What I don't get is that the news about Saachi-DV were spread by none other than Ulka herself, then how come Aaji sits there and listens to her crap and actually agrees to marry Saachi off to a 50 year old that Ulka sought out Why do they even tolerate that woman? She is the one who spread it around the "society," otherwise who would have known because it wasn't like it got revealed at the party or a function. That Ulka is so darn annoying and these days Aaji is becoming annoying too. She was so darn rude to Nani today. I felt really bad for Nani.

DV-Saachi-Aadu scene was really good too. By the way, I wonder if DV has already revealed to his family about his intention of marrying Saachi, a woman 7 years elder to him, or not. Is he so confident that his family will definitely not object their alliance?

I seriously dont understand, was it so neceaasary to show Saachi in such a bad, helpless mental state that she blindly agrees to get married to a elderly man without thinking twice? Its ok if she refused to marry DV for her family's sake, but agreeing blindly to every dictat of Aaji, I feel is very senseless and uncalled for and that Ulka is taking a royal advantage of the situation to get Saachi married off to an old man. I guess, they are buliding this up to enrage DV and make him confront Aaji about her decision. DV is surely going to loose it big time and the old lady will have to bare the brunt tomorrow. I am so looking forward for this confrontaiton now.

@bold: Yes, I think that's exactly it...basically they've brought this bit in to jolt the characters into action...otherwise DV and Saachi would just be left giving forlorn looks to each other...this way DV will be jolted into action and yes in his anger will sunaao some MUCH NEEDED home truths to Aaji.

Saachi as usual will only react to the fact that Aaji will be hurt...and will end up punishing DV for that...and then regret and cry later😆

I'm looking forward to the confrontation too...I think we'll get good dialogues tomorrow *fingers crossed*

Thanks, Aditi :-)

True, something binds them together beyond the initial high of love...Saachi looks at him with such YEARNING in her eyes as if she wants to reach out and claim this small bit of heaven for herself but every single time she kills even the tiniest ray of hope inside her...and DV looks at her with such UNDERSTANDING...even as she hurts him SO badly with her refusal...he bears both...her pain AND his...actually they both do...they've started to appear as one soul and two bodies now...even as Saachi sacrifices herself and feels helpless each time DV shows up, she can't help but weep with both his pain and hers.

@bold2: agreed-yaar there are soo many spoilers out here-I dont know what to believe and what not to believe anymore😕-all I want is a logical course of events-that's it😆

Saachi toh is deffo unreal...lol...and Sangeeta makes even the unreal SO poignant that your heart goes out to Saachi...

The way they show the depth of her love for her family in small small things...the way she INSTANTLY pushes back any small feeling of hers...her own pain CONSTANTLY to smile for her family, to be strong for them...not a single thought, not a single regard for herself...this is what makes the contrast of DV's all consuming love for her even more poignant...cuz she can read in his eyes what she means to him...and she is drawn to that, yearns for that but she keeps pulling herself back only for her family which currently refuses to think about her happiness...and she isn't the kind to CLAIM anything for herself...least of all if it hurts her family.

And DV on the other hand isn't what I'd call self-less...but yes his PATIENCE is UNREAL😆...especially for a man so young...his perceptiveness regarding Saachi is also unreal...he is able to handle whatever she throws at him...even all the anger and hurt.

LOL the grandmas resent Ulka but she is the voice of society to them and they are too busy trying to fit into society to care about how cheaply this woman is talking about their own grandchild I guess.

Re: DV...no, DV hasn't directly told his family about his intention to marry Saachi...he only keeps hinting at a surprise when he talks to his mom...lol...and Dils did ask DV about how he's so confident that his family will accept Saachi...you don't remember that scene?...here is what DV had to say then😆

He's quite confident cuz he thinks that his family will accept what makes him happy and they're broad-minded...but ofcourse for drama's sake, there will probably be some surprises for DV on that front...his mom might still support him...rest of the family seems unlikely.

This pretty much jumped out at me from the page as I was skimming through posts...

SO beautifully put, Anu! 👏 👏 👏
Massive WORD to all of it, truly!

Kis mitti ki bani hai? *sigh* That applies to both of these characters, and I think there's a beautiful, believable, relatable core to Sangeeta's portrayal of Saachi that makes the charm and immense maturity in Ruslaan's portrayal of DV so wonderfully complementary and even augments it.

It's so sad to think that such a broken soul could exist for so many years, not wanting anything or expecting anything for herself...And then when she unexpectedly comes across this man who, from the very beginning, has cared for her opinions and has cared about her well-being and happiness...giving in to the notion that there could ever be someone like that, who loves her purely because of who SHE is, who wants her to live for herself just a little, is something she has never been faced with...And the man who has always, subconsciously or not, taken it upon himself to bring happiness into her life, even when she has pushed him away...He has seen her fighting her heart's desires before, he has seen her fight and surrender...and no matter how many times she lashes out at him, he continues to stand strong for her, because he loves her...Because who else does she have to turn to for the solace and healing and happiness that she needs and deserves, really?

@bold: Its like he knows and understands her better than Saachi herself, and knows that slowly but eventually he will be able to nudge and make place for himself-make her realize he's already a part of her. Though very different from each other at first glance, but they are very very similar at the core.

@bold... yes...isnt it so...nahi to saachi has already gvn the ring back and asked him to go away...but DV is relentlessly pursuing her and knowing that its the ring she gv back and not the feelings that r attached to it...
the more she tells him to go away he feels the more she actually wants him to stay and somehow find a way out of this mess...after all times may change but we girls do luk up to our lovers/husbands/fathers to smooth out our difficult phases...
DV can see the desire in her eyes to be with him...then how can he even think of leaving her...i hv always felt DV can read her inner turmoils even more than she herself can...

i only wish as per spoilers the slap wont happen...that will be going too far...waise bhi i can see she will hurt him enuf by words if at all DV said something harsh to aji...the slap is not needed especially wen DV has already established the fact that he doesnt entertain slaps even at the moment wen he confessed out of the blue and saachi was in a condition to hit him and so cud actually be excused...but still he did not receive the slap...

Just saw the epi, so all i heard was Aaji saying Prabhu khandaan ki izzat, Prabhu khandaan ki izzat, Prabhu khandaan ki izzat

Where is that Prabhu khandaan ki izzat when that idiot Pradeep comes in front of the entire neighborhood and insults Saachi, Aaji etc???

And Prachi already loved someone before marraige so where is Prabhu khandaan ki izzat???

And where is Prabhu khandaan ki izzat when she can insult her son's mother-in-law who has been a support to her and her grandkids???

And where is Prabhu khandaan ki izzat when she wants to marry her young granddaughter to a much much older guy, with 2 kids???

I think Aaji is pretty delluisional and completely ludicrous when it comes to izzat, she has a ego like nobody's business and needs to be a mirror - VERY SOON. Such double standards😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡
