- A strong core to the story. Two couples caught up in the turmoil of their lives and marrying each other's partners only to find one couple moving ahead and the other stuck in the past. This is really very intriguing.
- Fairly consistent characterisation. A lot of thought has gone into the characterisation of each of the main characters and by and large they have stuck to this characterisation (with only mild deviations). There has not yet been whole-scale massacre although there were times some of the things that the leads did bring in a fear that they will slaughter them.
- Excellent cast. I think of all the K- serials, this one has the best star cast. Each character fits like a glove to the actor chosen to do it. The only one I feel is a little out of place is the new dadi. And the actors are doing an excellent job.
- Excellent dialogues. This show has had some of the best dialogues so far, whether it is the heavy emotional stuff or humourous one liners.
- The best jodi ever - Michi - I just so love them. So far they have retained the innocence of this jodi.
- Excellent direction - Although at times some episodes were patchy, by and large the direction in this show has been very good.
- The show has been path breaking in many respects.
- For the first time they showed a c-night only after the couple admitted their feelings for each other.
- They followed it up with a beautiful morning after which only reaffirmed their love. There was no shame or guilt as was shown in other past K-serials.
- So far the show has not been corrupted by rape, divorce, ONS or cross marriages. Although there was a baby out of wedlock, atleast they show that it was conceived when the mother foolishly thinks she is married. That is quite an achievement for a BT show - a full year without this sickening masala. (Hope I have not spoken too soon).
- The vamp in the show cannot be called a real vamp, but someone who has lost her way and ended up thoroughly messed up. The shades of grey are pretty dark but are not fully black yet.
- The show has less grandeur than the other shows. Although the flip side is that the cast does not get a decent wardrobe sometimes, at least the show is not as gaudy as some of the other K-shows.
