Her old father-in-law had noticed all she did. He knew he had done right because his Milind needed someone like her. Not someone like that Ayesha who had caused him nothing but immense pain.Prachi had been pleasantly surprised when Baba had said to Milind:" Look Milind, my bahu is home all day long with nothing to do. You should give her a post in your office; she has an MBA and she will only help you" Grudgingly Milind had obliged but not before he had told her off for influencing his father. "Your schemes seem to be working with my Baba but dont think i'll fall prey to your charm"

But he had still given her a beautifully designed office,and smiled in his head when she squealed the first time she saw how pretty it was; and he had made her VP Finance & Media Relations. The staff loved her. She was immaculate and worked well and he was glad. But he would never let her know that he was drawn towards her, that he liked her, that she made him smile and watching her made him forget his pain even if momentarily. He was holding onto his pride and ego as if his life depended upon it.

A knock on the door caused them to drift out of their repertoire. Milind seemed to realise what had happened. He slowly raised his head, but continued staring at Prachi. Ritwick burst into he room saying 'Pachi milk" Ok beta I'm coming, saying this she squeezed Milind's arm and let the little 3 yr old lead her away leaving Milind with a confused expression on his tear stained face.

As Milind walked down the stairs he saw Prachi running after little Ritwick saying..you naughty baby, finish your milk please" and as she ran around all he could do was stare at the scene in awe, and hope his expression didn't give away the awe he always felt at her kindness.Slowly he walked to his study hoping Sukriti wouldnt awake soon since he had so much to do vis a vis that hotel acquisition. And as she saw him walk towards the study Prachi thought: "see there he goes to his work. I hope Sukriti sleeps for a while longer and then I shall feed her, perhaps she ll sleep until after I put Ritwick to bed. Thank goodness Baba is in Delhi or he wouldnt be able to bear seeing Sukriti like this. With that she turned to run after Ritwick again. "Stop you badmash bacchaa"

As this scene was unfolding in the Mishra house,someone else was thinking about how he could take the hotel deal away from MM Corp. He would make Milind pay for everything he had done. He would not rest until he had taught him a lesson.
