Much ado about nothing

Have you wondered how some scenes are elaborately introduced giving the impression they are meant to convey something and later there seems to be no significance or little significance to these scenes? Some of the scenes which readily come to mind are:

- The P and M rings, especially the P ring. Milsi was constantly shown to stare at it and kiss it, it gave the impression that the ring will play some significance in identifying his 'body' or in helping in his recollection if he had PM. The first one has been ruled out and so far the second one also does'nt seem anywhere being fulfilled since I dont see him wearing it these days.

- the elaborate decoration of Michi bedroom with their pictures. Thought that this may play a role in triggering off his memory cells. Unfortunately the entire thing seems to be for Ayesha to get some sadistic pleasure of making Prachi take them down.

-Two fake ONS involving Neev-Ayesha and Milsi-Ayesha. I have still not understood the need for both of them because the person for whom they were meant to hurt (Prachi) seems to not care for either of those ONS. The fake ONS only made us wonder whether an FP track is on its way. But that too did not materialise (thank God). All it did was to make Milsi feel guilty about what he thinks he did.

-Milsi decorated an elaborate nursery for the baby they were planning. After the PIM track started I thought that the guy would be so mad at Prachi he will tear down that room. Alas, we never saw that nursery again. Wonder what happened to it.

Can you think of any more scenes which have had little (or no impact) on the story so far?

Nice list Opti I'd like to add a few the current one Baba screaming "Yaad ker Milind yaad ker Prachi ko!" now wasn't that severe headache supposed to trigger off something or some memory atleast but no nothing he's still a clean slate.I felt that Milind's outburst at the court room was a waste since it was not witnessed by Prachi who SHOULD'VE witnessed it and seen her husband in a reformed manner but then who's looking. Thirdly Rhitvick's adoption why was it never legalised by Milind consenting to be the adopted child's father since ofcourse the foster mother is his wife.Such situations make me keep wondering oh why....but then I must say that these are the only things that keep me from completely losing it for KYM since it's very hard to not consider Michi as a reality in it's ownself. 😊

Yes, Muneeza. These guys introduce certain scenes of supposed significance and later they just pale into oblivion. Take Ritwik's existence. That started off the whole nonsensical PIM track and Michi went on the brink of divorce. But now the poor baby is not shown only. As you said should Milsi not formalise his adoption first before planning his elaborate second wedding?


Another track which has now been put in the back burner is Alaap finding the truth about Ritwik. If the PM/PA track continues, what will be the poor boy's status or do they plan to not bring him back till he is old enough to start asking questions?

Who can forget the whole drama surrounding Inder Shah's death? Wonder when they plan to resurrect that track if at all they do. This MICHI vs WWW obsession is really getting to me! 😡
