Chapter 2 "Michi coming out"

Just like Jay said, anything related to Michi travels faster than light. It has been less than 10 hours that he changed his status on facebook saying Shabir and Panchi were finally a couple and his inbox was already full; everyone asking him if its true or not. His wall was full with people asking him to clarify, they wanted to know if he was playing a prank. As he scrolled down his profile he read:

From Ira: OMG OMG OMG, finally our prayers have come true

From Sweety: Jay, are you playing some sort of prank on us, if you are you better run, cause we Michi fans will kill you…but if its true, then a BIG hug to you

From Upa: I knew it, I knew it…I simply knew it…I cant tell you how happy I am. Thanks a lot Jay, wish you all the best as well

From Nina: Ohhh noooooooo I wanted you and Panchi together LL

From Tros: Love you Jay, never thought I was going to say this to you…but yes, seems like you deserve it for giving us this special news, not that we didn't know about it already. Thx

Lying on his bed, as he read all the comments, his phone rang. He looked at the caller ID; it was his partner in crime. "Hello Sanju" he said

"Hey Jay…what's up" said Sanjeeda on the other side of the phone.

"Guess what, they fell for the plan"

"WHAT" said Sanjeeda sitting up straight on her bed. "You mean they are going to make it public…Oh my god…I cant believe it"

"I know...i just hope it works"

"It will…I'm sure it will…they wont be able to come out of it" she said assuring him. They had both come up with this plan and wished with all their heart it would work.

"So what next" said Jay

Sanjeeda gave one of her wicked smile's "Nothing much…we don't have to do much…just wait till the news goes to their parents…that's when the real plan will commence…"

"You are right…poor Shabir and Panchi…they wont be able to run from them…" said Jay. "But Sanju, what if they find out…I mean Shabir will kill me"

"Ohh Don't worry about that…we will tell them the truth… they wont be mad… we didn't do anything wrong….we actually did them a favor" she said in return.

"Anyways…see ya soon…good night" he said before he hanged up.

"Good Night" she said as well. She wanted to call Panchi tonight, but then thought against it, she would wait till Panchi called her.

Just as she was about to go to bed, her phone rang, she looked at the caller ID, it was Panchi. Snajeeda smiled at herself. "Hello" she said

"Hi Sanju, its Panchi…I need to tell you something…but you have to promise not to tell anybody…and also not to laugh"

Sanjeeda already knew what she was gong to say, she wanted to laugh, but controlled herself and said "What's the matter…anything wrong"

"Everything is fine…" she said and then narrated everything to her. "Sanju, I said yes, but now I'm not sure about it anymore"

"Panchi, Jay is a genius…this a perfect plan…and its only for sometime…so there is nothing to worry about…" she said reassuring her. She didn't want Panchi to back up, not that it was possible since the news was already making it to tomorrow's headlines for sure.

"What will mama say…I think I will tell her the truth…"

"NOOOO" said Sanjeeda. If Panchi told the truth to her parents, then their plan wouldn't work anymore. "Listen to me Panchi, there is no need to tell your mom…once all this is over then you can tell her the truth…for now just play along"

"But Sanju, I have never lied to my mom" said Panchi

"You are not lying…you are simply not telling her all the facts…now stop thinking too much and go to sleep…you will have interviews coming up…be excited…I'm telling you its going to be lots of fun…goodnight"

"If you say so…good night" said Panchi and hanged up. Maybe Sanjeeda was right, she shouldn't worry about it too much, this was sure going to be an experience of a life time.

Lying on her bed she texted Shabir "Ready for tomorrow"

After a minute he replied back "Yep, I'm sure tomorrow its going to be on the first page. You ready?"

She texed him back "I guess so, see you tomorrow GN"

And he replied back once again "Will come and pick you up tomorrow, GN"

They both went to sleep, wondering how this was going to turn out. Only if they knew how this decision would affect everything around them. This would change their life forever for the better.

The next morning, Panchi woke up and got ready to go to the sets. After taking a quick shower, she went downstairs and joined her parents on the table for breakfast. "Good Morning mama…good morning papa" she said as she sat but they simply smiled at her. Her mom served her toasts and then sat beside her.

As Panchi ate her breakfast, she noticed how her mom kept on looking at her. Wondering if she already came to know about it she said "Mama, what's the matter"

"No I'm just looking at how big my daughter has become"

"Mama" said Panchi all confused.

Her mom handed her the newspaper and Panchi took the paper from her and read:

Michi have finally come out open!

Millions of fans across the world are partying for their favorite jodi Michi. A very reliable source/close friend, who prefers to remain anonymous have said that Shabir and Panchi were indeed a couple. Both Shabir and Panchi were unavailable but we promise to bring you the latest news. We here, from indiatimes, wish the couple all the best.

"So, is it true" her mom asked

Panchi had prepared everything in advance, she knew what to say. She took a deep breath and slowly said "Yes"

However, to her surprise, her mom didn't even ask her for an explanation. She simply came and gave her a hug. "I'm so happy for you…my little baby is in love"

"Mama, you are not mad" said Panchi

"Mad? Why would I be mad…Shabir is a very nice boy…and your father also likes him very much" her mom said

"But mama, then why would you always be mad whenever there were some article on us" she asked

"Because I wanted you to tell me the truth…I always had a feeling that you guys were more than just friends…" she said smiling at her daughter. Panchi simply looked at her, she thought her mom was going to be very shocked, but it was she who was shocked with her mom's reaction. She now wondered how Shabir's parents reacted.

Just as she thought of Shabir, there was a message from him saying waiting outside of your house

Panchi, kissed her parents goodbye and as she was about to leave, her father said "Tell Shabir I want to see him tonight…"

Once in the car, Panchi told everything to Shabir. He smiled at her and said "Its normal, everyone would want a son-in-law like me…remember I'm a sheik" and Panchi hit him hard on his arm.

"Ouch…what kind of girlfriend hits her boyfriend like that" he joked with her.

"What kind of boyfriend calls himself a sheik" she said and they both laughed. "Another thing Shabir, papa wants to see you tonight"

"What? But why…"

"Because, hmmm let me remind you…you happen to be going out with his daughter…and another thing…what did your parents say" she said

"Well, I kind of left in a hurry…so my mom didn't have to chance to talk to me" he said. The truth was he actually sneaked out since he knew how is mom would react.

Once at the sets, they were walking towards their vanity vans, when suddenly Shabir caught hold of Prachi's hand. As she looked up to him confused, he told her to look ahead. There were a couple of journalists waiting for them.

They immediately came towards them with so many questions. "Shabir and Panchi, when have you started to date" Another one said "For how long have you been seeing other" Then someone else said "How has all this started" The questions just kept on coming and coming.

After some time, not able to take it anymore Shabir simply said "Yes, Panchi and I are seeing each other, period." and then walked away holding her hand.
