...from the bits with DV getting angry enough to go to Saachi's house to confront Aaji to the later bits with him calling his mom and then packing up to leave...the only blahh bit in the whole epi to me was the use of the VERY cliched and OVERUSED sob song "Jag soona soona lage"

Apart from that, I liked the new sad version of JLZ they played in the last scene.

What is noteworthy today is that most of the time Ruslaan wins us over with his cuteness and Sangeeta with her powerhouse acting...today Ruslaan made us feel EMOTIONALLY over DV's plight...it was a first on that level for me atleast.

The precap was looking kinda funny, yeah I agreešŸ˜†...also cuz I'm a huge DDLJ fan so just the emulating of that scene was cracking me up...but bechaare DV ko itni chotšŸ˜†

the first scene..as expected DV gets angry after hearing the news that saachi is marrying a 50 year old guy...loved how he said "unhe nani aaji ki chinta hai to mujhe unki" awww DV..that's why u are so sweet...u only think about her happiness šŸ¤—

deepali spoke the truth...arrange or love..it's no guarantee for a successful marriage..at least saachi knows DV well...and also they used Radha-Krishna as reference...symbolic..as radha was also elder to krishna..

Lol I totally agree...DV ne kaafi tameez se baat ki..the only thing he did was...he spoke the TRUTH...jo saachi sun na nahi chahti thi I guess..that's why she got all upset...ruslaan was fabulous here...aaji kept quiet throughout the epi..she only shed some tears hearing what all DV had to say..she knows he's right..that's why the tears...

saachi asking DV to leave..heartbreaking...DV looked shattered at the way saachi asked him to leave..aise chilla kar..aww DV and then his suffocation was portrayed so well...him running his hands up n down his shirt...like he can't breath...my heart went out to him...

the DV- dils scene was the best scene of the epi...some fabulous touching moment...Ruslaan and delnaaz were so good here especially ruslaan šŸ‘ yes thehraav is the right word Anu...there was a lot of depth in which he portrayed DV's emotions...awww @ the way he said "kuch baatein aisi bhi hai jinpe mujhe haasi aayegi jaise when u tried to flirt with me" šŸ˜†
and he looked like a bacha when he said "ek main hi hu jisne saachi ji ke jam ke saath unki daant bhi khaayi" šŸ˜† DV and Dils friendhsip has been really portrayed well...usually in shows they don't give much importance to such friendships but the scenes between these two are always poignant...

Precap: aaji is going to say "jaa saachi jaa..jee le apni zindagi" šŸ˜† looking forward to it

lol @ Dil's dress...i didn't notice..lemme see the epi again šŸ˜†

Maine photooo post ki hai Dils ki dress ki, check it outšŸ˜†šŸ˜†

I knowww haina...Ruslaan just kinda left me like this todayšŸ˜²šŸ˜²šŸ˜†...banda is working hard on his acting yaar...sincerely try karta hai and it SHOWS in the scenes...his scene with Dils touched my heart SO much...especially YEH wala expression🄺

Yeah I'm so glad that Dils-DV ki friendship has consistently developed nicely and they've used their bonding aptly at every point in the show...

Ohhh Radha was older than Krishna? I didn't know this! Oh man, then why all the controversy? Is it cuz Krishna bhagwaan hain toh unko sab allowed hai? šŸ˜†

Tomorrow Aaji will turn into AMRISH PURIšŸ˜ŽšŸ¤£...Saachi banegi Kajol...aur apna DV banega SRKšŸ˜†

*wipes away tears* So many tears shed over the past week...I hope there will be respite soon because my heart may not be able to take much more of this...

First and foremost...Ruslaan Mumtaz! šŸ‘ šŸ‘ šŸ‘ šŸ‘ He shone in this episode and how! šŸ‘
Ruslaan was the undisputed star today, but Sangeeta and Delnaaz were fantastic in the scenes they shared with him...More on these three later!

Second...Screenplay, dialogues, and direction šŸ‘ Kudos to the attention to detail and the execution of the key scenes, namely the confrontation scenes in Prabhu Niwas and the scenes in Dils' house. Fabulous dialogues and wonderful nuances!

- "WHAT?!" "Woh unke principles hai...toh mere bhi toh kuch principles hai ki nahi? Agar woh kue mein chhalaang lagaana chah rahi hai, toh main unhe dekh kar rokunga nahi?" "Woh jo kar rahi hai, unhe sahi lag raha hai, toh main jo kar raha hoon, woh mujhe sahi lag raha hai. Unhe Naani-Aaji ki chinta hai, toh mujhe unki." Less than a minute into the episode and I'm already quoting dialogues. A strong start to the episode for sure! šŸ‘

- "Bahadur log khule aam rote hai...chhup kar nahi." Very interesting, this little line. Saachi has always tried to hide her worries, frustrations, and sadness behind a smile for her family's sake. This reminded me of the "rone se mann dhulta hai..." dialogue as well as the "two-in-one smile" episode...And all those times DV called Saachi "bahadur" also...Is Saachi being brave in this situation? Depends on the perspective, I think...

- "Jeete-jee marr bhi sakti ho na, Saachi?" Ah! The emotions that flit across Saachi's face as her expression changes! The brief moment before she rearranges her facial features into a strained smile...the tremors in her voice that can't quite be hidden with her attempts to appear cheerful šŸ’”Look at her face, her eyes...the glow is gone...

- "Khud ke liye jeena toh aapne seekha hi nahi..." Love Ruslaan's voice modulation here! The way DV starts out all assertive as he makes his presence known to Saachi (the way she reacts as soon as she sees him...šŸ’”) and then softens in tone as he says these words...Beautifully done by Ruslaan.

- "Chala jaaoonga..." And so it begins! I really love the look in his eyes as he says those two words...I feel like there's a slight edge to his tone that also is reflected in his eyes, as if his frustration and anger is simmering beneath the surface, a different manifestation of his love and concern for what Saachi is subjecting herself to...

- DV's monologue: Superb stuff all around, from screenplay to dialogues to execution! The sarcastic, cutting bitterness that starts to come out bit by bit as DV speaks...I'm so impressed with Ruslaan's ability to keep a dignified, restrained stance while he delivers these lines with utmost conviction. His vocal inflection conveys so much...but he never goes overboard. There's restraint in the way that he speaks, even when he's conveying DV's anger. I don't know how he manages to bring out bitterness, anger, and respectful firmness in his appeals to Aaji, but wow! Ruslaan! šŸ‘

- Saachi finally speaks up - and DV's expression changes as he listens to Saachi's voice rising, letting out her pent-up emotions. He is her sounding board...He actually stands there and listens...But he can't do anything to help her when she is pushing him away like this, trying to turn a blind eye to the fact that she loves him...Saachi will do anything for her family's happiness, even if it means she will have to let go of the only happiness she found for herself once in her life...Even if it means she will wither inside...Love the way DV looks at Saachi questioningly, with his eyebrows furrowed, as he tries to process and understand what she's saying to him and WHY she's saying these things to him. Saachi's escalating tone, DV's pained reactions...So difficult to watch. I'm wondering if the "tameez" comment was sort of an outburst that came to the surface as an impulsive, illogical, defensive retort because she felt DV had gone too far with his "Hum dono toh jeete-jee marr jaayenge..." She's overwrought with so many emotions, so many problems...and then there's the question of divided loyalties, too, while her world is falling apart. For someone who has spent the majority of her life living by systematic schedules and without taking risks, maybe it feels like everything is beyond her control now...even her emotions...maybe this game of masquerade is starting to become too much.

- The entire time Saachi is yelling at him, DV is looking at her, trying to speak to her...She doesn't let him get a word in edgewise, so he tries to speak to her through his eyes...She keeps cutting him off because she wants to say things that Aaji wants to hear, but still, DV tries to communicate with her silently and she ignores what his eyes are telling her...

- There are so many little things Ruslaan does during Sangeeta/Saachi's rant to bring out DV's emotions and responses to those words...There are so many shades of pain in his eyes in this scene, different reactions to the words being spoken, and I don't think I can describe them sufficiently...so I'm only going to list a few of my favorite bits. The way DV looks at Saachi, slightly open-mouthed, as if about to say something when she tells Aaji that their rishta wasn't "right", and then shakes his head; the sigh that escapes his mouth as Saachi speaks about the differences between them; the way he looks at her when she raises her hands to stop him from saying anything...and he complies because he respects her...; the way his forehead smoothens when he realizes that Saachi is telling him to leave...comprehension seeps in and shows on his face, but he doesn't move an inch...he just gazes at her with that wounded expression that breaks my heart every time...

- "So please leave. Leave...NOW." Such an awful part of the episode, but I love so many tiny things about it...DV doesn't move when Saachi makes it clear that she doesn't want him there any longer; he just keeps looking at her with that hurt expression. Saachi realizes that he's not going to budge, and suddenly her expression changes as if to say, "So you won't leave like this, then? Okay...Fine..." Haven't seen that expression of Saachi's in a long, long time, and it shocked me. A little moment of acting brilliance from Sangeeta that made me want to hit Saachi out of frustration and hug her out of pity at the same time.

- The shot of Ruslaan as he looks over his shoulder towards the door is a really nice one...The slow turn...The change in expressions as DV realizes that Saachi is, in all seriousness, telling him to get out of her house...Absolutely heartbreaking, the way he looks at her and then casts his eyes down to the floor, blinking as the shock settles. He looks so defeated...The hopeful brightness is fading from his eyes, too...

- "LEAVE, DV." 🄺 Okay. It's only been a little over a week since the revelation fiasco. I thought I could deal with two weeks or more of sad stuff. Apparently not. If we had to sit through more of these episodes consecutively, I probably would have used up a ton of tissues, dabbing at my cheeks. I like drama and sad stuff...and when there's such a great bunch of people enacting the trials and tribulations, it is enjoyable yet difficult to watch...Same deal here. All because of the tiny, tiny things...Like the tear that starts to trail down Saachi's face as DV looks at her as they both stand near the doorway...Almost missed that tiny moment. The next shot of Saachi's face shows the tear track and everything, but something about seeing that tear beginning to escape from her eye as she looks at DV's morose face makes the situation even more sad...yes, I'm saying this even though Saachi is all but throwing DV out of her house. Those tears! šŸ˜”

- Dils! Aah, Delnaaz was fantastic today! šŸ‘ Speaking up and showing the Prabhu elders the mirror without the fog, just like she had showed Saachi the mirror when she had been unfair to DV during the Ganesh puja festivities. So many great monologues in this episode - not going to quote them, but I love this one, too. The part where Dils gives Saachi a reality check regarding DV's departure...absolutely loved Delnaaz and Sangeeta here. Saachi's impassive, almost numb state...Dils' sudden tonal shift when she smiles bitterly and says "Sorry...Correction..." And Saachi focuses a bit..."Tumse pyaar karta THA..." She finally looks at Dils..."Aur tumhaari bahut izzat karta THA." And pretty much as soon as Dils leaves, it's like Saachi's facade begins to slip bit by bit until she gets to the safety of her room, where she finally lets the tears flow again.

- Jag Soona Soona Laage...Ubiquitous sad song! Some of the lyrics do fit pretty well with their situation...Saachi's comments about "kismat", the way their story seems to have cruelly ended even before it could really begin...I like the little flashback Saachi has of the expression on DV's face when she drove him out of the house - it's haunting her, it seems. What I like most about this particular song sequence is (no surprises) the acting from both Sangeeta and Ruslaan. Saachi is pretty much dragging her feet when she steps into her room, as if it's hard for her to hold herself up and walk properly. She reminds me of a puppet or a living corpse...I suppose there's a bit of both right now, since she is bowing down to Aaji's whims and is simultaneously having the life sucked out of her a little more every time she meets DV and has to force herself to stay strong while pushing him away...That bit where she clutches the chair arm and then sinks to the floor...🄺 And the photograph moment, wishing that her parents were alive today and there to guide and console her, perhaps? Awww. Her family has been the source of her will to live for so many years, and now...it seems to be robbing her of her strength bit by bit...It really is her strength and her weakness, this familial love she has.

- On the other side of the street...Brokenhearted DV šŸ’” Damn it, this bit really made me cry. The suffocation that Anu noted in her post...LOVE that nuance and the way we can see DV trying to breathe, feeling the weight of Saachi's words as her voice rings in his ears...He can't breathe indoors, so he goes to his balcony almost desperately; it's no use out there, either, probably because it's the balcony directly across from Saachi's terrace and her voice is still haunting him...Ruslaan's expressions and his body language + Sangeeta's voice + the actual visuals of the flashbacks juxtaposed with DV's reactions to them + DV's tears = 🄺 🄺

- "...Hello...?" šŸ’” šŸ’” šŸ’” šŸ’” This. This reminded me of Saachi's adorable attempt to feign a groggy-voiced "Hello?" back when she and DV were actually HAPPY. That was...only 3 weeks ago? It feels like it's been ages! If that "hello" never fails to make me laugh, this "hello" never fails to make my throat close up...Just the way Ruslaan says that one word is enough to communicate how badly hurt DV is. Bless his mom, who picks up the phone with a smile, only to hear her son's miserable voice at the other end..."Phir ghar aaja na, bachche..." "Panchgani se mera mann bhar gaya hai...I'm coming back..." Awww, DV! 😭 I don't think he ever expected to say that - this "poor man's Switzerland, with rivers and mountains, filled with strawberry farms..." It's the place where he found love...and lost it...

- Nothing is the same as it used to be, Saachi...How could it be, after DV came into their lives, became a part of it, and then was ousted? *sigh* And still, because life must go on, because there are duties to attend to, she keeps marching on, trying to go about restoring some semblance of normalcy to their lives. Little gems of dialogue from Naani about the way Saachi hides her pain behind her smiles...and the mehmaan issue...Oh, Naani! šŸ’”

- Dils-DV and baggage (more points below): DV and Dils have the most precious friendship! ā¤ļø And this scene...SO much to love! Full of throwbacks as well as sensational dialogues and acting - what more could we have asked for? As much as I loved Ruslaan in the confrontation scenes, I have to agree that this scene has been one of his best so far, if not THE best. I LOVE that he underplays the emotions and never lets go of the sincerity in DV's personality...a performance that is quiet and all the more poignant in its revelation of the extent of DV's grief and the way he is dealing with all the emotional blows he has taken upon himself. Yes, Ruslaan has improved tremendously over the past few months because of this show and the team involved in making this show...kudos to all of them and šŸ‘ šŸ‘ šŸ‘ to Ruslaan for such a moving, nuanced performance!

- DV is so subdued now..."Jo laaya tha, woh issmein aa gaya...Aur baaki sab yahan hai...Yahan bahut kuch chhupa kar le jaa raha hoon main...Bahut kuch..." He came and brought only cheer and positivity with him...now he's taking back memories of people he came to respect and love, who gave him affection and then shunned him for no fault of his own. Now he's taking back memories of his first friend in Panchgani, who stopped to help him because she thought his heart was hurting him...that "first friend" became his first and only love...and she loved him and wounded his heart as well...Now if his heart is truly hurting, she is his salve...

- "Iss burden ko toh main halka nahi hone doonga..." DV! ā¤ļø All those times he tried to get Saachi to lighten her burden by crying or sharing her feelings...And now he's going to preserve all those memories because he won't be able to make new ones with Saachi, Dils, and the Prabhu parivaar...

- Awww. These two! This moment is lovely, as are Ruslaan's smiles after this bit along with Delnaaz's adorable little laugh at the "flirting" bit. So, so precious...I really, really love how their friendship has developed throughout the show. Going down memory lane because of the dialogues today just made me smile through my tears because if DV-Saachi's relationship has come a long way since the first day DV arrived in Panchgani, then the same thing can be said for DV-Dils' relationship, too. Such a beautiful friendship! ā¤ļø Ruslaan-Delnaaz do such a great job bringing out that deep platonic affection so naturally! Definitely my favorite friendship in the show.

- "Arrey, yeh cupcakes toh jam -" 🄺 Another throwback! Love this moment for Ruslaan's fantastic and rapid shift in expressions! šŸ‘ The sheen of tears in DV's eyes is even more apparent here when he smiles, brightening up at the thought of those cupcakes...Impulse and habit make him blurt out his favorite culinary combination - and within a second, he is attacked by all the memories linked to the word "jam" and his smile fades. "Ek akela main hi itna lucky hoon...jinhone Saachi Ji ke jams ke saath...unki daant bhi khaayi..." Awww, DV! Poor, poor guy! So bittersweet. Very well done, Ruslaan!

- New stanza of JLZ! Love this! I love all of the stanzas they've composed for the show so far...It makes me so happy whenever these come up during a scene. I want this show's background score and title song, all stanzas...This one's lyrics...*sad siiigh*

"Na palat yoon nigaahein...Meri hai teri raahein...Teri hai meri raahein...
Kisko tha yeh pataa, milna hoga yahan...Aa, saathi banaa...Aa, aa saath aa..."

- "Mat jaao...Mat jaao...Please mat jaao!" Their FACES! 🄺 LOVE their expressions! A+ to both of them for this scene. Also...ā¤ļø x šŸ’” to the thousandth power for the way they look at each other so helplessly...Damn it, these two actors are SO GOOD together. I love how Saachi is the one to come to DV here...All he can do is look at her, his eyes darting all over her face, as she gazes at him steadily, unblinking, her eyes filled with tears on the verge of spilling over. I love the way her voice breaks the first time she says "Mat jaao" and she can barely get the words out of her mouth - his response, that lowering of the eyebrows as he registers what she's saying...she doesn't want him to leave; the second "Mat jaao" is a plea...slightly more intense, more broken...and the third "Please mat jaao!" is a cry, a desperate cry because she can't let him go, she can't...

- Deja vu! LOVE this...mirror scene of the Diwali night confession scene and also the hospital scene, in a way...even if it is only a dream, this progression of sorts is lovely...And each scene has a different tone, a different feel to it. Aaah, Sangeeta's eyes...I don't know how she does this, but those tears fall right when she throws her arms around Ruslaan...That emotional release for Saachi, conveyed in a second through the way Sangeeta squeezes her eyes shut and smiles through those tears...Ruslaan's smile! The TRANSITIONS between the emotions flashing across his face in those few seconds as DV wraps his arms around Saachi, still trying to take in what is happening...the slow smile that spreads across his face and finally widens, lighting up his entire face as he closes his eyes, letting himself embrace the happiness that Saachi brings with her...AWWW! ā¤ļø

- Asides: So much color in the women's outfits! Dils' Archie print dress is hilarious šŸ˜† Oh, Dils. Oh, oh, but I really like Saachi's salwaar kameez in DV's dream! We finally get to see it onscreen, with all of those colorful flowers and that deep cut and dori...Yeah, love the Diwali night deja vu!

See in my haste to catch the epi, I don't generally wait for the HD versions to upload-as a result I miss some key aspects-like Dils' Archie blouse🤣 and DV's choteinšŸ˜•-so am ashamed I missed that-so running off now to watch the epi in HDšŸ˜‰

and thanks to you and @Borna for answering my kostin abt Saachi jee's 'sorry' jhaap. I was really hoping too that she is not sorry for being in love-that would be soo wrong!but her loweee for her family overshadows everything and everyone soo much that I was finding it hard to tell the differencešŸ˜†

he was in full respect n control wile talking to aaji.. then from wich angle did daachi feel that he was badtameez????
But thank god der was no slap scene...!!!!
Aaji seems to be touched deeply by his dialogs.. espclythe one regarding saachi living for others or others made her live for themselves!!!!
Thay was such a powerful dialog...
Nd loved Dils too.. her dialogs to saachi pyaar karte tha.. izzat karta tha...
just brilliant. ..
DV n Dils share such a great bonding, wich makes us to love their pair even if its not a lead one.
In the starting epis I was a bit irritated wd dils.. but nw I completely love her.. she s such a sweetheart .. she was literally begging to aaji in the precap...
Cup cake n jam...
a rare combination but a sweet one..
lyk dv n saachi...
so tomoro ddlj scene. Hope they wil show it in a jlz manner .

Thanks, Neetha! LOL aaj curtains nahin, Dils ki dress notice ho gayi mujhsešŸ˜†

So Radha-Krishna lowee story is really unique-they never got married AND she is older to himšŸ‘...so yeah like @Anu, what's the bigg deal with this age difference then????šŸ˜Ž

@Anu: DDLJ sab ki fav movie hai😳...so yes they are taking a bigg risk with this one..okie mai chali ab !
