How wonderfully you have written this update Opti - such a pleasure to read.

So MICHI have two children - aboy and a girl.

Feel a bit sorry for Milind for missing out on Ayesha - his 'first' love (or maybe just infatuation), what a shock the poor guy got. It's as if fate had purposely interfered and made him miscalculate and miss out on Ayesha - Prachi was the one destiny had chosen for him!!

Ayesha seems to be such a wonderful daughter and sister, the whole Shah family come across very pleasant. I hope Ayesha never finds out what was in Milind's mind. Ironic that she was the one to do the gahtbandhan. Love the way you made Ayesha late for his anniversary wedding and contrasted this scene with what similarly happened in their first wedding 25 years ago, how starkly different were the two reactions that Milind must have experienced.

At least one thing I am glad about is that Milind doesn't hold Prachi responsible for any of this. However one can't help but imagine that it will be an uphill struggle for Prachi to make herself aware and understood by her husband who has already given his heart to her sister (at least he thinks he has).

Opti nice update.

so misunderstanding of names happened as ayeesha dropped prachi notebook.

Milind i have to say he accepted the marriage as he knows prachi cant be punished as she nowhere got herself in this matetr.

but i am sure it will take time for him to accept prachi....

nice one ...very very nice update Opti.

that is a wonderful update.

first i laughed so much imagining milind's condition. was imagining how he mustve pulled away his sehra to witness the sight infront of him.

his world tumbled upside down but he just was there staring still at ayesha trying to gather his thoughts. he didnt manage to utter a single word.

if it were someone else...... 😆

but thereafter i felt very sad for him. the way he just numbly followed his marriage rituals....i pitied his condition.

but opti, his love for ayesha seems to be very strong😕 that he did all that to gain her hand in marriage or was it just his passion to get wat he wants in life.

he remembers her voice even after 10 yrs. wud he forget her easily???

the best thing was the maturity and teh sense of morality he showed towards prachi....in all that bewilderment, in all that shock and pain of losing his love of 10 yrs,

he still thought about his bride sitting next to him. thought about her smile.

but now she was his wife, for better and for worse

👏

im so proud of this milind. he is wonderful so far.

and i dont think he will be angry at her, like how he was in DC, though i really liked him that way.

wonder how this milind wud deal with his wife. sure its not going to be easy for him

Thanks Nikki. I was struggling with this one because there was so much I had to say and I could not figure out the sequence in which I would say it. Since the story is progressing from his point of view and her point of view and further complicated by the past and the present, I had to make sure I am understood in all this experimentation in writing style. Yes, Michi have two children. They are quite grown up. Ishan is nearly 23 years old and Sahana is 20.

Wow!! this chapter just shocked me!! I would say poor Milind, but then marrying the wrong sister..was his gain in the end! :)) I could just picture..him mechanically following all the wedding rituals.

I do feel sorry for him.... Thanks Opti

He was too much in a state of shock.

but thereafter i felt very sad for him. the way he just numbly followed his marriage rituals....i pitied his condition.

Yeah, it was too big a disappointment, one which will not go down well for a long time.

but opti, his love for ayesha seems to be very strong😕 that he did all that to gain her hand in marriage or was it just his passion to get wat he wants in life.

His passion to achieve was driven by what he considered as his love for her.

Lets see. Not promising you anything now. One has to keep in mind that the man had really great expectations from the woman he was to marry.

Yes, it was a very big disappointment for Milind and destiny does seem to have played its role here.

Ayesha seems to be such a wonderful daughter and sister, She is. She is bright, loving, ambitious with a mind of her own. Nobody can sway her.

the whole Shah family come across very pleasant. They are a happy family.

I hope Ayesha never finds out what was in Milind's mind. Lets see what happens next.

However one can't help but imagine that it will be an uphill struggle for Prachi to make herself aware and understood by her husband who has already given his heart to her sister (at least he thinks he has). It is going to be a tough task indeed. As of now the girl is blissfully unaware of the turmoil he is going through.

Thanks Yas. I guess you are as shocked as Milind. Poor Milind indeed. As to the gain at the end, it will take time for him to see it that way.

Hey my Ayesha is here!! WHen I read about THAT girl in the first update, I was this is Ayesha! So M had to marry Prachi instead. Wanna see how Michi marriage worked finally.
