Whose house is it anyway?

Whose house is Shah Mansion? We know that legally it is Milind's because he made Ayesha sign on the property papers by duping her into believing she was signing the deal. But as far as I understand he has not paid for it. There is no mention of any payment being made. In fact when Ayesha accuses him of duping her he says he used his brain to take away what was hers. She appears to have signed off free something which came to her free. For she had neither bought that property nor was it willed to her. Prachi had willingly given away the property to her since she had promised her father to make her sister happy at all costs. So though the property legally belongs to Milind, it morally belongs to Prachi.

One may argue that Milind gave Rs.80 crore to Prachi. But that was to save her family business not as payment for the house. And all the torture Prachi bore for it more than makes up for it. After all Milind also got his objective of seeking revenge on Ayeshan fulfilled.

It is now so ironic that Prachi herself is being thrown out of the house and that too by that witch Ayesha, and her husband seems to give his tacit approval by turning a blind eye.

Personally, I feel Prachi is better off living away from Milsi. That guy seems to think of her more favourably when he does not have to stare at her face 24/7, going by his behaviour in Panchgani or wherever he went to. Michi have a better chance of getting back together with Prachi away from SM than within.

If I think i remember right, The property is Milind and he has paid for it. He told Ayesha that he incurred huge losses in the Bangalore deal he signed with her...but he is fine because he got the property for his wife. So obviously if Milind has incurred losses he has paid and paid more than required... so that covers the payment for Shah Mansion aswell. And more over Milind has invested a huge amount in Ayesha's International project in Mumbai... which never took off.... and I dont think Ayesha repaid Milind! And Milind has enough self respect for himself to make false claim that he owns Shah Mansion... He doesnt have to do that when he can afford a house 10 times the value of Shah Mansion! He has in more than occassion said he has BOUGHT over Shah Mansion. So Yes, Milind has paid for Shah Mansion... he has paid Ayesha who held the property at that point in time.... he paid it through the contract he signed. As far duping Ayesha and getting her sign the papers... then it is only fair to trick a girl who originally tricked the rightfull owners of that property.

I might be completely wrong... but I do remember vaguely that Ayesha was deseparate to pay Milind's investments back that she was contemplating pledging her assets. Now I dont know if the contract that she signed with Milind's sister concern was in that regard.

Anyway Milind has paid for Shah Mansion and he IS the Legal and Moral owner of Shah Mansion.

Thanks for the clarification Amu. Since I had not seen the earlier episodes of KYM and had to go by the updates, it appeared that Milsi had tricked Ayesha into acquiring SM. You may be right and he may have indeed paid her indirectly. By the way why did Milind invest in Ayesha's project? Sorry for the ignorance but please let me know the background of this.

I still feel Prachs is better off away from the SM than in it. Hope they dont get baba to keep Prachs back. All this rona dhona is very depressing indeed.

You are welcome, Optimist(sorry dont know ur name) As soon as Ayesha returned from Turkey... she announced she had signed a deal with an international company and was going to open a chain of hotels with them. She didnt know she had signed the deal with Milind. So was surprised to see Milind. Milind's investment in the project was one of his game plans in his game of revenge. So to cancel the deal she had to pay back Milind's investments... it was very huge and she was very keen to pay him and cancel the deal because she didnt want to work with him. It was with regard to this that she went to Bangalore... little did she know that Milind was already waiting to trap her in Bangalore also😆 After that there was no news on their business front... except for the one panchgani(which came up recently) So i guess that 50-100 crores that Milind invested in Ayesha's international project is as good as sunk cost for Milind

I think more than anything we need the truth to come out clean and clear infront of Milind. Even if Prachi has to leave the house... things wont be better... it will become only worse

Actually in a serial where there are misunderstandings galore Kekta couldn't be bothered with a few crores. After all what is 80-100 crores in front of making Prachi a mother. At the end of it all Kekta is not concerned with whose house it is but "Whose Baby is it Anyway?" 😉
While I am at it, wouldn't Prachi have looked pregnant 19 months ago if she was the mother of Ritwick or do we need to explain the female pregnancy to the occupants of Shah mansion.

Anjali, you are asking a very basic question. No biology, logic or common sense will work in Ekta world. Imagine the whole track is based on who has more faith in Prachi's character and not on the fact that a woman cannot have delivered a child living in a house full of people, none of whom were aware that she had a baby including her own mom. Look at all the dialogues the actors are spouting.

On the one side we have PL, Neev and Alaap. PL says that Prachi could never have done this as she has faith in her daughter. Neev says that he never did anything to lower their relationship and he trusts Prachi. Alaap is worse. He says that he cannot believe that Prachi is the mother because he knows his freind Neev and Neev will not stoop to that level. He seems to have more faith in Neev than in his own sister.

On the other side we have Milsi and Baba both of whom believe Prachi is the mother because she said so. And Ayesha who believed in her guilt because the orphanage record says so.

The funny thing is when Suki was narrating how she had the baby, they made her say that she went into hiding and had to use the help of Rohan to stay away from the outside world. It looks like at that time they had to give some logical explanation for Suki's motherhood even though Suki was alone at the time (with Milsi in turkey and her father in hospital). But with Prachi no such explanation is required even though this girl was living in SM all along with Ayesha who is one of the believer in her guilt taking full revenge on her.

if i remember correctly, the house belongs to Prachi. The day after the wedding when Ayesha asks Prachi to leave, Milind comes there and says that the house belongs to Prachi. He tells Ayesha how he duped her and tells her that he is giving the house to Prachi as a wedding gift. So it belongs to Prachi now ri8? or am i wrong?

Amu, yes Milsi has to know the truth. Prachs is not only foolish in trying to hide it from him but is doing more harm to him, Suki, Ritwik and herself by doing so. But my problem with this guy is that he has so far not made anything effort to find out the truth. Yes, he heard Prachi admit that she was the mother of Ritwik. Is he going strictly by Prachi's words? Would he rather trust her words than her actions? And has she always be truthful in whatever she says?

He is aware of atleast one incident when she lied. And that is when he questioned her about whether she went out somewhere and she said yes she went out with Ritwik to the mall. He knew she was hiding something because he himself saw her at the hospital with Neev that day. Should he not have puleed her up then and there? that time he thinks may be she is doing it for a reason. But when she confesses to being the mother of Ritwik, he is willing to buy it. I would have understood it better if he had such doubts at the early stages of marriage. But this guy has personally witnessed her goodness umpteen number of times and is willing to believe the worst of her based on that one lie. This guy fails to read the truth of her love for him in her eyes, a love which is even visible to his friends.

He writes off all her sacrifices and her patience in bearing his torture as a master plan to smuggle in her child. But did he pause to think if there was any logic in levying such a big blame on her? where is the motive for her act? Let us grant that she was pregnant with Neev's child. Going by the timing of the pregnancy, she was engaged to be married to Neev then. Why would she then break that engagement, allow Neev to marry Ayesha so that she can fulfill her vendetta against the Shah family and then clandestinely deliver and dump the child? Would one not presume that she would hurry and marry Neev so that the world does not know about the pregnancy?

Let us say that she dumped Neev because she wanted money. But is it worth dumping the father of your child in the hope that some rich guy will come along and marry you? It is not like already there was a rich guy waiting to marry her. She met Milsi much later after Neev and Ayesha got married. Even then she was not aware that Milsi will ask to her marry her.

He accused her of ensuring that her lover stays under the same roof. Now was he not the one who asked Ayesha and Neev to live in SM. How was Prachi to know that he will do so? He accused her of putting up with all his nonsense so that she can get him to fall in love with her. According to him she even went to the extent of sleeping with him and then smuggling the baby into the house using some cock and bull story. So virtually according to him she sold her soul. If he was to cross his heart and ask whether he really believes she could have done all this I am sure his heart would be sreaming no. What has Prachi done till then to warrant such a huge accusation other than her hopeless lie that she is Ritwik's mom?

So the bottom line is Milsi has not listened either to his head (the lack of motive for hiding Ritwik) or his heart(which has witnessed only Prachi's goodness). If he had only heard one of them he would have tried to get to the bottom of this raaz himself.

Yes, the truth has to come out. Since Prachs is not going to say it and Suki's action is not clear, most likely it will come out in a public gathering may be Diwali celebrations, in the ugliest forms. Milsi is definitely going to be humiliated then.

As to why I want Prachs to leave before that is for everybody's sanity including ours. If Prachs is made to stay in the house, I am sure baba will keep throwing her in his face at every opportunity and he is going to hate her even more since he will have to pretend everything is normal. On the other hand if she is not around, at least absence will make the heart grow fonder.

So the confusion still persists as to whose house is it anyway? I think that house is jinxed. It has only brought unhappiness to its inmates ever since Inder died. Maybe Inder's ghost is hovering around drive everybody's peace. So the best thing would be to sell SM and go some place else.
