Well, yesterday's episode was an eye opener for me. I realised that my addiction to KYM is wearing off slowly yet surely. A serial that continuously not only assaults your intellect but also your emotions will leave you pretty drained and indifferent I guess. When Saket asked Alaap why should he not get married and start his own family I said to myself, this is it. Either these guys (the creatives and Snakealien) are all suffering from PA or are hoping that we are suffering from one. Earlier only characters went missing for days on end without any explanation. Now I guess they believe in the dictum 'out of sight, out of mind'. How else can you explain the complete disregard to Alaap's marital status just because Suyesha has been missing for some time?
The characters are all being butchered left, right and centre. You have a Prachi willfully dragging the bottle out of Milsi's hands, apparently to stop him from harming his health. This, at a time when he fails to recognise her as his wife. If this woman had half as much concern for his health why did she not do so on earlier occasions when he was in full load because of the mental torture she put him through during the PIM track. At the time she just stood, watched and wept silently. No dramatic scenes like the one shown yesterday. And if her concerns for him are still genuine then why is she letting Ayesha have her way? Is Milsi not her primary concern? It was clear yesterday that Ayesha does not care for his well being since she is encouraging him to drink which is supposedly bad for his health. If she lets Milsi marry Ayesha, then is she not exposing Milsi to Ayesha's mercy every day? Does she think that she will be allowed to hang around to pull out bottles from his hand after his marriage? Is she not harming Milsi more by sitting back and letting things take its course? And what does she mean by weeping over Michi's photo, asking him why he cannot remember anything when it is she who is going out of the way sanitising SM from any Michi memories? And Baba was acting so foolishly yesterday talking about bad times and all. All he needed to do was clutch his heart and fake a heart attack. But then the IQ of characters in KYM is less than a five year old. So what can we expect? The only sane character yesterday was Neev who finally ticked Prachi off. It is said that God helps those who help themselves. If Prachi is bent upon ruining her own life, who can be blamed?
I am sick and tired of this show and for the first time am not eagerly waiting for the clock to strike 11.00 p.m. They can show whatever they want to. MWWW marriage? Bring it on. Let Milsi really come to know what it is to be married to that witch. Let WWW know what it is to be married to a drunken brute who gets suspicious the moment his wife so much as looks at another man. Let Prachi suffer the pangs of separation for not being wise in enough to guard her marriage. Let Baba and dadi go to hell for doing precious little to protect their wards from heartache.
I am thankful to Snakealien and Co. for curing me of my Michi madness.
The only things I look forward to these days are the FFs and VMs here at IF. KYM and Michi can go to hell for all I care. I will always cocoon the Michi I knew and loved in my heart.
