I won't have to do anything...cause you'll be dead even before you lay hands on my Michigun
b. Knowing you are a feminist, pick your 5 favorite female protagonists on TV
My memory is running low. Besides i haven't really been exposed to too much Indian Drama. So i'll do my best.
First name that come to mind is Shanti (i was too young tho when it aired..so don't remember everything correctly).
Second name Draupadi (in BR Chopra's Mahabharat)..her single most important scn where she was insulted and she questioned the male species about women's role and her place in society...👏 Brilliant scn, brilliant dialogs, brilliant acting and very thought provoking situation. I know she is not a woman is respected much because of her 5 husbands...but during that scn she seemed the embodiment of the entire female race. She seemed an ardent feminist when she asked for justice and criticized the men for their folly and the society for its double standards.
Thirdly, is the star of the American show Veronica Mars. She is the most recent in my list of favs. Unlike most other teenage female characters shown on American tv..she was intelligent, confident. She had a very sweet relationship with her father and therefore (thankfully) was not portrayed as a attention seeking female who throws herself at the mercy of the guys in her life. And the reason why the feminist in me likes her...is when presented with a situation that would make almost any woman hate men and throw stone at the sight of one...she remained unbiased and gave precedence to proof and evidence before drawing her conclusions. And she was right in that decision...otherwise innocent poeple would have been punished. She was a level headed woman who was a very good role model to the American teenager.
Can't think of anyone else at this moment.
c. Where do you steal those adorable smilies from? 😆
Oh come on....just google smilies.
d. Your top 10 MICHI moments 😳
All Michi moments are on the top list.
1) Ayesha's first dream of them hugging
2) Independence day @ the bridge
3) Button todo scn
4) C-night
5) Milind tying Prachi's dori on Independence day
6) Prachi falling from the ladder scn
7) Michi hug outside courthouse
8) Michi dance during janmashtami
9) Milind not wanting to go to work (in Prachi's flashback)
10) Milind imagining Prachi in the snow after his business meeting
e. Three songs that best describe MICHI's love
Prachi's love for Milind - Thode Badmaash from Saawariya (i think the words are perfect to describe what she feels)
Milind's love for Prachi - Dil ne tumko from Jhankaar Beats (i think it is nice because it highlights the longing in Milind to be just as important to Prachi as she is to him. His insecurity and the fear of loosing her will always be there in some degree)
For the third song...wait till my next mix (which should be soon) 😉 Its my idea of what Michi love truly is.
f. If you were tasked with giving Prachi a wardrobe-makeover, what will you recommend?
If i had the authority, i'd throw out all the yellow and peach in Prachi's wardrobe. I like her in darker colors and i think she looks better in salwars compared to Sarees or Lehngas...but sometimes Lehngas are ok.
g. You would love to be reborn as……………..*complete the sentence*
Don't believe in rebirth. But if God had given me a choice before i was born...i wouldn't have been able to make a better decision than God already made about my life.
