another thing i just noticed...next morning how saachi asked aji wat orders she has for chef saachi...how true...did aji catch the underlying meaning that saachi threw at her...as long as she is doing all household chores and being her obedient grandchild she is all gud...the moment she has thot of her own happiness...the moment she has become princess of someone else's heart she is the wayward grandchild who needs to be tied to just anyone as punishment for her sins...

As for Sangeeta...haha yeah I remember her Shabbo waale NB days...they were cute together...I think ppl used to ship them on that show too...lol...I haven't seen much of her ZNKD stint...

Re: Des mein...I guess the whole TV scene was so RAW back then...plus Pammi as a character became annoying for me very quickly :P...Saachi I can connect with much more.

Chalo finish your essay...will look forward to it :-)

Re: world phamous long essays...Achcha? I didn't know that! Should I feel flattered? 🤔 😆 By the way...Another essay is finished and up for further discussion!

Hahahah, Shabbo shipped himself with her, too! 😆 Alas, it was only acting, much to his chagrin! 😆 They had a fun banter going...I only managed to find one of their NB2 performances since Star didn't put NB2 epis up online. Ironically, those NB1/2 performances and hosting interactions with Sangeeta are the only things I've watched with Shabbir in them 😆 And that's how it will remain!

Quick comment about the pathos/executionin JLZ...Yep, agree with that and I'm grateful for it, too - that we can talk about so much without getting swept away by sadness or anger. There's plenty of good stuff in spite of the hurdles in the show's story itself.

@Aditi: Ah! Great observation about the "orders" and obedience thread that's running through the recent episodes.

@Aasma: Love your latest collage/sig with the new stanza of JLZ! Such a lovely composition...I wonder if requests for an online soundtrack would be taken seriously...

Thank you, Sammy!

Hmmm I didn't feel the ENTIRE epi was rushed...some bits, yeah...but overall it flowed...from the bits with DV getting angry enough to go to Saachi's house to confront Aaji to the later bits with him calling his mom and then packing up to leave...the only blahh bit in the whole epi to me was the use of the VERY cliched and OVERUSED sob song "Jag soona soona lage"

Apart from that, I liked the new sad version of JLZ they played in the last scene.

What is noteworthy today is that most of the time Ruslaan wins us over with his cuteness and Sangeeta with her powerhouse acting...today Ruslaan made us feel EMOTIONALLY over DV's plight...it was a first on that level for me atleast.

The precap was looking kinda funny, yeah I agree😆...also cuz I'm a huge DDLJ fan so just the emulating of that scene was cracking me up...but bechaare DV ko itni chot😆

I agree with you completely!

borna...wanted to quote ur post...but thot its too long as my page gets hanged...

beautiful WU as usual...i loved that part about that heart pain...irony isnt it...the first time he was pretending of heart attack and she was all so concerned and trying to take him to the hospital...and today wen his heart truly hurts it is she who is gving him the pain but she cannot do anything...

yes the monologues of this epi r surely very written by purva naresh...how many times till date saachi has told DV to go away...starting from the day he confessed in the rain till today...but nothing cud make him budge from panchgani...not till saachi today literally opened the door and virtually pushed him out...

i can see we all r overwhelmed by DV's perf during confrontation with aji...loved his voice modulation there as i hv already mentioned...the restrain that he showed in spite of all the pent up anger and frustration did actually prove the level of tameez he has...
and saachi actually hitting back at him for apparent lack of tameez was quite bewildering for me at first...
but i guess at that moment her only priority was to make aji happy...and also i guess she really wanted to hurt DV this time so that he actually leaves...
i loved the entire part from wen she told him to leave and he did not budge till the point he exited...sangeeta was mindblowing as usual...but i love ruslaan's some specific expressions...the moment she said he cant stay for even for a minute...loved that hurt expression of his...and then wen she walked past him towards the door...since his back was turned he cud not know wat she is about to do...i loved that expression too...his eyes shifting as if thinking wat she is going to do now...

and i absolutely absolutely loved that part where he slowly turned back...the expression was mindblowing...and then how he lukd at her for few seconds before starting to walk...wait i will just post the avis in a while...i am going crazy watching just that part million times 😳

and then wen he came near her and kept luking at her and just before taking the final step away he gv a very subtle nod...like he is totally done now...that very subtle nod just indicated how defeated he is feeling inside...the more he wants to make take the rite decisions for her life...the more she is pushing him away...he can fight the world for her...but how can he fight the very person he loves...even that he has been doing since they hv been caught...but now wen she has actually opened the door and showed him the way out he can hardly find the way to get to her...

yes wen DV came to panchgani he was fascinated by the mountains and the strawberry farms...he brought laughter smiles to this town only to take away tears from this place...

and yes the dream is truly worth mentioning...both gv superb expressions...even i liked her dress...the expressions as i said was superb...three time she said mat jao and each time she had different voice modulation...perfectly coinciding with her expressions...and DV's expression altered with each of her mat jao...beautiful...flawless perf from both of them in that scene...

Awww, thank you so much, Aditi! 😃

I realize that I really only scratched the surface of Ruslaan's nuances during the confrontation scene...I felt like systematically working through the entire monologue, but then my 2700 word post would have been even longer because I loved every word that Purva Naresh penned for DV in that scene...Plus, with the sort of powerful voice modulation Ruslaan has, it is much more worthwhile to watch the scene and feel the depth of DV's frustration...I feel like words won't truly do justice to those nuances, but still, to tack on to what you wrote in your post, here are a few of my favorite bits, too! I'll add them to my original post now as well...

- The entire time Saachi is yelling at him, DV is looking at her, trying to speak to her...She doesn't let him get a word in edgewise, so he tries to speak to her through his eyes...She keeps cutting him off because she wants to say things that Aaji wants to hear, but still, DV tries to communicate with her silently and she ignores what his eyes are telling her...

- There are so many little things Ruslaan does during Saachi's rant to bring out DV's emotions and responses to those words...The way he looks at her, slightly open-mouthed, as if about to say something when she tells Aaji that their rishta wasn't "right", and then shakes his head; the sigh that escapes his mouth as Saachi speaks about the differences between them; the way he looks at her when she raises her hands to stop him from saying anything...and he complies because he respects her...; the way his forehead smoothens when he realizes that Saachi is telling him to leave...comprehension seeps in and shows on his face, but he doesn't move an inch...he just gazes at her with that wounded expression that breaks my heart every time...

- The shot of Ruslaan as he looks over his shoulder towards the door is indeed a really nice one...The slow turn...The change in expressions as DV realizes that Saachi is, in all seriousness, telling him to get out of her house...Absolutely heartbreaking, the way he looks at her and then casts his eyes down to the floor, blinking as the shock settles.

EDIT: And I've added these points in my original post with a few more words here and there...so now it's even longer! 😆

Ah she did? Yes that explains why she sails through the emotional scenes with such ease...it's quite a talent...most actors seem to struggle with the crying scenes cuz it drains them emotionally...but it speaks for Sangeeta's command over her craft that she can nail these scenes so easily.

So I just caught the episode. Loved DV's dialogues! Every single one. If SG is best at emotional scenes, RM is no less. He definitely has come a long way from the grinning dude to this passionate lover who will stand up for what is right. Ofcourse it does help that he is lawyer too..😉

I am not very impressed with Saachi's dialogues today. If she cant fight for herself, how will she fight for them?! Because clearly convincing aaji does not end their woes..!

I loved DIlz too. Epitome of warmth and friendliness yet curt and blatant where it counts.. Kudos to Dilz for blasting off at Prabhus...

Pre cap: I am not sure what exactly should I make of Aaji's expressions..but we will leave it there..

So DV fought for his love today..did not care a damn! Will the brave lover stand against his own family if needed?!

You've raised very valid points in bold here, Anjali...one, yes Saachi definitely has to do a lot more on her part for fighting for this relationship...but then that leads into your second question...right now she is battling more than DV cuz she has her family to deal with...what will happen when the tables turn and it's DV's family that creates problems? Who will be the strength then? Will Saachi get a chance to show how strong she can stand with DV there? Time will tell...
