Nikki, although you are being very kind in all your praises for me, I am not the only one who was passionately analysing the show and making this forum active. Ryka was remarkable in her character analysis. Magno was wonderful with her unusual take on the show. There were many others, my dear Pink Panther - Krishna, Sangs, Pippa, Pam, Munee, Shweta, Shubs and many others although most have left, fed up with the show. I guess now only a couple of us from the old gang are still left, out of some sense of loyalty to the show we spent hours discussing.
As for being passionate, I guess it is both my strength and weakness. Because of my passionate love for Michi, I ended up feeling more hurt and upset by what they did to them. They will still remain my favourite T.V.Jodi but they will not be what they were to me before. All I now want is a happy ending to this show.
P.S. How can I forget JC and her wonderful work not only in making lovely posts, VMs and FF but also keeping the MH thread alive. Sorry JC for forgetting to mentioning you.

All those mentioned in blue above (especially Ryka), and you Optimist- should I say I hate you all for getting me addicted to Kayamath, more precisely to this forum? 😆 I think if I had just watched the soap and not come across this forum, I probably would have just loved the actor Shabbir and finished with that. I wouldn't even have watched it regularly as I can hardly think of watching any other show for so long.

But the bigger truth is that I so regret not being a part of this gang and not having overlapped with some of those members when both the show and the gang were at their peak (July-December 2007?).

I must say, the discussion you people used to have was so thought provoking and involved so much passion that I couldn't resist being a part of it, as soon as I got a glimpse of it. This explains why I still hang around in this forum though I hardly watch the show these days. The forum has been an enriching experience.

WOW!!!!!

First Thankyou Rimzi for the post... and y last.. is that one of your " i am taking a break but i'll be back because i can't stay away posts.."

And ofcourse..

Akkaaaaaaaaa... i think i started that din't i... wow to all the post you made. Its something to see them on the first page and realize just how much time, effort and thought was spent on this forum by you..coming up with some of the craziest.. i mean interesting stuff.😆 I especially remember the blood type analysis. Don't know why that just stayed in my memory for this long consider my excellence in remembering things.. (Rimzi i must learn what it is your feed your brain to have such memory). Newho i must say thanks to you to have been the one to come up with discussions even after most of the old gang left. I just to just wait for one of you to post something so i'd start sharing my pov..somehow didn't enjoy posting my own thread as much as i did seeing your POVs. You, Ryka, and Munee..and BC's humorous ones.. I missed Magno so much and BC's posts always reminded me of her.

Well now i am getting all nostalgic. So i'll stop. Newho.. kudos to you for sticking till the end. 👏 I commend you and everyone who is still suffering this in the name of loyalty to our idea of what Michi were and should have been.

May God bless you and everyone for keeping me entertained and supporting me when i was going insane with obsession over this show.
Luv🤗

Shubs, I too wish you were part of the gang during the show's haydays. During the PIM track I remember we used to have so many arguments as to whether it was Milind's fault or Prachi's fault. Staunch supporters of Milind like Ryka, Munee and Magno used to defend all his actions. Kitty and JC used to defend Prachi and I used to find fault with both of them, for to me Michi was more important than either of the two individuals. The ED thread used to be filled with our points and counter points but at the end of the day we used to be like one big family. I remember there was once a misunderstanding between me and Ryka and for some time I stopped posting in her threads but we made up later and till now I hold her in high regard and we have cordial relations. Those days it was more about issues rather than the people who voiced them. We used to passionately defend what we believed in and not indulge in petty attacks of the person. As a result there was room for healthy discussion. I still remember Sonia strongly defending Neev and Ryka and I finding fault with him or JC defending Ayesha when I found fault with her. Mmmm....
Well, the characters were also acting fairly consistently those days for people to take sides. Now we do not know what or how they will react to situations. So there is no point defending a character who will let you down the very next scene. The story has also become boring and absurd, not to mention the fights which keep errupting the minute you make a statement which is not construed as 'positive' whatever that means.
These days it is the FFs which is driving the forum.

Thanks Milsi.
JC, We did have a lot to discuss those days didn't we? I really miss the old gang. I think if they had all stayed back we would have still had some discussion filled threads, inspite of the pathe tic tracks but then I guess they wisened up.
Fools like me still stick on not with hope that things would get any better (as I used to think earlier) but more out of a sense of loyalty and nostalgia. Since I am still writing a FF, I am hanging around and will do so even after I have finished it because I am addicted to a couple of others. I dont regret getting addicted to this forum for it is this forum which has got me in touch with so many people around the world.

Saima, I was more angry with Prachi that day for she does not tell the whole truth even at that point. After all the person she was protecting herself asked her to tell Milsi everything and yet she plastered her lips. That beach scene was fabulous. Both of them did a great job enacting that scene and that heart felt hug is still my favourite Michi hug.

Never watched a single episode of Kayamath till date, but followed all the updates through this wonderful forum!

Unlike the writer of this post, I have indeed had the pleasure of visiting many other forums as a silent member and can definitely say that Kayamath Forum has been one of the best...filled with some of the wittiest, brightest and most talented writers!
Even when the show was taking extremely strange twists and turns, the participation & enthusiasm of the members and the quality of posts in the forum never wavered...sometimes sarcastic, sometimes heartfelt and sometimes just plain hilarious...there was always something or the other to read on this forum!
I have been following Optimist's posts for a long time and have really enjoyed reading her unbiased, objective and extremely well-written thougths on the show, the actors and the characters. Her Opti-mixes are something which I am sure everyone here enjoyed watching as much as I did!😊
So three cheers to the Kayamath Forum for bringing much more entertainment and fun than the show could ever manage to do on its own!

Thanks soapie. Sorry do not know your name, so couldn't call you by any other. It is very humbling to know that there are people who I do not know following my posts and appreciating them too. In fact only today I was in the Bandini forum (after hearing a lot about the show) and read a couple of your posts there and I must say that you write very well yourself . This forum for me has given me as much as I have given it and yes it is one of the best forums in IF.
