This should be the mantra for Michi when they get together!
This is the name of the next Ajay-Kajol starrer. I saw the ad in today's newspaper along with its theme line, "Sometimes the greatest journey is the distance between two people."
I couldn't help thinking that this line describes the current situation between Milind and Prachi.
To cover the distance that exists between them is the hardest thing to do. And things have got worse since yesterday. This time the blame may be laid at Milind's door and none other than by Prachi. Of course, she might not be vocal about it....not her style or in her character.
Ayesha, in her immense 'wisdom', has turned matters in such a way that it's likely that Prachi may no longer trust Milind. Hopefully, the creatives won't let matters slide for too long.
But, considering the situation as it looks today, U, Me aur Hum is a long way off. Like I said in an earlier post, it looks as though Prachi's trust in Milind's taken a severe drubbing. Her sudden and unexpected capitulation seems to confirm this.
Somewhere, deep in her heart she must have hoped that Milind would believe in her intrensic goodness and truthfulness...after all, hadn't he fallen in love with her for those very qualities? Thus, the replay of those beach scenes in her mind. She probably realises that her words meant nothing to Milind. It's also likely that she may think that all the horrible skeletons in the Shah closet were deliberately exposed for public consumption by Milind so that she would be forced to concede to the divorce.
This misconception may go on for a while on Prachi's part till ayesha's role in the whole matter is exposed. But, going by ma'am's 'not out' record that's a long way off.
If this fallacy is allowed to slide for too long, I don't think that matters will improve even if the truth about the baby is revealed. Prachi's belief in Milind might have taken such a beating that it would take a lot on Milind's part to regain it.
In all this turmoil, what I'd like to know is how much Milind has confided in his lawyer about what has occurred bt himself and Prachi.
If he has told Mr Shinde everything, then Milind may not be able to deny any charges laid at his door eventhough he's not guilty.
If he hasn't said anything except the bare facts, then shouldn't he wonder how the lawyer got all the salacious details?
Another worrisome thing is Milind did hint or even more than hint to Prachi on the beach that he would make a 'tamasha' of their relationship before the whole world. He even told the 'night patroller' Ayesha the same thing in his bedroom.
So, won't Prachi think that he'd made good his promise?
Yes, I can see that the journey to cover that distance is getting impossible.đ
