Yesterday's episode again underlined the fact that Milind is an impulsive guy who lives in the moment. He does not think through the consequences of his actions. He is convinced that Prachi's happiness lies in Neev. He knows that Prachi would not have been unfaithful to him. But he thinks she is still with him because of a sense of commitment.
He feels responsible for this situation. For was he not the one to force this marriage on her? He did that to get back at Ayesha for ditching him. He also did it to avenge the misdeed of Alaap against Sukruti and in some ways he feels the Shah family was responsible for his losing his first love. But now he has realised that in doing so he has been unjust to the one he really loves i.e., Prachi. He wants to make amends and so he sets her free.
The guy is so dense he did not pick up the subtle changes in his wife's demure. In the Independence day celebrations when they dance together his jaan could not take her eyes off him. Contrast that with her insipid dance with Neev in the reunion party. She was not even looking at Neev. The duffer witnessed it all in the television. Yet he is so dumb he could not pick up these subtilities. Somebody play the two CDs together for him. Maybe atleast then he will see the truth staring at his face. Sukruti where are you? If you cannot reveal your dumb secret atleast play the two CDs back to back in this birthday party and make the duffer realise what he has lost.
Despite all his shortcomings I love the guy for ticking off Ayesha. He is definitely over her, ONS or no. When he told Prachi that one does not forget one's first love he did not seem to include himself. He has defintely gotten over his. The only reason he felt sorry for Ayesha the day after the ONS was because he knew that he will never get back with her, with or without Prachi. This being the case he did not want to have given her any hopes. The guy still respects women. That is why he had not gone all the way when it came to the rape scene too.
For me it is MICHI all the way. Misunderstandings not notwithstanding. &n bsp;
