@panache 😆 I'm a bit sceptical about that sari. All that pure, viginal, untouched white from a western point of view and then the colour of death from an Indian point of view. What exactly was the man trying to convey? Did he have some unconscious, black widow fear of them consummating their marriage. That once they mate, Prachi was going to kill him or something? 😆
No BC, the white saree had a lot of significance. It was right after Milsi scared Prachi with a near rape. He was feeling morseful after that and in fact I think he came looking for her the next morning because of it. This feeling only strengthened after he came to know what she had done for him. He wanted to make up for his crude behaviour. The white here signifies how pure he considers Prachi and the fact that the gift was a saree is to show her that he wants to return back her dignity which he was on the verge to taking.
The saree is indeed a good selection and by the look of it the only good selection Milsi has made.
BC, I agree with you that the kangan scene was cute conceptually but its execution left me feeling unstatisfied. It appeared to be a last minute addition, a sort of after thought and hence seemed hastily and amateurishly shot.
