Going over the current retarded track I cannot help but wonder if only the creatives had taken a different more logical route where would we be. Here is what I feel they should have done.
Everything is fine(relatively) till Suki's marriage. Although there was the occasional blooper, atleast the entire track was not totally illogical. This is where I feel they should have taken the route I am about to chart.
- Suki gets married - goes to her in-laws place. (Michi in the mean time have their confrontation and end it with consummation. Would'nt dare touch that part) In their first night Suki profusely thanks Saket for standing up for her against Alaap who had spoken ill of her in front of the entire crowd. She then tells him that she is indeed lucky that Saket had accepted her even after knowing the truth about her past, that she was with Alaap and had a child by him. Now it is Saket's turn to look shocked. He asks her what past. He is not aware of anything. He then gets angry and throws her out of the house. She tries to tell him that she confided in him before their marriage but Saket is not willing to hear anything. After some pleading he relents and tells her she can stay in their room till the next morning (since he does not want to be so heartless as to send her away in the middle of the night) but then she has to leave for good once the dawn sets in. (You might have guessed why I am showing a sympathetic Saket here. Dont want anyone to spoil my Michi's c-night by getting Suki back in Shah mansion early😉).
The next morning Suki is back at her mayka's for puf phera (or so the rest of the household think) (By the way no change in the morning after scene too). Suki then tells Prachi in private that Saket has sent her back after he realised her past which apparently he did not know inspite of her telling him about it over the phone. Prachi is worried and decides to speak to Saket about it. Saket is in no mood to speak to her.
In the mean time the duo invent some cock and bull story for Suki's presence in the house. A week passes by and soon Milsi gets suspicious and asks Saket jocularly as to why he is not coming to take his newly wed wife. Saket then breaks the news about Suki's past and the baby raaz. Milsi is obviously heart broken. He gets back and lashes out at Suki and then at Prachi for not confiding in him earlier. He is appalled that the two ladies have left the baby in the orphanage when there is an entire household to dote on him. He promptly goes to the orphanage with Prachi and adopts his nephew. But he is still very angry with Prachi for not trusting him with the truth, especially since she was the one who brokered the wedding between Suki and Saket. He blames her for his sister's life to be ruined. So there is some cold war going on between the two of them and the only meeting ground is when they occassionaly brush against each other while trying to handle baby Ritwik together.
Prachi, in the meantime, is working hard to get Saket to accept Suki. She meets him often and tells him of Suki's innocence and Alaap's cunningness in this matter. While initially Saket is not willing to believe her, he later comes to know of what Alaap did to his sister (by the way Alaap breaking his engagement to Purvi was not told to him by Niharika and co). He slowly begins to realise that his friend is not as innocent as he seems. In the mean time Suki gets back to work with her brother so as to take her mind off her personal life tragedy.(You may ask why is she not taking care of the baby. I was not very convinced about her parenting skills from the beginning, so kept her out of it). Saket happens to meet Suki in connection with some work (Sorry dont know what Saket does for a living. Is he a software engineer?) Suki and Saket slowly re-establish their relationship. With Prachi continuously bombarding Saket to accept Suki, he finally accepts her since he really loves her. When Milsi realises her hand in putting his sister's life back on track, he forgives her and they make up.
Ayesha's jealousy track could have continued and her efforts to break Michi would have only strengthened their bond further. Everything is hunky dory till the Inder murder mystery is reopened and Michi try to unearth it. Pranay's ultimate arrest at the end of it can then start the Neev vs Michi revenge track since he believes his father is innocent. Ayesha can then join forces with him in his vendetta and there begins the Neesha track.
So much fodder to play around without bettling the beautigul relationship Michi shared and the creatives have chosen the worst, most illogical track to break our love birds.😭😭
