How did you join IF?

Here's my experience with IF.

I I was looking for old updates of KS when I started watching the serial in early September. I had heard about RK's acting and decided to see for myself. I was not very impressed by his stout frame in the beginning. In fact on cursory looks at his face while surfing channels I thought he was the villian of the serial, but I was soon memerised by his controlled yet powerful acting. Along with Prachi (Bani), JB made an excellent jodi.

Anyway back to the topic, it is then that I hit IF (through google) and was as hooked to it as I was to the serial. Then the stupid ONS happened in KS and spoilt everything. Even then I was hoping that it was all Pia's imagination and Jai was uncorrputed. That's when I moved from being a silent reader in IF to an active participant in the KS forum, voicing my views. My name suggests the optimism I had in the serial. Alas, everything was dashed to the ground as the serial went from one disaster to the next and by January 2007, I stopped watching it regularly except for the occasional catching up of updates and seeing a few episodes if I have nothing better to do.

A chance viewing of Milsi in the August 9th episode of KYMT got me hooked to this serial. As to my experiences with this forum, it has been fabulous. I guess I am more active in this forum than any other (judging that I moved from 400 odd posts to over 1000 posts in the last three months).

Please share your experiences of joining IF and your presence in KYMT forum.

Its wonderful to be here on IF.. The kayamth forum is everything to me here beacuse that is the only show i watch regularly. Initially i wouldnt but after milind and prachi's marriage ive become a regular viewer!
Every member of the forum is so active, they post lovely threads and topics for discussion. This is one medium through which we are able to vent all our feelings towards the show and its actors and characters. Infact i enjoy being here more than watching the serial[ esp if thyey are going to fill it with so much crap!]I guess im moe addicted to the forum than the show!!
Everyone on this forum is wonderful and i hope we carry on like this forever!!!

well for me actually anywhere MR.Bajaj go I go even I was watching befor he came to Kayamath because of Prachi's mom GOD I love her soo much but never like the jodi of NP because I thought that it was to childish for me to like,so I watch it of and on just to see if there's any new faces that I might like and befor I what was is going on I saw my Kavy then I'm like say what 😳 😆 but befor he could I love u to Prachi I got to know that she is in love with Neev 🤢 then I'm like again 😳 😆I'm going but thank GOD I didn't go on time and thank u Mr.Bajaj for coming in on time or I would have been kicking myself now for not known a guy called Milind,Prachi's real love and husband 😉

oh sorry now I get what u mean by how did we join the IF well I love KAA soo much because of Gauri and we r like 3 weeks behind in UK I was watching one of the episod when Gauri thought that she was sick and going to die and she ask Shiv to married that cow Ipshita and I really wanted to know if he did married her or not and my sister told I can find anything on google so I look for it but couldn't find what I was looking and then I just put the update of Karam apna apna and GOD was so good to me that I find it,from then on I'm hooked 😆

I don't really watch much TV - but some last year sometime, I caught Iqbal Khan throwing massive attitude at this wonderful actress - who I learnt later is Pallavi Subhash. Those were brilliant, brilliant scenes and they shared amazing chemistry. I learnt the name of the serial was Karam Apna Apna. Surfed on the net and found some killer scenes like their dance (also on chup tum raho, chup hum rahe), dhoti scene, and was hooked for a while. I'd not get to see everyday, but would catch-up on IF. Basically I was a silent observer. Iqbal left, the serial failed to keep my interest and I lost touch.

Sometime August this year I was surfing and accidentally came across Mr. MILIND MISRA!!! Oooooh. I don't remember the exact scene - I think it was sometime after their wedding. I checked IF and was hooked for good. I think once the update was for members only - and that forced me to become a member. And the wonderful discussions on this forum - how could I resist contributing my two bits.

My only fear is this serial should not go the KAA way. It has basically lost its magic. I still watch some old episodes of shiv-gauri. They are so wonderful....

But I'm rather sure it's when our TV showed Mamaji and sms issue:) I was wondering too badly whether Michi will fall for each other or not, because that sms was just so mean and if I were Milind I might never trust Prachi ever again! So I was very worried. Thus for the first time I searched the internet for Kayamath, because I knew in India the story must have been far ahead (so I was surprised that it wasn't so far, 'only' about a month apart at that time). Found many forums/sites etc, and also got videos and summaries from other places. But obviously I didn't stay there. I chose IF. This is all happened at the beginning of September.

What attracted me the most to this particular forum was definitely the discussions. Couldn't help joining in and the rest is history. Plus the updates are better and the video is faster (which I noticed later on). Overall this was/is the best place for me. I don't really go to other forums of IF because sadly I don't know any other shows 😕

IF as a whole seems fantastic just like IF Kayamath forum. I just want some new emoticons 😃

I don't remember exactly..I was searching for Neha Bamb😛 and I think I came across IF ...but honestly I don't remember😕

Good to know your experiences dears. So it appears it has been one of the BT shows that has pulled you all to IF. Guess Ekta Mai does have her hold on us, does'nt she?

We may curse her, complain about her insensitivity, mostly curse ourselves why we never learn. But here we are discussing yet another show of hers. One thing we have to grant to her. She does know how to choose her jodis whether it is Jai-Bani, Shiv-Gauri, Milsi-Prachs we just go fida over them even if we know that their union is going to be short lived and the maximum time will be spent in their pining for each other and we pining for them.

ohhh my god ... I am the only person who landed on IF ... not because off ekta....

I had googled tumharie disha....
and bumped in to IF....
been then a guest for a few months and then joined....
