If ekta is seriously planning to make that then i think it must be well planned.A lot of research work should be done before bringing it on screen.Bcoz in that each and every charecter is a powerful one whether it is positive or negative.In BRC's version each and every charectr got the weightage it needed and the actors playing those were perfect to the core in terms of dialogue delivery,facial expressions,body launguage,etc.Today also if i read Krishna, Dhuryodhan.or Karna anywhere i remember the faces of Nitish, Puneeth issar,PankajDheer, that was the impact they had made.I was thinking whom she will cast for Bhism and Krishna which are the most imp one bcoz i cant imagine anyone other than Mukesh and Nitish as they had portrayed those charecters with so much of grace and aplomb 👏 .
I really hope she doesnt make mockery of it 😕 .Penning story and dialogues for a daily soap and classic like MAHABHARATH is totally different.It really needs hard work from each and every person of the caste and crew starting from spot boy to the director.
Anyways lets hope that we will get to watch a good version of the famous epic afterall this younger generation should get a chance to know our ancient epics like RAMAYAN and MAHABHARATH.

Karna is my fave too... He is the original Anti hero... one guy who puts u through the dilema he went through himself.. between the right and wrong. And in Pankaj Dheer rocked in the Chopra's version👏😃.

Mine too...he was the best..I feel for him😭. bravehero and the odds that he had to face in his life were too much,..I was too tooyoung watching Pankaj dheer as karna but Karna and Punit Issar as Duryodhana are two characters I can never forget..I dont remember anyone else.

Among the Pandavas I like Bhim too.Very raw emotions and I have serious problems with Draupadi for taking advantage and manipulating of Bhimas obnsession for her

Btw I dont think Ekta will go ahead with the list of stars. ... highly impossible for the stars that too so many of them travel that length so regularily esp when they have their respective serials with no bank episodes to fall back on. So hopefully this serial will go ahead with new faces... atleast without Shabbo... I cant see him in a costume drama...no matter how versatile he is😕

Hmm.. Agree..It will be impossible to get all the strong actors of BT for the drama.Relax dear..Lets see whats in store for Shabbo..movies yaa mahabaharat

Agree guys.All I was hoping is that EK wont twist the original scripure ,but yes reading ur posts makes me realise there are a lot more things to consider for doing justice to this classic.

Anju i pray and hope ektha wont give Serpent t openn the script of mahabaratha. 😕 .this guy will change the entire epic and makes sure ektha land in some big controversy. 😕 😕 😕

Am going to be tad bit selfish and say that I Don't want Shabir to be in BT's Mahabarat, would prefer to seem him more in Kayamath anyday. 😳

An old Mahabarat was aired here ages ago, got quite famous and and then rerun rerun rerun. I'm not sure I want to see Shabbir in this kind of show especially with such costumes 😕. Maybe they are making a modern era Mahabarat? (doesn't sound like a good idea, though)

Since this looks big then I want Shabbir to have an important role... But not as one of the Pandavas.
