Personally I felt that was pretty tame but I can understand not to indian television standards.

Reems this is exactly it... The scene was bold by Indian TV standards... I mean if you see any other show, they wouldn't go half as bold as they did last night... Not that I watch every serial, infact right now KYM is the only thing I see, but even if there is a romantic scene in other serials, we get to see very rarely, say after a few months may be... But as far as KYM goes, the frequency is pretty high 😆

this is for u Shachi together u rocks👏

and please don't ever back down or back out on any scenes because of what people may say.

Kayamath has always pushed the envelope regarding boldness as far as Indian TV goes... But yep this stuff is quite tame compared to the stuff I see in American TV serials, Hindi movies and British shows, I guess....

Well to be fair, atleast its shot in an aesthetic and an un-vulgar way.... and its not the only serial which does so, I remember KZK had a bold C-Night between Dhara and some guy... and that was also pretty bold IMO, although veneering more on the vulgar side....

I do agree that for the first time i felt KYM had a "bold" scn in comparison to the shows of its kind on Indian TV. However, lolz...it wasn't Shabbo and Panchi's scn that made me squirm...it was the half naked ladies in the precap. 😆

On the topic: i watched yesterday's scn with my mom next to me. 😕 Not that I was most comfy with doing that...but my mom is cool about such stuff...maybe cause she's seen much more in the American shows i watch. And i'd definitely say that my mom is an orthodox indian lady...so maybe yesterday's scn wasn't so bad. Indian audience just has some double standards i guess on what is acceptable in its movies and what is not acceptable in its TV shows. Cause definitely indian movies don't have the same standards for bold scns that tv shows do. Agar movie mein dekh sakte hain toh tv par kya problem hai?

On the flip side...i wouldn't watch it with someone much younger than me who shouldn't be watching such stuff. So for those with kids in the house...i guess it should be a problem..but then...kids are still up at 11?? Maybe thats why the 11pm shows are trying to push the envelope.

I guess its ok because of its timing. 11pm is quite late and obviously in comparision to hollywood programs, it was tame but we aren't goras 😛 So we prefer our Indian shows to be not so bold. Bollywood films have become very bold and maybe the shows are moving that way too. I wonder what the aunties think of that?! 😛

Reemz I understand your POV too.... I honestly think its more like progressive, as in I think that Indian TV will get bolder and bolder as time moves along.... Ok, dunno what point I'm trying to make... But I think people will slowly adjust themselves to such an idea in the future, and then it wouldn't so bothersome any more... More like "Ahh just another passionate scene" *yawn*....

I mean to say that this sorta thing is inevitable...

Oh well I mentioned in some other thread also that I was watching the scene with my father in law and hubby and was feeling a bit embarassed because of the age difference😆😳..
But if u r watching the same scene with your hubby or BF or friends then I don't think it can b considered too bold..in fact if u r quite free with your parents too..then the scene won't b considered that bold..
Milind was only pouring water on Prachi na...aur kuch toh nahin kiya na😉😆😆...
Think about even more bolder scenes between Kripa and Prithvi in Kaisa yeh Pyaar hai or BAjaj-Prerna love making sceneS in KZK😉...Those scenes will cross the limits of even the Emraan Hashmi-Mallika scenes in Murder...
If u ask me,I don't consider yesterday's scene bold at all😕...yes the first night between Michi can b considered a bit bold😉😛

I agree... i was watching the same with my mum around and it was very awkward..!!..its hard to react!

THANK YOU GD, i'have been watching indian tv for about 5 years now and i lets my kids watch all dramas with me because there is nothing rude but one day my son asked me why dont they kiss? i explained why but he asked me watching partner(salman and govinda)they kept on swearing. all reality tv stars swears on live tv,and the dance move can be .... but why michi's scene is being said offensive? i'am african even in my country we don't allow that kind of scene on tv but when people dance oh my god you should see and maybe it s depend on other people 's point of views .
