Recap: Prachi meets Milind just hours before his engagement to Sonia Singhania and confesses that she wants to give their marriage another chance. She apologizes for not having faith in him. However, her confession is too late. Milind has hardened his resolve, and wants a divorce. Prachi leaves heartbroken.

Part 47:

Milind retreated back into the room. He was supposed to have a shower, but instead he just sunk his body into his chair. He covered his face with his hands and sighed, trying to comprehend what had just transpired. He had just gone through a firework of emotions. He'd rejected Prachi, the only woman he ever loved.

He closed his eyes, but visions of her standing in front of him in that sexy pink sari flashed before him. He opened his eyes to avoid thinking of her. He tried distracting himself by looking out the window, but memories of Prachi took over his thoughts. His mind uncontrollably flashed visions of her. He remembered their wedding day. He remembered how mean and rude he used to be to her. He remembered saving her from the cliff, the day he thought he lost his father. He remembered feeling as if his world was going to end when she was injured. He remembered kissing her in the midst of a storm. He remembered the special night when they confessed their feelings for each other. He remembered their night in Sydney. He remembered stealing kisses from her whenever he could find an opportunity.

His mind was flooded with good memories. He tried so hard to toss them away, by thinking of the heart ache she had caused him. He tried forcing himself to think of the night she left him, and her cold behaviour towards him. It was of no use.

He tried to be angry, but all that he could think about was Prachi's touch and Prachi's smile. He recollected her gentle heart and love for everyone. All he could comprehend was how it felt to have her in his arms. He remembered that when he held Prachi, it was if nothing else existed in the world. When he was with Prachi, nothing else mattered.

As he was lost in his thoughts, Neev ran into the room. "Milind! Where's Prachi? Did she talk to you?" he asked happily.

Milind answered painfully, avoiding eye contact with Neev by looking out the window, "I made a horrible mistake."

"What?" exclaimed Neev. What had just happened?

"I let her go," said Milind softly.

"WHAT? ARE YOU AN IDIOT MILIND?" yelled Neev, furiously.

Milind turned around to look at his friend, "I'm an idiot right?"

Neev gritted his teeth, "You are the world's biggest fool. She loves you, despite everything. She still doesn't know about Ayesha, just like you. She was willing to stand by you, and work it out. YOU JUST LET HER GO?"

Milind quickly stood up and spoke, "Do you think I can catch up to her? She just left a couple of minutes ago."

"Milind Mishra, you better run. You can't afford to have the love of your life leave you again. You're miserable without her, and she completes you. GO GET HER!" exclaimed Neev.

Milind quickly rushed towards the door, but before he did he turned towards Neev, "But what about the engagement? What are we going to say?"

Neev thought quickly, "I'm going to pull the fire alarm and pretend that there was a fire in the left wing. We'll empty out the hotel. That way we can distract the crowd, and abruptly end the party. When I have a minute, I will explain the situation to Singhania. Singhania will probably end the merger, but who cares? There are things that more important than business deals."

Milind quickly hugged Neev, "Thanks Neev, you're an amazing friend."

Neev chuckled, "You can thank me by getting your wife back!"

Milind nodded and without wasting another second, bolted out the door.

Tonight, come hell or high water, he was going to get his wife back.
