Right now it's only work and studies for Kayamath actor Panchi Bora
'I gave up law to pursue TV'
Acting was not on my mind though I was a complete TV buff. One of my cousins, who's a model, got my portfolio clicked and I ended up doing commercials. During the same time, my friend dragged me to a Balaji audition where I got selected for the show Kitni Mast Hai Zindagi. Initially, I had refused Kayamath. I wasn't too keen on doing a daily since I was studying then. But Ektaa (Kapoor) said she could only visualise me in this role. I just couldn't refuse her.
'Prachi is too good to be true' Prachi (her character in Kayamath) is a sweet character. But I am totally different from her. I don't cry at the drop of a hat. Nor do I have problems expressing my feelings—I always speak my mind instead of letting issues linger. Unlike her I can't take pain and suffering in my stride. I scream and bring the house down when in pain. But yes, like her I am a complete family person.
'Kayamath has changed me'
I was quite laidback and irresponsible in my modeling days. But now, I have become hardworking and punctual. Also the show has made me financially independent. Earlier, I would ask my mom for pocket money. Now, I list down my wants and go on a shopping spree whenever I feel like it.
'Jay is harmless, Shabbir down-to-earth'
Jay (Bhanushali, co-star) is a friend and a chilled-out guy. Though he's funny and flirtatious, he doesn't try his pranks on me. I bully him completely and he's quite scared of me. Shabbir (Bhanushali, co-star) on the other hand is a senior actor. But unlike his serious image, he's forever joking. And no, he isn't arrogant at all. We were recently in Turkey for our shoot and we struck it off well.
'I have no time for love'
I am single but not ready to mingle. That's because there's no breathing space for me. Where do I make the time for love? Right now, work and my studies get top priority. I am preparing for my graduation exams. Love can wait for now.
