Copyright of 'Michi'

Guys...this Michi has become world famous....even SBS aired it....but sadly there was no mention of India forum's contribution............isn't it high time that the creator of this term Michi and the entire kayamath forum compose a mail to SBS claiming the credit for this term?

sweetemma, candyfloss, opti and the gang...how about composing a mail and sending it to SBS? or have you done it already😆

BTW who created this term?.....

The term was coined by Star Diva. The rest of us just borrowed it because we found it 'scute' as Panchi said in that interview. So I guess only Star Diva can copy right it. I think she will be fine with the Channel using it to promote their show provided they give what we Michians want, which by now we have made amply clear. Otherwise I guess we need to take a morcha or something, involving some NGOs which champion the cause of upholding Indian values!

Well done StarDiva 👏 .....I think its first time in history of indian television that fans have christianed the jodi...usually it is production house or news papers.....but I am soooooo happy that every one on Kayamath set knows about it and now thru SBS...the world will also know.....

Yes a simple credit for IF or Star_Diva would be nice indeed. But as for 'copyright', I don't know but I think it would only be an issue if Kayamath creative begins selling merchandise with Michi name or something 😆.

If not "copy right" in the true sense of word...at least some credit to Star_diva for creating this term and some mention of IF should have been there on SBS.....

I don't know about mailing SBS and demanding a coptright, but yes Star Diva does deserve a very special mention as she is the one who came up with the name. We loved it and started calling them that..But Shabbir did acknowledge the fact that their fans have christened them Michi!
