Without intention of offending anybody i just want to continue with a throught you have thrown to all of us and that is about Ruslaan, how long will he continue TV. We have seen so many unsuccessful film actors turning towards TV and TV has made them successful also but what makes us all be so sure that Ruslaan's TV innings will not be a long one and he will return to where he has come from. • We have so far seen Ronit Roy with one film under him Jaan Tere Naam, Raquesh BApat with Tum bin to his name or Ram Kapoor with dont know which films he did but how many of them were having the star presence even in their movies which Ruslaan showed in MP3.
• Ruslaan has always been praised for his good looks so much that he had to lose Slumdog Millionaire because of this. Firstly being the first choice of such film shows that he is known among movie fraternity quiet well but just haven't been lucky in getting success.
• Out of other actors quoted above, how many are a match to Ruslaan's screen presence or personality or confidence or physique. I don't mean to demean other actors but its obvious.
• Except Raquesh all other actors turned to TV when they were no more young so their chances of returning to films as hero were gone. Ronit Roy still does movies but as character actor whereas Ruslaan is young blood.
• Ruslaan has been a part of a project which looks just like a film...it has a whole unit from producer to story writer to dialogue writer to other character artists all from film background. For most of them like Ruslaan it's their first TV project and have just done TV for one show only...this whole crew does films and TV is for a change. He did not choose a ekta Kapoor typical show with drama...so he is known among the audience who rarely watch TV and select only unique stuff on it...so very tactfully he has got that audience which go for movies more and his audience is not the daily soap lover ladies who hardly go out of their houses. With this he has saved himself from overexposure also and made a loyal fan following. Clever move.
• Last thought which I can put forward is that he is a star material in every sence...his dialogue delivery, camera friendliness...openness about his sexuality is what sets him apart...and he being already offered so many films is not a secret...it's only a matter of one good film...once he gets it he can reach heights in films...no doubts...guess his good luck has started.
