Milind was in the office reading his report on the opening of his new hotel.
"The health and safety requirements have all been met. The safety officer in charge was one Mrs. Prachi Mishra."
Wait, WHAT?! He reread the line again.
"The health and safety requirements have all been met. The safety officer in charge was one Mrs. Preena Mehta."
Milind shook his head. "I'm loosing it," he muttered.
He finished reading his report and phoned his secretary to confirm his lunch meeting with Mr. Sharma on the details of a press conference. The two men were seated in the restaurant. They were just looking through the menus when the waitress came up to them and asked them if they were ready to order. Once they had placed their orders, Milind got stuck in to the finer points of the press conference. When they were done, the waitress came to clear the table. Milind and Mr. Sharma left. On the way to his car Milind was searching for his car keys.
"Damn, I left it in the restaurant!" He went back to retrieve them. At the front podium, he accidentally bumped in to the waitress that was serving them. "Sorry!"
"It's ok. I was just looking for you actually. You left your car keys here." She handed it to him with a smile.
"Thank you," He read her name tag, "Prachi."
"It's Panchi actually."
"Oops! Sorry, Panchi." He decided to leave before he said anything more stupid.
He got back to the office and on his way back he bumped in to someone again. "Sorry!"
"It's ok." Came the reply. The woman turned around and he was facing...
"Prachi?"
"Sorry, who?"
"Oh my god, so sorry! I thought you were someone else!"
"It's ok sir." She walked away with a confused look on her face.
Milind shook his head. "What's wrong with me today! I can't get Prachi out of my mind."
He opened the door to his office and sitting on his chair sat...
"Prachi, is that you?"
"Of course it's me! Sorry, I was just waiting to surprise you. What's wrong?"
He walked up to her and held her in his arms. "You have no idea how much you haunt me." He whispered.
Soz, ending was kinda rushed and it's not my best.
