she tried hard to move out of his hold but he held her tight to him his eyes boring deep into her senses. She didn't understand what has been going on in his mind today. Why had he hugged Ayesha, why he was so childish and utterly senseless to me earlier and now why is he looking at me this way???. I know this look. This is his "I want to kiss you" look. And why am I melting in his arms now? she quickly tried to extradicate herself but before that she heard him say "I want to kiss you"
NO she said it quick and loud, she knew that this was going to come. If she had made through this night the first thing she wanted to do is fly into his arms and shower him with kisses but no, forget about kissing all she wants to do now is to get out of his sight. She shook her head in the negative.
I didn't ask for an answer came a coarse answer. He leaned forward and took her lips in his and began to savor the sweetness.
Neither did she move away nor did she kiss him back but he continued. It was only when he tasted salty tears that he moved away to look at them flowing down the pretty face he adores.
He knelt down before not once casting his eyes away from her and softly said

No need. I liked the kiss she said bluntly for which he gave her back a sweet smile.
I have to go Milind and the moment she took a step away he caught hold of her hand in his and softly pressed it, his eyes still didn't waver even for a second. he looked at her only at her, with so much love.
She too knelt down on the cold sand before him her eyes still mirroring anger. In a very soft tone he started speaking again. I shouldn't have said that you deserved it. I was only kidding, partially, you must know it. Prachi that was only for 10 or may be 15 minutes and I truly am sorry for what I did to you sweetheart, but you tortured me for about 1 hour ........and before he finished

Prachi, what not have we been through? First it was Ayesha, then came Neev, then Mallika and Ishaara tried to butt in too but STILL, still, we stood strong in our love and we surpassed all of them.

Do you think we should post pone our wedding for sometime until Ayesha is in good terms with it? she asked with concern so evident
He smile lovingly, hushed her up and gently kissed her eyes. Your fianc has troubled you enough for today now no more crying. He quickly placed his forefinger on her lips silencing her, chup! kaise baathey kar rahi tu! He took her sandals that she was still holding and helped her put them on while he began explaining to her how he had taken a wild guess and came to that beach looking for her after Inder informed him about her stupid act late at night.
Prachi smacked herself on her head what has gotten into me today Milind. I disappointed you, I didn't care about mama papa, they must be so worried about me mujhe jaldi jaana hai and both of them finally stood up.

Thank God I had come at right on time before those 2 drunkards came near you! A shiver went down her spine which made her throw herself onto him and hug him tight. Actually I think there were three. I remember seeing another guy in the opposite direction..and it only made Prachi cling to him even more tighter. Milind let out a chuckle and said "actually there were four" and she whacked him on the head still clung to him.

They started walking hand in hand and Milind started to narrate his side of the story. I came closer to you to give you a nice lecture about responsibilities and take you back home, but you moved away from me. After apologizing for the umpteenth time she defended saying that she had never seen him wear such clothes and hence couldn't recognize him. Well sweetheart, this is how your fianc dresses up at night! Don't worry, you will get to know much more of Milind Mishra, very soon baby. Much much more he said huskily, bending down wanting to kiss her lips but Prachi being Prachi shyed away.

Now the pretty lady was really enjoying the beach. She kept running, jumping now and then showing a child-like exuberance while Milind kept grinning thinking about how contrast her behavior was just a few minutes ago. He had seen a whole new side of her, one that he was never exposed to. Though he felt sorry, somewhere deep in his heart he knew that he had enjoyed his little stunt.
He rushed to her when he heard her scream out his name only to see her pointing her finger at an old man selling roasted peanuts. I swear Milind! she sounded shocked, I didn't see him before. I looked around for help but he wasn't there. Milind laughed at her fuss and convinced her that the man was indeed there and the weak elderly man wouldn't have been of any help anyways. Agreeing with him she went up to the old man who sat on the cold sand shivering and all bundled up. The weak man was asleep but his grip on his basket of peanuts had not become loose. She shook up the man who now woke up startled at the sudden movement. Do palli dijiye. He was only glad to have customers even at that time of the hour. Prachi put a 100 Rupee note in his palm and said "chillar rakhiye ga dada. aaj keliye bas. Ab aap ghar jayiye aur aaraam se sojayiye. Bohoth thand hai na? aapki tabiyat kharab hojayegi" and both waved off the elderly man. After giving Milind his share of peanuts, Prachi began to play one of her most favourite games. thanks to Milind's training, she had mastered it. Quite.

Oiy Prachi, you are not doing it right. Instead of going into your mouth, they are landing on my head. Ab dekh, aise? aise karna hai and he threw one nut in the air which landed perfectly in his mouth.
They continued playing until they reached Prachi's car, now that she was chilled out to remember where she had parked it. Milind let her win the game and before he left for his own car she caught hold of his hand "Milind, I am sorry " she said quite embaressed. When she realized that he still didn't fathom the reason of her apology she slowly said
" for.. kicking you....THERE!"
It's ok.
That's all he said.
By the look on his face Prachi understood that what she did wasn't OK at all. She stood on her toes and kissed his bearded cheek. Puhleez, is THIS the compensation Prachi? pfft as he mocked, Prachi went around him to the other side, stood on her toes and kissed his other cheek too. As she rubbed her lips for his beard pricked them, he brought down his forehead for her. She pushed back his thick curly locks and once done with that part she came down to chin on insistance.
She knew that he would now pucker his lips for this is not new to her. She went closer to him her lips inches away from his', her warm breath enticing him like always but that night Milind Mishra did not get any luckier.
For all she did was whisper against his lips..
"Better luck next time 'curly hair dude'"
