@Candyfloss: the no comparison rule was emphasized because the discussions were getting too nasty. To prevent offensive posts it was necessary to stop comparing the couples and characters in KYM. So far this post hasn't gone that ugly. Altho with me here you can't guarantee that.j/k 😆
Ok now for reply to the topic:
I'll try to be as unbiased as possible. Altho i don't have much more to add other than what has been said already...i just felt the need to react.😲 😲 😲 Same reaction as Ryka and Krishi...and we all know why.
I ran out of Kasturi (and deprived myself the darshan of two hotties) because i couldn't stand the characterization of Ronak and Kasturi. I'll not talk about the later. But Ronak is very unrealistic. No human being would react to things the way he does. For that they would have to become a saint and Ronak does not claim to be one so i couldn't find any logical reasonings for his actions and emotions. But Milind, I can relate to because his characterization is realistic. Milind sees events and reacts to them like an average person would do. He is not mahaan and most people in the world aren't. Yet he tries his best to live a morally upright life as best as he can, caring for his loved ones and living and fighting with his own insecurities and complexes. My analysis of Ronak is based on the events up until Robbie's sister fiasco cause i haven't watched Kasturi after that. But it is also true that Milind and Ronak come from different backgrounds and therefore are completely different personas.
As for Ronak's saintly behavior being attributed to his role of a second-lead in Kasturi...I am not one to believe that it is Ekta's formula to make her leading men to be arrogant, hot-headed fools that jump to conclusions. Prime example, Kkavya...from one of BT's most successful shows. There might be others but i haven't seen much more. Kkavya was the perfect husband. Now i wish Milsi would learn a bit something from Kkavya..not become like him but just learn to trust like he did. Kkavya baby trusted people 100% and even those he shouldn't have but in the end his unconditional trust and love won the hearts of two women who were out to kill him. He was the perfect guy.😳 Ok enuf of Kkavya love. It is not that i don't like calm, understanding, relaxed, sacrificing type of characters. Just take Prachi for example. I am the biggest fan of Prachi in this section of IF. But i can't bring myself to love Ronak. Y? Because even Prachi is a realistic, relatable character. Even she is a vulnerable person who depicts her insecurities, weakness and her strengths when the situation calls for it. She too was bitten by the mahaanta bug but still she remained human enough that you can understand what she is going through. But Ronak doesn't seem to go through an emotional graph. There was no change in Ronak's character no matter what sort of issues he dealt with. And that is very unrealistic.
So no i wouldn't want Milind to be anything close to Ronak. Because Milind is much more interesting. He is more realistic with many more shades to him. As for trusting Prachi, he will learn to do it slowly. He did infact trust her (remember the hotel incidence)until Ayesha intervened and ruined it. It is natural for all characters in all serials to be mislead at some point in the story. That is the way for creating drama in the show otherwise the story won't move forward. This time around it is Milsi who is the shikaar. Soon it will be Saket who will mistrust Suk when the baby secret comes out. Then it will be Prachi mistrusting Milsi when the ONS issue comes out.
Extremely sorry for the long post. 😕 Thanx for reading.
